On this date (January 11th) in 1983, Reba McEntire scored her first No. 1 hit with “Can’t Even Get the Blues,” which was included on her Unlimited album for Polygram/Mercury Records. “It was just something different. Before that song I was kind of the queen of waltzes,” she says.
The song is also included on her recent three-album box set, Revised, Remixed, Revisited, which was released in October.
Reba is set to hit the road for her REBA: LIVE IN CONCERT tour, kicking off this Thursday (January 13th) in Evansville, Indiana.
