Travis Denning just hit the top of both the Country Aircheck and Billboard country charts FOR THE FIRST TIME with his song, “After a Few.” Travis co-wrote the tune with Kelly Archer and Justin Weaver, and it’s an all too relatable song that tells the tale of an old flame coming back into his life with the help of a few drinks.
Travis says everyone can relate to the song’s message. “I think this song really is just about that story that a lot of people can relate to,” says Travis. “Being attracted to someone that probably logically in your head is not good, but something in your heart keeps taking you back.”
Celebrated last night with the hometown boys. After A Few is the #1 song on country radio. So damn grateful. Love y’all. pic.twitter.com/QX8tFeTPuX

“I think this song really is just about that story that a lot of people can relate to – being attracted to someone that probably logically in your head is not real, but something in your heart keeps taking you back. I mean I know that’s a subject we talk about all the time, but we do it because it’s real.”
