• KIP MOORE HAS WAITED A LONG TIME TO TOUR WITH MIRANDA LAMBERT.

Kip Moore is having a blast on the road with Miranda Lambert and her Keeper of the Flame Tour, along with Brothers Osborne. He said he’s been waiting for a long time to tour with the female vocalist.

“I’ve been waiting to tour with Miranda a long time, and it’s a true pleasure to get the chance to go out and see such a pro go out and do her thing,” says Kip.

He says she is what he strives to be on stage as a headliner. “Miranda brings everything I hope to be as a headliner to the stage. She brings honesty. She brings great songs. She has a true craft of working the stage. Everything about Miranda is endearing on stage, and that’s what I always hope that I can naturally pull in a crowd the way she does.”

The next stop on the Keeper of the Flame Tour is Thursday (May 19th) in Bethel, New York and Friday (May 20th) in Virginia Beach.

Kip is making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Running for You,” which is from his Wild Ones album.

Leading into the release of his eighth studio album BLACK (Capitol Records Nashville) multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley is giving fans behind the scenes access into the making of the album with “Apple Music Presents: Journey Into Black.” Each episode of this revealing four-part series will explore the meaning behind some of the songs that are particularly special to Bentley. Episode 1: “BLACK” is available now and focuses on the album’s title track, a song that Bentley has said “captures the vulnerable idea of love and its darker shadows.”

Additional episodes will be available over the next two weeks and will explore Bentley’s current two-week No. One GOLD hit “Somewhere On A Beach” (5/20), along with the first listen to “All The Way To Me” (5/24) and “Different For Girls” featuring Elle King (5/27).

To watch “Apple Music Presents: Journey Into Black” go to: applemusic.com/dierksbentley

BLACK is now available for pre-order at iTunes.com/dierksbentley

“BLACK explores so many different sides of relationships…at it’s most powerful and most crazy,” shared Bentley. “Love has a hold on all of us and will lead you down some crazy paths. I am very appreciative to be able to work with Apple and their original content team to pull back more layers of the record and give the fans an inside look into how it all came together.”

Bentley continues to dominate country radio with “Somewhere On A Beach,” as it holds the No. One spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts for a second consecutive week. The infectious track recently earned GOLD status by the RIAA ahead of the album’s release and serves as the fastest rising single of his career.

Bentley “tackles relationships from all angles” (Associated Press) with BLACK as the 13-track project is “unlike anything fans have heard from Bentley” (Entertainment Weekly). The singer just launched his 40-city 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR with Randy Houser, Cam and Tucker Beathard last week and will bring this summer’s “top must-see” (The Plain Dealer) show to Cleveland, OH (5/20), Chicago, IL (5/21) and Detroit, MI (5/22). • DIERKS BENTLEY SPENDS A SECOND WEEK AT NO. 1 WITH ‘SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH.’

Dierks Bentley is spending a second week at the top of the Country Aircheck Mediabase and Billboard country charts with his latest single, “Somewhere on a Beach.” The song is the first release from his forthcoming album, Black, which is set to arrive May 27th.

He kicked off his Somewhere on a Beach Tour over the weekend and played for over 40,000 fans. “This weekend was the pinnacle of everything we’ve been working on for basically the entire past year,” said Bentley. “We’ve been hunkered down in the studio all winter finishing the record and moved straight into the rehearsal space to build the tour. It all came together this weekend to some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard…they definitely set the bar hight, but I have a feeling it’s only going to get rowdier from here!”

Leading into BLACK’s release, Bentley “started the season off right” (The Times) launching the summer concert season with his biggest hits and new music from the forthcoming album, which continues to catch the attention of critics.

“It’s different –€“ far better, even –€“ than anything Bentley has done. That’s saying something, considering ‘Riser” was up for country album of the year at this year’s Grammy Awards.” – Cleveland Plain Dealer

“An eighth studio album that takes a deep, dark dive into relationships, from the initial glow to the messy, shadowy parts.” Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
“Bentley, who nicely straddles the line between new and classic country, goes deep on ‘Black,’ exploring adult themes with a deft touch and artful hand. He has a rich, warm tenor voice with a dusty drawl, and applied here, it has suitable gravitas for the situation.” – Asbury Park Press

Bentley continues to give fans an exclusive first listen as the BLACK Listening Bus, powered by BEATS BY DR. DRE, will stay stationed at the next four upcoming dates in advance BLACK’s release. All BLACK Card Members have immediate access to the interactive bus as the 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR stops this week in Cleveland, OH (5/20), Chicago, IL (5/21) and Detroit, MI (5/22). • CHRIS STAPLETON SHOWS FANS BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF HIS ‘FIRE AWAY’ VIDEO.

Chris Stapleton’s powerful “Fire Away” video is used as a conduit to help bring mental health awareness to light. In the video, a young couple battle with the woman’s mental issues until it finally drives her to commit suicide.

“[The idea for the video] was just a notion, and then it became real and useful and something that can hopefully make the world a better place,” says Chris. “The song is kinda about loving somebody unconditionally through not so easy times. The concept of the video kind of came to me as that would be the hardest possible space in which to love somebody. I’ve been a huge fan of Ben’s [Foster] for a long time and so we tried to track him down and he was kind enough to take the phone call. And then it kind of grew from there,” says Chris. “It was just a notion, and then it became real and useful and something that can hopefully make the world a better place.”

Chris first came up with the “notion” when he was trying to figure out an idea for a music video, and then he wanted real actors to be in the clip…so that led to Ben Foster (Lone Survivor, Six Feet Under) and Margarita Levieva (The Blacklist, Revenge) (pr. Le-vee-va) coming on board and then bringing on ChangeDirection.org.

“It’s a subject matter that is very close to me and means a lot to me, and to be able to tell that story and to share it with so many people and to bring that character to life for me was tremendously important,” says Margarita. “So, as soon as I heard the whole outline and how we were going to shoot it and the story that we’re going to tell, I was immediately drawn and really looking forward to doing it.”

Check out the behind-the-scenes of the video and interviews with its stars, as well as director Tim Mattia and President of Change Direction, Dr. Barbara Van Dahlen below.

Chris is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Parachute,” a song from his award-winning album, Traveller.

It is also Urban’s fifth No. 1 album.

“The 15 months that I spent recording RIPCORD, was one of the most incredible musical journeys I’ve ever had,” said Urban.  “Working with some of the most creative, and inspiring musicians to explore and expand my music in the studio was exhilarating. RIPCORD has already produced Urban’s 19th (“John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”) and 20th (“Break On Me”) No. 1 songs.  His latest, “Wasted Time,” has given Urban his 36th consecutive Top 10 song.  It extends his record-breaking streak as the artist with the most consecutive top 10 songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart – a streak that began back in August of 2000.

  • KEITH URBAN’S ‘RIPCORD’ BOWS AT NO. 1 ON THE COUNTRY ALBUM CHART.

Keith Urban’s Ripcord album has debuted at the top of the country album chart. The record, which was released May 6th, sold 106,000 copies to land at No. 1 on the country chart.

A few of the songs on the album changed from how they were written or recorded when he first started the recording process. “It’s always an unknown thing for me. Get in the studio and a lot of it’s born, of course the song first and foremost, what the song wants, if the song’s a mannequin and how are we going to dress it. You can overdo, you can underdo it and it can change the song drastically, too,” says Keith. “I find recording a funny thing because you’re capturing a song in a particular form, but that is not mean to be the be all and end all of that song. That’s just one form of it… But for me getting in the studio is always, it’s fun. It’s like a sandbox for me. It has its share of frustration and all of it, but it has unlimited potential. That’s what excites me a lot.”

Ripcord features his current single, “Wasted Time,” as well as two previous chart-toppers, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and “Break on Me.”

Keith is preparing to hit the road on his ripcord World Tour 2016 June 2nd in Kansas City, Missouri. He’s taking Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris along for the ride.

That’s just one form of it. It will be like meeting someone one day in their life and thinking that you’ve met them for what they are their entire life. It’s just, no, that was just one day. You only met them one day and recorded songs live on forever as just that one day’s representation of the song. But for me getting in the studio is always, it’s fun. It’s like a sandbox for me. Keith Urban (releasing 3 singles before album) OC: …the puzzle. :21
“I’ve never had that happen in my life where we’ve got the third single out before the album comes out. But what those two songs did, what ‘John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16’ did and what ‘Break on Me’ did was it helped me see what the record was trying to be. So, when I was narrowing all the songs down to get to 13, it helped a lot. For me, ‘Wasted Time’ was the last missing piece of the puzzle.”

  • BILLY CURRINGTON’S FAVORITE SURF BOARD IS A PADDLE BOARD.

As everyone knows, Billy Currington is a big surfer. However, he doesn’t use the traditional kind of surf board. Instead, he prefers to use a paddle board for his favorite hobby.

“I’m a big fan of paddle boarding. It’s basically the only way I surf now. I used to lay down surf, and I still will now and then, but it’s just not as fun to me as paddle boarding,” he says. “A lot of people will take stand up paddle boards and they’ll basically cruise lakes. They’ll take a paddle and just cruise lakes all day and get great exercise, even in the ocean. But for me, I’ll use it to surf. I’ll paddle out to the waves and catch waves with it. It’s my favorite way to surf.”

I was looking for those songs that I felt like that would be different for me that or things that I hadn’t done really yet, but still had those Josh Turner ingredients, which is basically a lyric that tells a story that has a good message and just has a melody that caters to my voice. It had all that, and so it was just kind of a no-brainer.”
