Mercury Nashville / Range Music recording artist Luke Grimes has announced he will be releasing an eight-song EP on October 20th, Pain Pills Or Pews. He wrote six of the songs on the Dave Cobb produced project. Fans can now pre-save Pain Pills Or Pews, and on Friday (September 22nd), they’ll be able to download the next track to be released titled “Burn.”

After the release of his debut EP, Grimes will be heading out on the road to bring fans live performances of his songs this fall. Tickets will be on sale at www.lukegrimesmusic.com on Friday (September 22nd) at 10 am local time. Grimes will also be perform for the first time at the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural festival on September 24th in Franklin, Tennessee and he will be returning to Stagecoach in Indio, California in April 2024.

“Out of the ones that we have cut so far, those eight just felt, it felt complete as a thing on its own, and it touched on a lot of the bases of the kinds of things that I wanted to say on this first outing. And there was enough sort of different tempos and different feels, and I think, it just felt kind of complete. We just felt like there are some more songs, and we’ll figure those out later, but this felt like the right thing to sort of come out with now.”
