LITTLE BIG TOWN RETURN TO HOST ‘COUNTRY’S NIGHT TO ROCK!’ (NEWS & VIDEO)

Little Big Town return next week to host the CMA Music Festival. Fans who can’t make it to Music City can catch the action on the ABC-TV special Country’s Night to Rock on August 5th. The announcement was made on People.com, and you can check out the big reveal in the video below.

The fest is just one of many big events happening for LBT next week. On Tuesday, June 3rd, the group will release their new single “Day Drinking,” off their upcoming, still-untitled sixth album, before performing the song at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (June 4th). Then the CMA Fest, which promises 424 music acts on 12 stages, kicks off the morning of June 5th (when will these four sleep?!) before wrapping up on Sunday night, June 8th.

The band will also release their new single, “Day Drinking,” next week.

LBT (CMA Music Fest 2014) OC: (Phillip) …the best, man. :43
KAREN: “To me that the most fun you can ever have…CMA Fest, Stadium shows. It is an energy unlike anything else. It was over the top and I could just come out of my skin at those moments. KIMBERLY: “Me too.” KAREN: “It’s like you just want to float.” PHILLIP: “And it’s like the best country crowd you could ever compile. Every country fan from all over the world wants to be there.  That’s like the crux of country music awesomeness.  [laughs] I’m telling you it is the best fun.” KAREN: “It’s the best feeling out there.” KIMBERLY: “They let them line up and all come across the stage so you have all these people that are so giddy, crazy giddy, because they get to walk up close to the stage.” PHILLIP: “And they’re waving and their arms are about to fall off. They’re just so excited. It’s the best, man.”
