Maddie & Tae (adding Christmas songs) OC: …the two of us. :32
TAE: “We knew that we either wanted to continue our We Need Christmas EP or like just do a whole new one, but we realized we were working with limited time with Maddie having a baby coming. So, we were like let’s just add three of our favorite Christmas songs to this, you know, call it a little holiday collection, and it’s, technically it’s a whole album now, and maybe next year we’ll do a whole nother album. But definitely, (we) wanted to keep the Christmas tradition going. This is one of our Christmas traditions now between the two of us.”
Maddie & Tae (Christmas music) OC: …feels so good. :39
TAE: “Christmas music is so joyful without even trying. I think, for me, listening to it personally, it reminds me of sitting around the piano at my Nanny and Papa’s house and my Nanny would play on the piano and sing Christmas carols and all of us grandkids would sing along, and my Papa was a fantastic singer, as well. So, it really just brings up a lot of great nostalgic memories and makes me think of my family. And with the very busy, crazy, chaotic life that we lead, Christmas is always a place for home, for rest, for those traditions, and it feels so good.”
