Sam Hunt releases new song “Women In My Life” today. Written by Hunt with Zach Crowell, Ashley Gorley, and Josh Osborne, the heartfelt track pays homage to the important women in his life who have helped shape him into the person he is today, just in time for Mother’s Day
“So much of the peace and joy I carry around as an adult comes from the women who raised me and poured love into my life throughout it,” shares Hunt. “There’s no telling who or what I would be without them. God bless them all. I’m forever grateful.”

“Women In My Life” Lyrics
I wouldn’t know a house from a loving home
10:30 sharp from the crack of dawn
Where the forks go, how find the book of Psalms
Good cobbler peaches
I wouldn’t sing Aretha or rake the leaves
Watch my mouth in mixed company
Probably wouldn’t put up a Christmas tree
And spoil all my nieces
Some are here, some are gone
Some were mine all summer long
Solid as a rock, rolling like a stone
In and out my door
I can drive a stick, I can drive a nail
Hold down a job, fend for myself
Yeah, I’d be alive but not much more
If it wasn’t for, if it wasn’t for
All of the women in my life
I wouldn’t know 7:30’s more like 8
How to hold my horses on a second date
And how to hold to a pair of two’s like a royal straight
‘Til she calls your bluff
I wouldn’t know that young love ain’t all smiles
Grocery stores have flower aisles
I’d have twice the money and half the miles
On this old truck
Some are here, some are gone
Some were mine all summer long
Solid as a rock, rolling like a stone
In and out my door
I can drive a stick, I can drive a nail
Hold down a job, fend for myself
Yeah, I’d be alive but not much more
If it wasn’t for, if it wasn’t for
All of the women in my life
I’d still be a stupid boy, out on the run
Not half the man that I’ve become
I wouldn’t know how to know you were the one
If it wasn’t for, if it wasn’t for
All of the women in my life
Some are here, some are gone
Some were mine all summer long
Solid as a rock, rolling like a stone
In and out my door
I can drive a stick, I can drive a nail
Hold down a job, fend for myself
Yeah, I’d be alive but not much more
If it wasn’t for, if it wasn’t for
All of the women in my life
All of the women in my life
