Scotty McCreery returns to the American Idol stage tomorrow, Thursday (May 15th) to perform his latest single, “Feelin’ It,” LIVE on FOX at 9pm ET. Scotty took home first place on American Idol Season 10, which landed him a recording contract with Mercury Nashville / 19 / Interscope Records. Since his 2011 Platinum-selling debut, Clear As Day, he’s become one of country music’s hottest new stars and earned Best New Artist recognition from the Academy of Country Music, American Country Awards and CMT Music Awards.
Scotty says his days on American Idol laid the foundation for his success, especially with his fans, who he says are the reason he’s got a career. “A lot of artists say thanks to the fans and ‘you’re the reason I’m here,’ but for me, it’s literal because they voted me through (American Idol), they’ve been with me since then,” says Scotty. “They’ve helped make the album platinum, the album gold, come to my concerts. In a sense, I really owe all this to them. They’ve really kind of helped make me who I am.”
In October 2013, the North Carolina native launched his second consecutive No. 1-debuting album with sophomore release, See You Tonight. See You Tonight’s Top 10 title track marks his third RIAA Gold-certified single and first as a writer. On the album, Scotty continues to showcase his bass voice while perfectly blending contemporary and traditional country to create an irresistible sound unique to the young college student.
He’s currently criss-crossing the country on his See You Tonight Tour. For more information, visit www.ScottyMcCreery.com.

“My fans are incredible. I tell them that every night on stage, and a lot of artists say thanks to the fans and ‘you’re the reason I’m here,’ but for me, it’s literal because they voted me through (American Idol), they’ve been with me since then. They’ve helped make the album platinum, the album gold, come to my concerts. In a sense, I really owe all this to them. They’ve really kind of helped make me who I am. I enjoy the chance to go out there and make music for them. I enjoy going out there to sing a concert for them. The biggest thing for me is when I look out and see the fans and they’re smiling, having a good time. Dancing, singing the songs back to us.”
