New York, NY (February 11, 2015) – William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, will publish the first cookbook from Little Big Town‘s Kimberly Schlapman titled OH GUSSIE! on April 14th, 2015.

Kimberly Schlapman is an award-winning country music superstar whose fans have fallen for her easy confidence in the kitchen and the effortless way she entertains. They love her cooking the same way they’ve swooned over her high harmonies singing with country music powerhouse Little Big Town. InOh Gussie! Cooking and Visiting in Kimberly’s Southern Kitchen (William Morrow Cookbooks; April 14, 2015) written with James Beard Award-winner author Martha Foose, Kimberly shares delicious recipes and soul-stirring stories from her roots in the Appalachian foothills of north Georgia, her travels on tour with the band, and from the life she loves back home in country music’s capital.

“I’ve been so excited about this that I could hardly stand the wait!” says Kimberly Schlapman. “When I’m not on stage with Little Big Town, you can probably find me in my kitchen.  As long as I’ve been singing, I’ve been cooking.  I have poured my heart and soul into this book, and I hope these recipes and stories will inspire you and bring you closer to the ones you love as you fill up their bellies—and their hearts.”

William Morrow has acquired world rights to the book. Cassie Jones, VP & Editorial Director of William Morrow Cookbooks, negotiated the deal with CAA.
