Lady Antebellum have been added to the list of presenters for the 2013 American Music Awards, which will broadcast live from L.A.’s NOKIA Theatre Sunday (November 24th) at 8pm ET on ABC. The trio will also perform during CBS’ coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Keith Urban garnered several nominations for the 2014 Country Music Awards of Australia, including Male Artist, Single for “Little Big of Everything” and Album for Fuse. The 2014 CMAAs will take place January 25th in Tamworth. In the meantime, Keith is featured on the cover of the new issue of People Country, on newsstands now.
Dierks Bentley will perform during the Discover Orange Bowl Half-time Show in Miami January 3rd. The game and half-time show will be broadcast live on ESPN.
Luke Bryan will perform during the GAC-TV special, Alabama & Friends, November 27th. The hour-long show was filmed at Nashville’s Ryman auditorium and will also feature Jason Aldean, Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line and Trisha Yearwood. The special will air at 9pm ET on GAC, and will repeat November 28th at 6am ET and December 3rd at 10pm ET.
The Robertson Family, who just released their Christmas album Duck the Halls, will now have a children’s book on store shelves early next year. Everything’s Better with a Beard is a picture book by Si, Willie, Phil, Jase, Jep and Alan Robertson, the stars of A&E’s hit show Duck Dynasty. Everything’s Better with a Beard will feature the bearded Robertson men explaining that whether it’s a dog or a truck, a tree or a duck, everything’s better with a beard. In other news, the Ducks’ Christmas special will air on A&E on December 11th.
Shania Twain has been voted Country’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2013 by Country Weekly readers…for a second year in a row. She’s featured in the November 25th issue, which is on newsstands now.
