“It’s our 10th anniversary of the Farm Tour. We’ve been able to have a lot of amazing memories and we’ve been able to give some scholarships to kids through the Farm Tour. You know, there’s nothing better than watching 15, 20,000 people in a hayfield have fun and listen to country music.”

Luke Bryan (Farm Tour 2018) 2 OC: …every year. :56
“We’ve laid out of Georgia a couple of years, and my Georgia crowd they were not happy about that, so we finally got one back in Ringgold. We’ve got Chase Rice out, we’ve got the Peach Pickers and we’ve got Jon Langston on all the shows. And yeah, we’re doing the first one ever in Ohio. We’re in Illinois this year. We’re in Iowa, and then we’re down in Florida also. So, we do Florida, North Augusta in South Carolina and then we do Georgia. So, we kinda got the Southeast handled, and we got the Midwest handled. So, we like to just spread ‘em around and we may lay out of Iowa one year and then go down to Nebraska. We just kinda keep it fun. We did eight shows a year for a long time, and we learned that was a lot of work and I didn’t really sound good on the last, on the eighth, the seventh and eighth show I was pretty tired. So, we just trimmed it back to six, and it makes it fun and fresh and we love the Farm Tour every year.”

KEITH URBAN, LUKE BRYAN AND CARRIE UNDERWOOD ARE NOMINATED FOR PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS THIS YEAR.

The finalists for this year’s People’s Choice Awards have been announced. Keith Urban leads the list of country artists with two nominations – one for Country Artist of the Year, alongside Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Thomas Rhett; as well as all-genre Male Artist of the Year, in which he’ll face Drake, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran.

Other categories include movies, television, social media and other music formats. Voting is live now and will run through October 19th. Fans can either vote at pca.eonline.com or through Twitter and Facebook.

The People’s Choice Awards will be telecast for the first time on E! on November 11th at 9pm ET/PT.

KEITH URBAN WILL HOST THIS YEAR’S ARIA AWARDS, AUSTRALIA’S EQUIVALENT TO THE GRAMMY AWARDS.

Keith Urban, who recently received three CMA Award nominations, will host the 32nd Annual ARIA Awards, Australia’s GRAMMY Awards. It has been over a decade since Urban last graced the ARIA’s stage when back in 2007 he joined John Butler for an unforgettable performance.  Keith’s unprecedented history as a multiple ARIA and Grammy Award-winning artist and recognition as the steward of Country music in Australia make him the natural choice as host of the 32nd annual ARIA Awards, a role he is undertaking for the first time.

Earlier this year, Urban’s first studio album in nearly two years, GRAFFITI U debuted at #1 in Australia along with #1 positions in Canada and the United States. Urban remains the only male country artist to debut at the top of the all genre charts simultaneously in three countries (U.S., Canada and Australia), a feat that no other male country artist has achieved once, no less twice.

With Urban’s 2018 GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR now completed in Canada, it’s back in the States where it’s seen critically hailed, sold-out performances across the country.  The tour heads to Australia in February where it’s already seen sell-outs in Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Urban’s last album, the #1 Platinum selling RIPCORD, was the second highest selling album in Australia 2016 and spent 27 weeks in the Top 10 and 46 weeks in the Top 20 of the ARIA Albums Chart.  The singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer is no stranger to the ARIA charts with a total of 14 ARIA Platinum-selling singles and albums, earning him a total of five ARIA Awards.

Dan Rosen, Chief Executive ARIA said: “ARIA is honored and excited to welcome back superstar Keith Urban to join us in Sydney to celebrate the 2018 ARIAs. To have one of Australia’s biggest stars host this year’s ceremony is just phenomenal. Australian music fans are in for a real treat.”

This year’s ARIA Awards will take place November 18th in Sydney Australia.

KIP MOORE KICKED OFF HIS NEW HEADLINING “AFTER THE SUNBURN TOUR” WITH A STRING OF SHOWS ON THE EAST COAST.

Kip Moore kicked off his highly-anticipated headlining AFTER THE SUNBURN TOUR with a string of roof-raising shows on the east coast this weekend. Beginning in Silver Springs, MD and wrapping with a sold-out show in Huntington, NY, a highlight from the opening weekend saw Moore play a personal bucket-list show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Friday night (9/21.) Moore, who has “cultivated an extensive international touring base… quickly becoming one of country music’s most tireless and powerful live draws” (Rolling Stone), has a fiercely loyal following in New York City, returning each time to play bigger headlining rooms, often doubling the capacity size, since 2012. The unforgettable evening had Moore’s notoriously passionate fans singing back every song, single or album track, unwaveringly to the very last note of his set.

Each night across the high-energy weekend saw Moore give fans a sneak peak of upcoming new music and he will continue his stacked headlining tour this weekend with stops in Birmingham, AL and Louisville, KY, as well as joining Lady Antebellum for a night in Alpharetta, GA. Moore has invited a combination of special guests including Jordan Davis, Jillian Jacqueline, The Wild Feathers and Caroline Jones to join him across the dates this fall. CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S CRY PRETTY ALBUM MAKES COUNTRY HISTORY AS IT DEBUTS AT NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD’S TOP 200 ALBUM CHART!

Carrie Underwood‘s new album, Cry Pretty, has debuted at the top of  Billboard’s Top 200 Album chart today.  The collection is the biggest all-genre debut by a female in 2018, topping Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy (April 6, 2018). The album debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts with 265,654 equivalent album units, making Underwood the only woman in history to land four country albums at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The critically-acclaimed album is the best-selling Country album debut of 2018, as well as the biggest Country album debut since August 7, 2015 (Luke Bryan’s Kill The Lights) and the biggest female Country album debut since October 22, 2012 (Taylor Swift’s 2012 Red).

Cry Pretty’s debut week also marks the most first week streams by any female in Country music. This is Underwood’s seventh consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, representing all of her first seven albums including her Greatest Hits: Decade #1.

Check out the Billboard article here.

NPR declares that Cry Pretty “pushes her creative boundaries and leans into modern R&B, while retaining the Oklahoma singer-songwriter’s country roots” and “Underwood’s voice owns pretty much anything it touches.”

Rolling Stone lauds Underwood as “Arena country’s mightiest voice, as Cry Pretty reaffirms.”

Entertainment Weekly has called the album “Her most emotionally accessible work to date.”

Underwood was recently featured in a profile on CBS Sunday Morning, as well as performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen Show. She received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Sept. 20 and performed at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Nominated as Favorite Female Artist – Country, Underwood will perform at the 2018 American Music Awards on Oct. 9 following her promotional tour in Australia, which will include an appearance at the iconic Deni Ute Muster festival. Fans will get the chance to watch multiple performances from Carrie that night as she is also set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 11:35pm ET / 10:35 CT on ABC immediately following the 2018 American Music Awards live broadcast.

Cry Pretty is Underwood’s first release on Capitol Records Nashville and her first time co-producing alongside David Garcia.  She co-wrote nine of the songs on the album including her current single, “Love Wins,” with David Garcia and Brett James.  She recently released the official music video for “Love Wins,” which was directed by Shane Drake. View HERE.

Underwood returns this fall for her sixth season as the voice of primetime television’s #1 program, Sunday Night Football. This November, she and Brad Paisley will co-host the CMA Awards for the 11th consecutive year.

In spring 2019, Underwood will launch a new arena tour, The Cry Pretty Tour 360. Sponsored by CALIA, the new tour will kick off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC, and will play 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada and be promoted by AEG Presents.  She will be joined on tour by special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.

Carrie Underwood (what fans can expect) OC: …ever had before. :39
“I literally meet fan club members and fans at meet and greets and things like that that will say, ‘I voted for you on American Idol. I’ve been a fan club member since it started,’ and that’s absolutely incredible. I feel like we’ve kind of just all grown and evolved together, and I feel like that’s so cool. I hope they listen to this album and maybe get a bigger glimpse of me and who I am because I definitely feel like this project has been a bigger representation of me as a person, as an artist, as a creative being, because I’ve had so much more of a hands-on approach with this album than I’ve ever had before.”

Audio / Carrie Underwood says she learned a lot about herself as a co-producer with David Garcia.

Carrie Underwood (prepping to record a song with David Garcia) OC: …up here, you know? :48
In working as a producer with David, I feel like I learned so much about, obviously making music, but also about myself as an artist, myself as a writer and myself as a vocalist. I feel like previously in my career, I love being technically good. I love to sing. It’s what I love to do, and I take a lot of pride in working hard at being good at what I do. But I would go in with David and it would be time to record, put my vocals down. Like we’re doing this. I’m stepping up to the plate. Here we go. I’m going to hit a grand slam, and in my mind, that’s what I’m thinking. I’m going to sing every note perfectly. I’m going to be great. I’m talking myself up here, you know?”

NEWCOMER JON LANGSTON GOT A LITTLE “FREAKED OUT” WHEN HE HEARD HIS DEBUT SINGLE ON THE RADIO FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Newcomer Jon Langston is experiencing a lot of firsts lately, including releasing his first single — “When It Comes to Loving You” — on a major record label. When he heard it on the radio for the first time, he went a little crazy.

“Hearing my single on the radio for the first time was surreal. It was a dream come true,” says Jon, who co-wrote the tune with Dan Isbell. “I was in a van with my whole band, and I was listening to an interview and they said, ‘Here’s his debut single ‘When It Comes to Loving You’,’ and I freaked out. I had no idea they were going to play it, and it was a full circle moment and something I’ll never forget.”

The Georgia native will open Luke Bryan’s 2018 Farm Tour beginning Thursday (September 27th) in Irwin, Ohio. He’ll follow up those dates with his own Prob’ly at a Bar Tour October 12th in Indianapolis, Indiana.

For more information on Jon’s tour dates, go to jonlangston.com.

ERIC CHURCH WILL “DOUBLE DOWN” FOR HIS NEW TOUR NEXT YEAR.

Eric Church’s October 5 Desperate Man release is one of the year’s most anticipated albums, and now fans have even more reasons to look forward to its release day: 37 of them to be exact.

Church’s 2019 Double Down Tour will see this month’s American Songwriter cover artist visit 19 cities (list below) to perform six albums worth of material across two very different nights of music as well as a stadium-sized tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee, more than doubling the capacity where he previously set Bridgestone Arena’s attendance record upon the finale stop of his Holdin’ My Own Tour in 2017.

In a candid cover-story interview in July, Rolling Stone praised Church for “pushing boundaries in a way that sounds natural and unforced.” The same goes for his touring in 2019, again foregoing an opening act and instead treating fans to dynamic marathon sets across back-to-back nights.

In keeping with Church’s commitment to giving his fan club — known as the Church Choir — priority access, they will be able to purchase tickets during the fan club presale.

To keep scalpers at bay and to ensure tickets end up in the hands of real fans, after the fan club presale, tickets will be sold during Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan presale. All fans interested in priority access to tickets should get verified. Registration begins Friday, Sept. 21 at 10 am CT.

Tickets inside Church’s stage will be made available exclusively to Church Choir members and only through the brand new Eric Church app. Church is taking full control of the very best seats inside the stage and offering them using cutting edge technology. Church Choir members will also have the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive hotel deals in all Double Down Tour cities plus additional surprises related to the tour. More information is available at ericchurch.com.

Desperate Man is available for preorder now, with the title track, “Heart Like A Wheel” and “Monsters” available upon preorder.

Eric Church (performing live for fans) OC: …that type of crowd. :38
“For me, every night, I try to empty the tank. There’s always that energy floating around. I mean, it’s a palpable thing, and it’s up to me to start that exchange and get the crowd to give it back to me and then watch it build on itself and just to have that experience. You know, we’ve got this night. You’re not going to see me for a while; you’re not going to see me for a while. I love being able to capitalize on that moment and trying to live in that moment and get as much energy exchange between us and the crowd as we can. I love that. That’s my favorite part of what we do. I love…I’m very passionate about my music, and I love people who are passionate about the music too, and I love playing a show for that type of crowd.”

JOSH TURNER REALIZES A DREAM WITH NEW GOSPEL ALBUM.

Multi-platinum-selling country singer Josh Turner’s I Serve A Savior will release on October 26th, adding a new dimension to the GRAMMY® nominee’s already acclaimed career. The faith-based collection includes hand-picked hymns, alongside brand-new originals and live recordings of some of Turner’s most memorable hits including “Me and God” and “Long Black Train.”

Baring faith and family in his forthcoming gospel project, Turner’s I Serve A Savior even includes a special song penned by his wife, Jennifer, and eldest son, Hampton, “The River (of Happiness).” The pair also sings on the track along with Turner’s three other boys. “It’s an uplifting song,” said Turner. “And having Jennifer and the boys singing on it drives that home.”

I Serve A Savior is a landmark album from one of the pillars of the country music community. A dream come true for Turner, the gospel project is one that fans have been asking to hear for years. More than that, it reflects the heart of the artist and is a personal manifesto.

“My faith is the most important thing to me,” said Turner. “I want people to hear the sentiment and heart behind this record. I want them to feel the same inspiration that I felt. I want them to feel that and hopefully they’ll make these songs a part of their life.” Turner shares more on his inspiration and heart behind the project in the video below or click HERE.

“Working on this project has definitely been a God-ordained blessing. I never would have thought I’d be doing this record this year, but God opened a door and I walked through it,” shared Turner. “I’ve seen many seemingly impossible things take place during the making of this record and I’ve felt God’s anointing over it.”

In addition to the 12-track project, Turner is set to release a 90-minute live performance DVD of the new faith-based collection, filmed at Gaither Studios. The DVD will include a special interview of Turner with gospel legend Bill Gaither. “Josh Turner is a gifted artist. We talked about his faith, his music, his wife and children, and about his gospel heritage he holds so dear,” expressed Gaither. “It is a joy to see a young man with so much talent using his gifts with purpose and excellence.” The anticipated DVD, which features a performance by the Turner family, will also be edited to air as a one-hour television special hosted by Bill Gaither. The special will air this fall on several networks across the U.S. and Canada. With his rich, deep voice and distinctive style, MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner is one of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers. From his 2003 Platinum-selling debut Long Black Train to his 2017 Billboard No. 1 release, Deep South, Turner has scored multiple GRAMMY®, CMA and ACM Awards nominations and received six Inspirational Country Music Awards. As one of the youngest members inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, Turner has sold more than 8 million units, topped more than 1.5 billion in global streaming and populated radio with such memorable hits as “Hometown Girl,” “Would You Go With Me,” “Your Man,” “Time Is Love,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “Long Black Train.”

With his newest project, I Serve A Savior, Turner adds an exciting new dimension to his already acclaimed career.  I Serve A Savior is a thoughtful gospel collection that finds Turner’s rich, distinctive baritone paired with timeless classics including “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Great Is Your Faithfulness,” as well as introducing originals including the title track, “I Serve A Savior,” and “The River (of Happiness),” written by his wife, Jennifer, and their eldest son, Hampton.

Turner is a disciple of traditional country music, a mentor to up-and-coming artists, and one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry.  Turner has been an Opry member for over 10 years and he recently reveled in his 150th performance on the famed Opry circle.

The Hannah, S.C. native has been songwriting and performing since he was a child, and in support of music education, he created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund to assist students interested in pursuing a future in arts and music. Josh Turner (Gospel collection) OC: …strongly about. :23
“The songs that make up this record are all songs that really mean something to me. There’s a huge variety of songs on this record, but they’re all songs that really have a special place in my heart whether they are older hymns or songs that I wrote or cover songs, or what-have-you. It’s just a collection of songs that I really feel strongly about.”
