Download“When I first moved, I didn’t know anybody, I didn’t know anything, so I was just like trying to mingle. I was door dashing. I was, I got a job down at FGL House when it was FGL House before. Now it’s Laney’s Bar. But I worked there for a week serving food and I was like, this is not what I moved to Nashville for. So I quit, started door dashing, but a lot of it was just mingling and meeting people. And then two years ago, I was writing every single day because I had my publishing deal at that point, about a year into moving. I signed to Backblocks Music, or Backblocks Publishing, I should say. Yeah, so I was just writing every single day, sometimes even twice a day.”
