  • JON PARDI WILL BE FEATURED ON AN UPCOMING EPISODE OF ‘THE BACHELORETTE.’ (PRESS RELEASE AND AUDIO)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Capitol recording artist Jon Pardi will be featured on an upcoming episode of The Bachelorette. The episode will feature Jon performing his song “Happens all the Time” at Mohegan Sun’s Mist, during a one-on-one date with one lucky suitor and the newest Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman. The episode is scheduled to air Monday (June 2nd) at 8pm ET on ABC.

Andi Dorfman, 27, a beautiful and successful woman, has it all at first glance — a loving family, great friends and even her dream job. But she realized there was something missing, so she put her busy life on hold last September to try and find love on The Bachelor. She thought she had found her match in Juan Pablo, but in the end it was not meant to be, and Andi walked away. She did not, however, walk away from love or let that experience stop her desire to find her perfect soul mate. Follow Andi’s search for her soul mate in the 10th edition of The Bachelorette Mondays (8:00–10:01 p.m., ET) on ABC.

    ABOUT JON PARDI
California native and Capitol Records rising country star Jon Pardi released his debut album, Write You A Song, on Jan. 14, 2014.  The release features the Gold-selling Top 10 hit, “Up All Night,” along with “Happens All The Time,” “Missin’ You Crazy” and his current catchy, relatable tune, “What I Can’t Put Down.”  Pardi has a laid back, fun-loving approach towards life and it comes through in his music and his raucous live show.  His charisma and authenticity strike a chord with county audiences, as he wins over fans one-by-one and show-by-show. He is now selling out venues from the Pacific Northwest to South Georgia and stops all along the way.

Pardi’s sound is undeniably country — paying homage to some of his musical heroes such as Dwight Yoakam, George Strait and Alan Jackson.  Discovering his ability for performance back at the tender age of three when he sang ALABAMA karaoke with his grandmother, Pardi has since shared the stage with Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and many more of today’s hottest country artists.

Jon Pardi (The Bachelorette) OC: …pretty cool. :34
“It was actually a lot of fun. The people who run the show are really cool; they do a really good job, and we had a blast playing. It was a lot fun. It was at a casino, and it had this really cool backdrop that the guys had scouted out. It was like this big waterfall kind of looking thing, and it looked really cool. Actually, the director said it was the best band performance he had ever taped. They danced along and they danced again, and we played ‘Happens All The Time,’n and that’s like the most countriest song pretty much that’s ever gonna be on The Bachelorette [laughs] I think, so it was pretty cool.”

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN PREPS THEIR NEW SINGLE, ‘DAY DRINKING.’ (PRESS RELEASE AND AUDIO)

NASHVILLE, TN – MAY 27, 2014 – GRAMMY award winning group Little Big Town preps for the release of the debut single “Day Drinking” off of their upcoming sixth studio album on Capitol Records Nashville. The record will be available for download June 3rd, landing at Country Radio at 6am ET that morning and officially going for adds on June 9th.

“Day Drinking,” written by Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet and co-writers Barry Dean and Troy Verges, was produced by Jay Joyce and features Fairchild on lead vocals.

“We are so excited to finally be putting out our new single ‘Day Drinking,’” says Jimi. “It’s the first song off of our new album which will be coming out in the fall. We wrote this with our buddies Barry Dean and Troy Verges and had such a good time writing that day that it seemed to carry over into the spirit of the song. It makes me think about those summer days when all that’s on the agenda is hanging out, relaxing, and having a good time with friends. So, if that’s your plan, here’s your song! ‘Why don’t we do a little day drinking?’”

Little Big Town returned to Watertown, Tennessee, the location of their award-winning video for No. 1 hit “Tornado,” to film a teaser video for the new single and the forthcoming album. The video can be viewed below or at littlebigtown.com.

CMT recently announced Little Big Town as performers on the 2014 CMT MUSIC AWARDS airing LIVE on CMT Wednesday, June 4th at 8pm ET.  This will be the television debut performance of “Day Drinking.” The foursome is also nominated for Group Video of the Year for “Your Side of the Bed” at the telecast.

AUDIO: The members of Little Big Town are so excited about their new single, “Day Drinking,” which hits radio next week.

LBT (Day Drinking) 1 OC: …record goes. :52
KAREN: “We wrote ‘Day Drinking,’ gosh, how many months ago?” JIMI: “It was probably close to a year ago.” KIMBERLY: “Yeah, close to a year.” KAREN: “We, I don’t know, it’s just like so much fun, and then we thought this is going to lead the record. I mean, we, just right off the bat, we thought this song should lead the record. We were that confident about it. Then when we were making the record with Jay [Joyce], it still felt like it should lead the record. We were trying not to talk about it too much, because we thought we’ve got to see how it all plays out.” JIMI: “We were excited. [laughs]” KAREN: “And the reason why it needs to lead the record is it’s fun; it’s…” (JIMI: “It’s bold.”) “…bold, it’s loud. You should turn this one up loud, and you should turn the whole record up loud and have a good time. It is a good indication of where the whole record goes.”
