NEWS AND NOTES: LUKE, ERIC, AJ, DIERKS, BILLY, KIP, SAM, KEITH, KACEY AND MUCH MORE

Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Billy Currington are among a handful of headliners for the 2015 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this year. Eric will kick the event off March 3rd, while Alan takes to the stage March 7th, Billy on March 14th, followed by Dierks March 16th. Luke will close out the event March 22nd. Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes, Florida Georgia Line, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry and Tim McGraw will also headline.

Kip Moore and Sam Hunt are among the semi-finalists for this year’s ACM New Artist of the Year Award, alongside Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr,  Thomas Rhett, Chase Rice, Cole Swindell, and Dan + Shay. Fan voting starts January 27th and runs through February 10th at VoteACM.com and VoteACM.CMT.com. The 50th Annual ACM Awards will broadcast live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington (Dallas), Texas April 19th at 8pm ET on CBS.

Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves are scheduled to perform during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival running April 24th through May 3rd. Elton John, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga,  Jimmy Buffett and Ed Sheeran will also perform during the event.

Eric Church, who’s up for four Grammys, including Best Country Album for The Outsiders, is among the first performers announced for the Grammy telecast in February. Madonna, AC/DC, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran will also perform. The Grammys will be handed out live February 8th at 8pm ET on CBS.

A few country Grammy nominees are included on the new 2015 Grammy Nominees album, including “Raise ‘Em Up” with Keith Urban featuring Eric Church and Little Big Town’s “Day Drinking,” among others. See the track listing of the collection, in stores Tuesday (January 20th), below. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from L.A.’s Staples Center February 8th at 8pm ET on CBS.
