Maddie & Tae are set to release their new EP, Through the Madness Vol. 2, on Friday (September 23rd). Including their recent releases, “Every Night Every Morning” and “Spring Cleaning,” the project will feature eight new tracks, each penned by Maddie & Tae alongside some of Nashville’s most esteemed songwriters. Through The Madness Vol. 2 is the follow up to Maddie & Tae’s acclaimed Through The Madness Vol. 1, released earlier this year.
“All of these songs were written – no pun intended – through the madness of the past couple of years,” says Maddie Font. “And I feel like all of these songs are kind of little beacons of hope that even in the hard times and just through it all, that there is still hope and there’s still good things to look forward to. So, yeah, I love that all of these songs belong together.”
The pair, who are nominated for CMA Duo of the Year, say they hope the songs on the new volume give fans hope. “I hope that fans feel seen and loved and encouraged on whatever walk they are walking through,” says the duo’s Taylor Kerr. “I think this volume has a song for everybody, hopefully to get them through their days.”
The two recently launched their CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour. Click here for more information on tour dates.
