Maddie and Tae are set to release their first-ever holiday collection, We Need Christmas, available Friday, October 23rd. The six-track project features two originals, “Merry Married Christmas” and title track “We Need Christmas,” plus beloved holiday favorites including “This Christmas,” “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
“I hope that fans can expect a spark of joy from this Christmas project,” says Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Kerr. “We really wanted to make each song special and unique and just joyful. Something that we all need this year is Christmas and the love it has, so we hope that this makes you smile.”
“I think right now more than ever as we say in ‘We Need Christmas,’ we really, really need Christmas and all the joy and hope and love that the holiday season brings,” says the duo’s Madison Font. “It’s just something about Christmas that silences all the chaos for a couple of days where you just get to quiet down and be with your loved ones. We’re just so excited to be able to celebrate Christmas this year and really, really cherish that quality time that we didn’t get as much this year with quarantining and everything, so, AND the fact that we’re gonna get to blast our own Christmas songs for our families.”
