“I can’t believe I performed on the Ryman stage for my first Grand Ole Opry appearance,” shares Mickey. “It’s been such an incredible journey to get to today and I am so excited to share my first single and video with the world. I can’t thank Country radio enough for being so kind to me and accepting of my music.”
The Texas native has appeared on several Who To Watch in 2015 lists including NPR, Billboard, Spotify,Yahoo! Music, Huffington Post, Mashable, Taste of Country and Nashville Lifestyles.
“Guyton is quite possibly the best female voice to come along since Carrie Underwood. She’s an impact artist, no doubt!”
“…giving mainstream country insiders hope that the genre will welcome another young woman into its still-pretty-macho top echelon.”
“…if you’ve seen her get standing ovations from radio programmers at her private showcases, you’d be hard-pressed to bet against Guyton, who has the good looks, sweet spirit, and — most importantly — serious vocal chops to go all the way in the genre.”
