During his New Year’s Eve headlining performance in Nashville, Keith Urban paid tribute to some of the legendary musicians we lost in 2017. He performed an extended medley of songs beginning with Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” honoring lead singer Chris Cornell who committed suicide last Spring. He followed it with songs from Gregg Allman, Don Williams, Glen Campbell, Montgomery Gentry’s Troy Gentry and AC/DC’s Malcolm Young. He wrapped up the medley with Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’,” and during the middle of the song, he brought out wife Nicole Kidman and their two daughters, Sunday and Faith, who danced their way across the stage.
Keith is climbing up the country charts with his song, “Female.”
