Luke Bryan is among the artists being honored by CMT during their CMT Artists of the Year special. The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year will be joined by pals Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and Hunter Hayes during the show, which will be broadcast December 3rd at 8pm ET.
George Strait’s “Give It All We Got Tonight” was awarded the Platinum Digital Single award by the Recording Industry Association, while Luke Bryan earned a platinum award for his his album, Crash My Party.
Keith Urban has been nominated for two ARIA Awards, which is Australia’s version of the illustrious Grammy Awards. He’s up for Best Male Artist and Best Austrlian Live Act. The ARIA Awards will be presented December 1st in Sydney, Australia.

They’re joined by The Civil Wars, Emmylou Harris, The Black Keys, Kris Kristofferson, Martina McBride, Marty Stuart and many others. The one-hour documentary will tell the story of the evolution of Music City “through the eyes of the musicians, songwriters, producers and artists who live and breathe the inspiration of this great city.” For the Love of Music: The Story of Nashville is set to air November 3rd at 3pm ET on ABC.
