• KEITH URBAN AND VINCE GILL ANNOUNCE THE SPECIAL GUESTS AT THIS YEAR’S ALL FOR THE HALL.

Keith Urban and Vince Gill have announced their sixth annual All for the Hall, a benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The two will headline the event, which will take place April 12th at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

The show’s theme is Mashville: The Music City in 2016, and it’ll feature performances by the show’s headliners, as well as Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Peter Frampton, Jason Isbell, Emmylou Harris, Maddie and Tae and Maren Morris.

Nashville has become a dynamic and diverse musical melting pot,” Keith said about this year’s theme in a prepared statement. “While it remains the home of country music, an unbelievably talented community of songwriters, producers, instrumentalists, singers, bands and solo artists are rapidly changing the entire musical landscape in Music City, U.S.A.”

Audio / Keith Urban says the one challenge of his All for the Hall concert benefitting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is who he’s going to invite to perform during the show.

“It’s a labor of love in the best way. It really is. If I said there’s only one challenge with it, it’s condensing the guest list. It was, right from the beginning, it was like trying to put a wedding list together and which family member to invite. You have to either invite everybody or elope, right? But we’ve only got limited time and it’s very, very hard to have certain people who are very good friends of mine say, ‘What the…? What the…? Waiting for the call. Nothing.’ So, I thought how do I get around this problem? And then the idea of themes came up so at least there’s some type of criteria for me to put a guest list together. Otherwise, this show would be days and days long if I invited everybody I wanted. We get to do it every year, so I have a huge list of people I want to be able to invite over the years.”

  • DIERKS, VINCE AND CHARLES GET A CHANCE TO COACH IN THE NHL.

Dierks Bentley, as you may know, is a huge hockey fan and has skated in a local Nashville league for several years. He, along with Vince Gill, Charles Kelley and Chris Young, will serve as celebrity coaches for the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Game at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena January 31ST.  The game will air live at 5pm ET on NBCSN, CBC and TVA Sports.

The country stars will join NHL head coaches Gerard Gallant of the Florida Panthers, Lindy Ruff of the Dallas Stars, Darryl Sutter of the Los Angeles Kings and Barry Trotz of the Washington Capitals behind the bench.

The All-Stars will take part in a three-game tournament, played in a 3-on-3 format, and featuring teams representing each NHL division. This marks the first time Nashville and the NHL’s Predators have hosted the NHL All-Star festivities.

Vince has also been tasked with some extra duties, by performing the National Anthem prior to the game.

But before Dierks puts on his coaching hat, he’s spending time at the beach this weekend, living out his new single “Somewhere on a Beach.” He’s performing during Luke Bryan’s second annual Crash My Playa event in Riviera Maya, Mexico, along with Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge and Craig Campbell.

“If you’ve ever played it, like you get done and you lie in the house at night and your ribcage hurts from over-expanding it, ‘cause you breathe so hard, ‘cause you’re having so much fun. You think that you’re dying, but you keep going ‘cause you’re having so much fun. So, literally the bones ache from being like stretched out because you breathe so deeply. It’s just fun, man. It’s just that camaraderie of the guys. One of the periods, I really excel in the fourth period. I do good work in periods one, two and three, but the fourth period over at the Brewhouse or Sam’s Club, I’m a good team player there. It’s one of my favorite parts of the game. I just love playing it. It’s just totally opposite from the road.”

  • DARIUS RUCKER GIVES HIS PICKS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S NFL PLAYOFF GAMES.

As you probably know by now, Darius Rucker is a HUGE football fan – college and NFL. He cheers loudest for his South Carolina Gamecocks and the Miami Dolphins. The man is the commissioner of a handful of fantasy football leagues, and his “man cave” at the house in Charleston, South Carolina is full of televisions playing nothing but football. So, we know he’s a professional when it comes to picking the winners of this weekend’s games.

“I think the Panthers are gonna win. That home field advantage is huge, and I just think their defense is playing so well right now. I think it’s gonna be a high scoring game, but I think the Panthers are gonna do enough to outlast the Cardinals…the other game is a lot harder. I think, it’s hard to go against Tom Brady. It’s hard to go against Bill Belichick,” says Darius. “I think Belichick’s one of the two greatest coaches in NFL history, and Brady’s probably one of the four best quarterbacks to ever play…and so to go against them is hard, but I love Peyton, and Denver’s got like an all-time great defense. There’s no place on their defense that is not great. Like I said, it’s hard to go against Brady and Belichick, so I’m gonna go with the Patriots. I think it’s gonna be Patriots-Panthers for the championship.”

Darius just announced his Good For a Good Time Tour, which will kick off June 3rd in Tampa, Florida. They go on sale January 29th.

Rucker plans to once again provide his concerts as a platform to honor and present homes to our nation’s combat wounded heroes and Gold Star spouses, in conjunction with Project Rebuild. The Project Rebuild campaign arose from a partnership between Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Military Warriors Support Foundation to assist in rebuilding the lives of our wounded veterans. Project Rebuild helps place wounded veterans in mortgage-free homes and help ease the transition back to civilian life.

Kicking off April 22nd in Dublin,  Moore’s return to Europe follows a triumphant visit earlier last year where he stunned crowds at the O2 Arena in London ending his set with a poignant cover of native band Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back In Anger” with Rolling Stone revealing that the “highlight arrived toward the end of the song, when he took out his inner-ear monitors and led the 20,000-capacity through a singalong of the final chorus.” Moore’s shows in Europe will come hot on the heels of his first dates scheduled in Australia. For a full list of tour dates and more information visit www.kipmoore.net.
“I was blown away by the warmth and passion of the crowds when we played Europe last year,” said Moore.  “It felt like we were playing for old friends and I knew that I wanted to go back as soon as I could.  And we’re taking it a bit further, well a whole lot further, when we go to Australia for the first time.  This whole journey started for me by getting out on the road and building fans one by one, so to be able to bring our show to some new places this year is really exciting.”WILD ONES TOUR INTERNATIONAL DATES:

The members of Brothers Osborne are closing in on the top spot on the country charts with their single, “Stay a Little Longer,” and the tune just earned the duo their first gold record for sales of more than 500-thousand. They were presented with the plaque during their appearance on NBC’s Today show Tuesday morning (January 19th). See the video of their interview here.

The song starts off sweetly, but ends with a scorching guitar solo, all of which showcase the brothers’ many musical facets. “With this kind of natural flow of it being this kind of almost sad, kind of balladish kind of feeling song in the verses, and then it kind of ramps up by the time you’re in the choruses,” says TJ Osborne. “It gives it an almost like a party vibe to it, and then it ends with this wailing guitar solo in it. For us, it does represent all these different things we do.”

“Stay a Little Longer” is from their debut album, Pawn Shop, which was released on Friday (January 15th).

The guys are nominated for a GRAMMY in the Best Country Duo/Group category for their hit single, “Stay a Little Longer.” The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles February 15th at 8pm ET on CBS.

  • DIERKS BENTLEY ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE AND TOUR.

After announcing his eighth studio album BLACK, set for release in early 2016, Dierks Bentley ignites country radio today with the album’s lead single “Somewhere On A Beach.” The multi-PLATINUM entertainer also announced today that the US leg of his 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR will begin on May 12th in Holmdel, NJ at the PNC Bank Arts Center with Randy Houser and special guest Cam. Fans can purchase tickets beginning January 29th for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com.

“This album is about ALL phases of a relationship, including the breakups,” said Bentley. ”’Beach’ is a pretty blunt take on that wild rebound we’ve all had or maybe imagined having. The carefree attitude is exactly the spirit we wanted to bring out on the road this year. I’ve toured with Randy before, and he’s just a great dude – on stage and backstage. And I’ve gotten to know Cam a little over the last year, and she’s fun as hell too and so talented. It’s going to be a big summer for sure.”

While BLACK sets a new artistic course, it’s “Somewhere On A Beach” that first breaches the candid message of the highs and lows romantic relationships face. Fans can tune-in to begin the journey today (1/19) with Bentley’s first performance of the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (check local listings).

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.

Since moving from Phoenix to Nashville in the 1990s, Bentley has established his own artistic trail in country music. Instead of rehashing proven formulas, he’s doggedly reinvented his sound and subsequently developed an uncommon mix of commercial success and critical respect. RISER debuted at #1 on the Billboard country album chart, and its trio of chart-topping singles upped his career tally to 13 No one. songs as a songwriter and artist. He’s now amassed 13 GRAMMY nominations and dozens of other award show nominations. Additionally, Bentley has been a Grand Ole Opry member for over a decade and will co-host the 51st Annual ACM Awards this April on CBS. I’ve cut a bunch of songs, and I feel like we’ve got a really great record going, a great theme throughout the album. But I just wanted to come with a song first that I felt like would really get things going, something that everyone could relate to and everyone can have a few drinks to and just something that’s gonna be great for our tour this summer. And it came down to this song, man, ‘Somewhere on a Beach.’ It just feels like the perfect first single for this project.”

Reality rings true in most of Eric Paslay’s songs, even down to the little details like what boots he wears. In his latest single, “High Class,” he sings, “Keepin’ my shades on inside/All dressed in black/Escalade these Luccheses/Yeah baby Cattle up this ‘lac,” and Eric says he’s been wearing Lucchese boots for years.

“I always wear Lucchese boots. I’m from Texas, and they’re made in El Paso, and I love the craftsmanship of ‘em and how they’re made, and how people have worn boots forever,” he says. “And you can re-sole them and reuse them as long as you don’t tear ‘em up too much on the uppers.”
