SHANIA TWAIN RETURNS TO CANADA TO PERFORM. (PRESS RELEASE)

 

Calgary (Alberta) January 16, 2014 – The Calgary Stampede and Stampede Concerts Inc. are thrilled to kick off 2014 with the first announcement of the Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series. Performing her first show outside Las Vegas and the only Canadian show in 2014, Shania Twain will take the Scotiabank Saddledome stage Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

An amazing and accomplished singer and songwriter, Twain is a phenomenon. With more than 75 million albums sold worldwide, she is the top-selling female country artist of all time; has multi-platinum album sales in 32 countries; has the eighth-biggest selling album of all time in the U.S. and 18 top 10 songs, eight of which reached number1.
 
Tickets, for what is expected to be a sold out show, go on sale to the public on Friday, January 24th at 10 a.m. and start at $79 (plus applicable fees). Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, via phone at 1.855.985.5000 and at www.ticketmaster.ca.
 
Virgin Mobile will be offering its Members exclusive priority access to tickets for the show. Members can go to virginmobile.ca/benefits for details on the pre-sale, which runs from Tuesday, January 21 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, January 23 at 10 p.m. Calgary Stampede Insiders also have an opportunity to pre-purchase tickets from Wednesday January 22 at 10:00 a.m. until Thursday, January 23 at 10 p.m.
