Priscilla Block has hit the Top 15 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase country chart with “Just About Over You,” a song she co-wrote with Emily Kroll and Sarah Jones about running into her ex-boyfriend at a local Nashville watering hole.
“’Just About Over You’ is Top 15 on country radio,” says the North Carolina native. “What is my life? I am so thankful to country radio, and ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a song on the radio, and it’s just so cool getting in and you know hoping I’m going to be able to hear it. This year has been absolutely wild for me, and I’m just so thankful for the fans. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do this.”
Before signing with Mercury Nashville, Priscilla released “Just About Over You” independently with only the support of her dedicated fanbase who rallied together to finance the recording after hearing Priscilla sing the song on her socials. Priscilla, astounded by the response, then saw the song shoot to the top of the iTunes all-genre song chart within 12 hours of its release.
Named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2021, Priscilla is currently on the road with Ashley McBryde on her This Town Talks Tour. Check Priscilla’s website, priscillablock.com, for more tour information.
