After being in labor for 37 hours and having to undergo an emergency C-section, Maddie Font and her husband Jonah Font welcomed their first child — a boy — on Saturday (September 9th). Posting on Instagram on Monday (September 11th), Maddie revealed photos of son Forrest Henry Font, who weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 oz.
“After 37 hard hours of labor, finally getting to push, and ending up having an emergency c section and being put under, Forrest Henry Font made his debut. 🤍 Thank you to our incredible medical team at St Thomas Midtown for taking incredible care of us and making a really scary experience as calm and comfortable as possible for our little family. Forrest is everything Jonah and I could’ve ever dreamed of, and we’d go through it all over again for him 🥹 Thank you Lord for the gift of this perfect boy and this magical time. We are so in love.”
The other half of the duo, Taylor (Dye) Kerr, commented on Maddie’s post, writing, “PERFECT ANGEL!!!! I love him so much! Way to go mom and dad!” Tae is mother to daughter Leighton Grace, who arrived on January 17th, 2022.
The duo just released their new single, “Heart They Didn’t Break.”
Luke Bryan kicks off his 14th FARM TOUR on Thursday (September 14th) at Mulberry Orchard in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The Georgia native will set up stages in the fields of local farms through September 23rd.
The five-time Entertainer of the Year keeps putting on his annual Farm Tour for several reasons, including giving out scholarships and helping people feed others.
“The beauty of Farm Tour is we’re out there on the farm. We’re helping people feed Americans. We’re giving out scholarships,” says Luke. “You’ve got 20,000 people piling into an alfalfa field, corn field, hay field, it doesn’t matter. It’s a field. But when you put that many people out there in the Fall where the temps are kinda getting a little cool at night, nothing is more special than Farm Tour and that’s why I keep doing it year after year.”

9/21 Colfax, IA Schnell Family Farms

Continuing a partnership that began in 2015, Bayer, one of the world’s leading life sciences companies, is once again joining the tour as presenting sponsor and teaming up with Luke to help honor America’s farmers for providing us with access to critical health and nutrition through its #HerestotheFarmer campaign. The campaign supports Bayer’s vision of Health for All, Hunger for None and asks fans to join in by using #HerestotheFarmer on their social media channels now through November 30, 2023. As part of the initiative, Bayer will donate 1 million meals to people in need through Feeding America®. Since the partnership’s inception, 6 million meals have been donated and more than $180,000 has gone to Feeding America member food banks and local farmers at each of the tour cities.
Since 2009 when the Farm Tour began Luke has granted 78 college scholarships to students from farming families to their local college or university near the tour stops. Over the years event sponsors have donated money, food and resources to the local communities and also nationally. Last year alone Bayer provided one million meals to Feeding America®, Farmland® donated a truckload of protein to local foodbanks in each of the states that hosted the tour and also donated $9,000 to each state’s FFA Association, and Fendt donated $25,000 to the national FFA organization.
Luke is knocking on the door of Top 10 on the country charts with his latest single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.”

Country music superstar Luke Bryan wrapped his summer shows at Resorts World Las Vegas on Saturday night. Since February 2022 “Luke Bryan: VEGAS” has been praised by fans and media critics alike. Each performance features only-in-Las Vegas production elements, including a shifting stage that seamlessly lifts Luke and his band to the rhythms of his hit songs as well as a catwalk that descends from the ceiling and elevates Bryan to eye-level with audience members in the mezzanine.
Luke will close out his record-breaking headline engagement with six final Las Vegas shows:
Dierks Bentley continued to prove why he is a “Country music staple,” (Esquire) wrapping the Gravel & GoldTour with two nights at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. The tour follows his acclaimed tenth studio album of the same name, released in February, that Rolling Stone hailed for its “mix that spans contemporary country, classic sounds, bluegrass, and Southern rock.”
On night one of Red Rocks–Tuesday, September 5th–Bentley welcomed special guests Harper O’Neill, The Red Clay Strays, and Ashley McBryde. Bentley invited Red Clay Strays’ vocalists Brandon Coleman and Drew Nix back to the stage for a special cover of Waylon Jennings’ “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean.” McBryde also made a second appearance, performing their honky-tonk duet “Cowboy Boots.” Night two (Wednesday, Sept. 6) saw opening performances from Tanner Usrey, Kaitlin Butts, and Colorado mainstays The Infamous Stringdusters, who later joined Bentley for a rendition of bluegrass standard “Rovin’ Gambler.” During both nights, Bentley played a discography mix of old and new, including fan favorites from Gravel & Gold, “Gold,” “Something Real,” and the ever-fitting “Sun Sets in Colorado.”
“I’m always trying to create a rollercoaster that I get to ride on, not just the fans. The second I walk on stage, I don’t want to have to work anymore. I want to have fun. And that’s why I spend months rehearsing this show over and over and over and over and over and over,” Bentley recently told CMT. “I don’t have to rehearse anymore. I step on the escalator, and it’s going to take me exactly where I want to go–the fans. And this one, I think, does it better than ever.”
Since kicking off in June, the Gravel & Gold Tour has traveled to notable venues across the country and featured a multitude of special guests including Jordan Davis, Elle King, Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Braden, Caylee Hammack, Kameron Marlowe, Caitlyn Smith, Hailey Whitters, The Cadillac Three, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Shane Smith & The Saints and Bentley’s own Hot Country Knights.
Dierks is making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Something Real.”
Jon Langston releases his debut album, Heart On Ice, today (September 8th). Infusing Jon’s country-radio roots with a fresh electricity, the project tracks his evolution, weaving a bold sense of maturitythrough its 14 songs.
Produced by Jody Stevens – along with Jacob Rice and Brad Wagner on select tracks – Langston co-wrote 11 songs from the album, including the poignant tribute to his grandfather, “Granddaddy’s Watch” and “May Magnolia,” dedicated to his daughter. He taps Travis Denning for the rowdy chest pounder “I ain’t Country,” turns up the heat with good-time track “Day In the 90’s,” and showcases his knack for a romantic hook on songs like “Ain’t No Cowboy.”
The Georgia native says making his album was a therapeutic process for him. “To be able to record this album, to be able to put these songs together was very therapeutic for me, not just going through life putting my heart on ice, but actually making this album was putting my heart on ice,” says Jon. “It helped me get through those struggles and through those mental barriers and walls that I had to overcome, and it really helped me through my life and helped me through those situations. Music is healing. Music is my medicine – I’ve got that tattooed on my arm – and it always will be. I’m just thankful I have music to be my outlet.”

Jon Langston (Heart On Ice theme of album) OC: …to that theme. :13 “’Heart On Ice’ was the missing puzzle piece to my debut album. I never thought my debut album would be a concept album, but this ‘Heart On Ice’ is the theme of my album and every song relates to that theme.”
Audio / Jon Langston talks about how recording his new album, Heart On Ice, was very therapeutic for him.

Chris Stapleton’s new song, “Think I’m In Love With You,” is debuting today. Listen/share HERE. Written by Stapleton, the song is the second unveiled from his highly anticipated new album, Higher, which will be released November 10th on Mercury Nashville (pre-order/pre-save).
The new music adds to yet another landmark year for the 15x CMA Award-winner, who is nominated for three more awards at this year’s 57th Annual CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year (“We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Carly Pearce). The awards ceremony will be broadcast live from Nashville on ABC Wednesday, November 8 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT.
Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton and Chris Stapleton, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A and showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility across 14 songs that defy genre. Already receiving critical attention, Stapleton recently unveiled lead single, “White Horse,” of which Billboard praises “a hell-raising anthem, meant to be blared with windows down and enjoyed with ears ringing. ‘White Horse’ finds Stapleton pairing an outlaw swagger with some heaven-scraping vocals, going for the gusto throughout the chorus to try and match the guitar snarl.” Additionally, Consequence declares, “‘White Horse’ certainly suggests that Stapleton is leaning into his strengths as a cross-genre act” and Brooklyn Vegan proclaims, “one of the most jaw-dropping singles yet from an artist who rarely if ever misses.”
Alongside Stapleton (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, slide electric guitar), the new album features Cobb (acoustic guitar, eclectic guitar), J.T. Cure (bass), Paul Franklin (pedal steel), Derek Mixon (drums), Morgane (background vocals, synthesizer, tambourine) and Lee Pardini (organ, piano).
Known for his electric live performances, the 8x Grammy, 15x CMA and 15x ACM Award-winner will continue to tour through this fall with his extensive “All-American Road Show” tour. See below for complete itinerary.
One of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians, in the past year Stapleton was named Entertainer of the Year at the 58th ACM Awards—resulting in a prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award—and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards—his sixth time earning the award, setting the record for most wins ever in the category. Additionally, in February, he performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII and has collaborated in recent years with Adele, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Sheryl Crow, Santana and many more.
The new album follows 2020’s acclaimed Starting Over, which went on to win three awards at the 67th Annual GRAMMYs: Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance (“You Should Probably Leave”) and Best Country Song (“Cold”) in addition to earning Album of the Year honors at both the CMA and ACM Awards. Called a “a sure-footed masterpiece” by the Associated Press, the album landed on “Best of 2020” lists at NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Esquire, Vulture, The Tennessean, and The New York Times, who declared, “Chris Stapleton’s roar isn’t designed to scare you off. It’s regal, an announcement of an alpha figure asserting his primacy…on this, his fourth album, the thrill is back.” Prior to Starting Over, Stapleton released a pair of Platinum-certified releases in 2017—From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2—as well as his x5 Platinum breakthrough solo debut album in 2015, Traveller.
In addition to their work as musicians, the Stapletons are founders of the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, which supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart.

Audio / Josh Turner says every one of his albums, as he looks over his Greatest Hits collection, marks life milestones.
Josh Turner (albums mark life milestones) OC: …staggering. :25 “Every album to me just kind of marks these just kind of milestones. It kind of marks certain phases and periods that I went through and different times in my life with family, career, all kinds of different things that we’ve been through and experienced. After a while, when you start looking back and see all the records start piling up and different things that you’ve been able to do through two decades, it’s pretty staggering.”
Audio / Josh Turner talks about going in to record “Your Man.”
Josh Turner (Your Man) 1 OC: …impactful. :57 “This song has just blown my mind, to be completely honest, because it went from early on when I first heard it which was Chris Stapleton and his guitar, and obviously Chris and I have very different voices. So when I heard it, I was thinking I don’t really know if this song works for me or not, but [my producer] Frank [Rogers] really believed in it. He said, ‘Take it home. Try it out. Put it in a different key, whatever. See if you can kind of figure it out.’ So, I did, and I was like, ‘You know, it’d be worth a try.’ So [we] go in the next day and we decided to give it a try, and Steve Henson starts out on the steel guitar intro, and it just sounded great. It fit my voice well, and it was a great addition to the record. It ended up becoming the title track. I just felt like that the album being called Your Man just kind of made a statement, especially being my sophomore record, still trying to prove myself. I just felt like it was just very authoritative and impactful.”
Tyler Hubbard has been working on new music for the past several months, and he’s excited to release his new single, “Back Then Right Now,” the follow-up to two No. 1 singles (“5 Foot 9” and “Dancin’ In The Country”). Tyler co-wrote the tune with Jessie Jo Dillon, Geoff Warburton and David Garcia.
The Georgia native says it was a great day of writing with some of his buddies, and a reminder of the importance of making memories and being present.
“We had that title, and then we just started telling stories and reminiscing and just thought, man, this would be really fun to write,” says Tyler. “Let’s write a nostalgic song that kind of encompasses the heart of being present and living life in the moment and living life to the fullest and the simple things in life, you know, making time to enjoy those things.”
These past few months I’ve been writing a ton of songs and working in the studio. I’m super excited to share all the new music I’ve been workin on but this song is one of my favorites – “Back Then Right Now” is out now. Play it loud y’all. Audio / Tyler Hubbard talks about writing "Back Then Right Now," which focuses on living life to the fullest and being present.
Tyler Hubbard (Back Then Right Now) 1 OC: …from, as well. :47 “It was sort of a typical writing day in Nashville. Three of my good friends and great songwriting buddies – David Garcia, we were actually at his house in his studio, and then Jessie Jo Dillon and Geoff Warburton, and it was actually the first time we’d written together. But we had that title, and then we just started telling stories and reminiscing and just thought, man, this would be really fun to write. Let’s write a nostalgic song that kind of encompasses the heart of being present and living life in the moment and living life to the fullest and the simple things in life, you know, making time to enjoy those things. It was a great day. I think we all kind of needed it, and it was just a reminder of the importance of making memories, being present and kind of where we came from as well.”
