Priscilla Block got a little “wasted” at her elementary school talent show, that is, she sang Carrie Underwood’s 2007 hit song “Wasted.” While all the other kids were performing children songs, Priscilla got sassy with her performance.

“So, I started doing talent shows in elementary school, just ‘cause all of my friends were doing it, whatever,” says Priscilla. “And my first talent show, I think I was in second grade and I sang – I’ve been a trainwreck since day one (laughs) honestly. I sang ‘Wasted’ by Carrie Underwood for like my third grade talent show. And I remember my friends’ parents were like, is she? They’re singing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ and I’m singing ‘Wasted’ by Carrie Underwood. (laughs) It was just, oh my gosh, yup, that was me.”

Priscilla is not “wasting” any of her time. After paying her dues by singing anywhere she could and now with a solid country music career going, she’s currently sitting inside the Top 20 on the country charts with “Just About Over You.”
