On Sunday, March 3 at 9:50 a.m. ET, Wilson will make her morning television debut on Fox & Friends’ series ‘Faith & Friends’ with a performance of her Christian radio single “Strong” which is Top 5 and climbing.

Wilson continues to showcase her multifaceted artistry and the faith-infused Country essence that defines REBEL with her Feb. 2 release “God & Country.” As her commanding vocals lead the track that MusicRow dubs a “spectacular show-stopper,” Wilson revisits her Kentucky roots that capture growing up in the heart of the heartland. NEWS AND NOTES: Kacey Musgraves, The War And Treaty, Luke Bryan, Anne Wilson, Josh Ross

Kacey Musgraves has created Etsy shoppable mood boards delving into her upcoming album, Deeper Well, available March 15th. She says, “Etsy is a place I return to for inspiration in many facets of my life, and while making this album I kept saving pieces that I felt like a true reflection of where my head was at aesthetically. Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I find myself in the strangest, coolest Etsy wormholes and I’m always amused at the things I find. I also just love putting money in the pocket of the actual creator. I hope that through this moodboard my fans feel connected to me and my music in a real and intimate way.” This partnership is the beginning of a series of exclusive merch drops on Etsy, curated by Kacey as a reimagined gift shop. Check it out here.

Elements like oak moss, mushroom, saffron, beet root, lavender, clary sage, and raspberry come together to make your space smell like the bottom of a forest in the clouds. It’s a grounded, comforting smell (like a hug from someone you’ve missed) but a bit sweet, airy and fresh (like they just came in from the rain.) The smell of wet stone but also a breeze carrying a subtle scent of dried flowers. Balanced somewhere between feminine and masculine and completely at peace.”

JORDAN DAVIS RELEASES NEW SONG “GOOD NEWS SOLD.”

Jordan Davis has released the new track, “Good News Sold.” Written by Jacob Davis, Cole Taylor, and Jordan Rowe, “Good News Sold” follows Davis’ current hit, “Tucson Too Late.” Reflective of Davis’ ability to capture and perfectly crystallize real-life snapshots, Country Now notes the “Louisiana native has become known for building a catalog of songs about real-life experiences that connect with listeners…from falling in love to starting a family and overcoming challenges to discovering happiness in everyday moments.”

Sharing his inspiration for cutting the song, Davis shares, “I think at times there is no shortage of very heavy headlines locally and globally, and it’s hard sometimes to not get lost in that and spiral into being overwhelmed by them. But when you go home and hear your kid laugh or see someone go out of their way to help a stranger, these acts aren’t being highlighted in the same way but they very much exist.” Adding, “This was sort of that reminder to me when I heard it, and I hope will be for other people, of what’s good in the world and that there is good in the world. It’s a reminder that there are good people, acts of kindness, moments of pay it forward, moments of light and joy.”

Davis has earned six No. 1 hits from his Platinum-selling debut album Home State and his current GOLD-selling album, Bluebird Days. Bluebird Days has earned three multi-week No. 1 singles “Buy Dirt” (4x Platinum), “What My World Spins Around” (2x Platinum), and “Next Thing You Know”(2x Platinum) as well as his current top 15 hit at country radio, “Tucson Too Late.”

In addition to numerous award show nominations including Billboard, AMA, iHeart, ACM and CMA award nominations Davis was nominated for CMA Song of the Year for two consecutive years (2022 & 2023) and a first time ACM Male Vocalist of the Year nomination (2023). Additionally, Davis earned a NSAI and CMA Song of the Year win for “Buy Dirt” (2022) and was selected as ASCAP Songwriter Entertainer of the Year (2023).

His current radio single “Tucson Too Late” reunites the award-winning writing team of “Buy Dirt,” Jordan and Jacob Davis, and fellow brothers Matt and Josh Jenkins. Davis just wrapped his sold-out international run of his DAMN GOOD TIME Arena tour and next returns to headline in U.S. and Canada for additional tour dates in April. Jordan Davis (Good News Sold) OC: …in the future. :25
“‘Good News Sold’ was a song that came to me a couple of years ago, I think, kind of at a time where every time I turned the TV on or opened my phone, it was bad news, something I didn’t want to read or see. And I honestly think that there’s great news out there every day, and unfortunately, we just have to dig a little deeper to find it. ‘Good News Sold’ is my hope that good news will turn around here in the future.”

Kylie Morgan (Two Night Stands) OC: …10 years now. :46
“So the idea behind my song, ‘Two Night Stands,’ actually comes from a two-part story. The first part comes from when I was on the road with Old Dominion this past fall, and my childhood best friend came out to support me one weekend. She is always such a good sport with letting me draw inspiration from her life. So, she told me she had a song idea for me, and she wanted me to write about the fact that every time she goes to a guy’s house, she knows they’re single, because they only have one night stand, aka there’s nowhere for her to charge her phone. (laughs) So, that was the original idea of ‘Two Night Stands.’ And then the second idea was the fact that there’s a little piece of honesty from Jay and I’s story – my husband – and that’s the fact that it was definitely just supposed to be a one-night stand, was not planning on being in a relationship or anything like that, and obviously, turned into a lot more and we’ve been together for almost 10 years now.”

DIERKS BENTLEY DROPS HIS TAKE OF THE TOM PETTY CLASSIC “AMERICAN GIRL.”

Dierks Bentley has released his take on the Tom Petty classic, “American Girl.” The free-spirited, bluegrass-tinged track officially impacts country radio today (via Big Machine Records/The Valory Music Co.) and is from the forthcoming Tom Petty tribute album, Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty to be released by Big Machine in partnership with the Tom Petty Estate. The album brings together the top Country and Americana artists to create a tribute to Petty’s musical legacy.

Of the song, Bentley shares, “Petty’s southern roots shined through across his songwriting and storytelling. He might not have ever been considered as country, but you can’t go into a bar in Nashville without hearing this song. It is one of the greatest songs in a life’s work of great American songs. The spirit of this woman, the idea of such relentless hope – and disappointment – ignites such a spark. Jon and I were driven to make that feeling of American roots stand tall.”

LISTEN TO DIERKS BENTLEY’S “AMERICAN GIRL” HERE

Now considered as one of Petty’s greatest hits (Billboard, Hollywood Reporter and Rolling Stone), Bentley’s banjo-forward, spirited reimagination of “American Girl” is a festival of swirling fiddles, right hand organ figures and mandolin runs complimented by a pre-bridge breakdown that reinforces the stop/start nature of the moment.

Bentley and producer Jon Randall recruited A-list session players Chad Cromwell on drums, Craig Young on bass, Rob McNelley and Randall himself on electric guitars, as well as Jimmy Wallace on piano and B-3. They also drafted acclaimed musicians Noam Pikelny on banjo, Andy Leftwich on fiddle and mandolin, and Chris Eldridge on acoustic guitar for the sweeping consideration of the desperation, dreams and betrayals plaguing a girl “raised on promises.” The instrumentation teams with Bentley’s vocals, equal part witness and mercy capturing the song’s urgency and injecting Petty’s signature pride and defiance even in the roughest places.

George Strait, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, Wynonna and many others are also featured on the album, which is set for release May 31st.

TRAVIS DENNING ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM ROADS THAT GO NOWHERE COMING MAY 24th.

Mercury Nashville recording artist Travis Denning is releasing his debut album, Roads That Go Nowhere, on May 24th. The Paul DiGiovanni and Jeremy Stover produced album features 15 tracks, 12 of which were co-written by Denning. It also includes features by HARDY and Josh Ross. The title track, “Roads That Go Nowhere,” written by Denning, Ben Foster and James McNair, is out today.

“‘Roads That Go Nowhere’ is a culmination of songs and stories that I really believe reflect where I’ve come from, what I’ve been through, and the places I’ve yet to go and where I want to go,” said Denning. “That’s with love, music, life, everything. I’m at that point in my life where I’m able to look back and reflect on the things that have gotten me here. A lot of them are positive and there are some negatives for sure. But I think that’s kind of everybody’s goal is to be able to look back and just be happy with the progress they’ve made and the potential they’ve still got. I wanted to take that mindset lyrically and production wise for the record that I’ve gotten to where I am, and I’ve had the successes I’ve had because I just stuck to the guns of what I enjoy doing. That’s being a guitar player, it’s trying to moonlight as a metalhead in country music and telling the stories about the things I have conviction about.”

Denning has tour dates through the fall. This spring and summer, he will support HARDY on his Quit!! tour. Tour dates listed below. Tickets available HERE.

Audio / Travis Denning talks about writing the title track of his new album, "Roads That Go Nowhere."

Download

Travis Denning (Roads That Go Nowhere) 1a  OC: …gone nowhere. :48
“The title of the album is Roads That Go Nowhere, and I think the day that I wrote that song I knew that the birth and the scheme had been drawn for a full-length album. I wrote it during a week of kind of just a pivotal point in my life. I was about a month-and-a-half away from getting married, some changes had happened in my professional life and stuff. It was a week that I was kind of just thinking and reflecting and thankful and worried about the future and my life, anything of that nature, and I walked into the room with James McNair and Ben Foster. James threw out that title, and he wanted to write it kind of more upbeat, rocking like we made memories on them roads that go nowhere, and the second he said it, I knew. I said, ‘I think this is a bigger thing. I think it’s about all those roads that have gone nowhere.”

Audio / Travis Denning talks about the inspiration behind the title track of his forthcoming album, Roads That Go Nowhere.

Travis Denning (Roads That Go Nowhere) 1a  OC: …for everything. :40
“It just poured out, every little detail of it, and we kind of broke those little taboo Nashville rules, like we sang about being a singer. And I think what’s come out of that of just being true and not worrying about the tiny little rules of writing this song, I think it’s become a more relatable song because it came strictly from where we came from. I started thinking back on my career – the success I’ve had, the success I haven’t, the success I’m still hoping to have – and I just realized how many paths I’ve been down to get to those points, and yeah, I just knew this song was the thing and it was gonna be the anchor for everything.”
