Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan is premiering a brand-new single at country radio today, “Country On.” The song, written by Mark Nesler, David Frasier, Mitch Oglesby, and Styles Haury, produced by Jeff Stevens and co-produced by Jody Stevens and featuring Sarah Buxton on background vocals, lands just in time for America’s Independence Day. Luke teases this is the first of more new music he is currently working on. “Country On” is available at all digital retailers HERE.
“I love that the song uplifts the hardworking American people out there, and it brings a lot of unity,” shared Luke. “It just has feel-good vibes all the way around it and anytime you can reference country music fans in a song, and you can really make it feel natural, it’s great. And this song does just that.”
Being the son of an American farmer and growing a few crops of his own, the five-time Entertainer of the Year understands the hard work, blood, sweat and tears it takes, and he says the first line of “Country On” drew him to the song right away.
“When you hear, ‘Hey Farm Boy…’ I mean that certainly spoke to me right off the bat, and the fact that we were able to put so many different aspects of the way, the country American way of life out there, and I felt like this song really, really nailed it,” says Luke. “It was something that really spoke to my heart and being able to put it out in the heart of summer, right against the Fourth of July, I feel it’s gonna talk to, speak to a lot of people out there.”
You can find audio of the song below, as well as audio and liners here on “Country On.”
The release of “Country On” follows Luke’s stellar track record at country radio with 29 career #1 singles and 17.2 Billion worldwide streams.
