ERIC PASLAY RELEASES HIS NEW SINGLE, ‘YOUNG FOREVER.’

Eric Paslay has hit the airwaves with his brand-new song, “Young Forever,” which he co-wrote with Chris DeStefano (“That’s My Kind of Night,” “Something in the Water,” “Don’t Ya”) and singer-songwriter Morgan Evans. The song goes for adds at radio March 5th.

“It all points back to your youth, and it’s about the feeling of it of ‘shooting stars lighting up the boulevard,’ like you’re just young enough to get away with anything almost,” says Eric. “It’s just a cool, exciting experience. It’s that summer love; it’s that first time rush. And I hope I live that way, and I hope everyone who hears this song gets that feeling and makes ‘em want to feel young forever every time they do something in their life and experience it for the first time or the hundredth time.”

Eric is set to headline the 21st Annual JDRF Promise Gala: A Country Side of a Cure on Saturday (February 24th). The event raises money and awareness for Juvenile Diabetes and the JDRF, which is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

“‘Young Forever,’ I wrote it with Chris DeStano [and] Morgan Evans, two great writers. ‘Young Forever,’ I mean, you just listen to the song. There’s so many experiences. LUKE BRYAN KICKS OFF HIS WHAT MAKES YOU COUNTRY TOUR.

Luke Bryan kicked off his What Makes You Country Tour Friday (February 16th) in Springfield, Missouri. He’s taking Kip Moore and Cadillac Three along for the ride.

The next stops on the tour include Thursday (February 22nd) in State College, Pennsylvania, Saturday (February 23rd) in Atlantic City and Sunday (February 24th) in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Luke’s latest song, “Most People Are Good,” has now entered the Top 10 on the country charts. The song is from his latest album, What Makes You Country, which was released late last year.

JORDAN DAVIS HITS THE TOP 10 WITH ‘SINGLES YOU UP.’

Jordan Davis has entered the Top 10 on the country charts with his debut song “Singles You Up.” He co-wrote the infectious song with Justin Ebach and Steven Dale Jones, and the Louisiana native has a pretty easy definition for the title of the song.

“‘Singles You Up’ to me means if you see a girl may be taken, but she’s a great girl, and ‘A’ if she ever gets singled up or if you think you can be a better boyfriend than the one she already has, just hang around and I don’t know, [you] maybe might get your shot,” says Jordan.

“Singles You Up” is the first release from Jordan’s forthcoming album, Home State, available March 23rd.

Jordan is currently on the road on his White Wine and Whiskey Tour. The next stops on the trek are Friday (February 23rd) in Dallas and Sunday (February 25th) in Austin, Texas.

BROTHERS OSBORNE ARE FEATURED IN THE NEW FRYE COMPANY CAMPAIGN.

John and TJ Osborne, aka Brothers Osborne, have been tapped by Frye for the American footwear company’s new Hometown Pride Campaign.
“Frye is a company deeply rooted in our country’s history. Not to mention the undeniable style and quality.” – Brothers Osborne

The partnership includes in-store activations such as exclusive “first listen” events for Brothers Osborne’s new music, giving fans a chance to preview the band’s sophomore album, Port Saint

Joe. Vinyl copies of the album will be sold in select FRYE stores starting April 20th. Together Brothers Osborne and FRYE will host a sweepstakes to win a trip to New York, meet and greet

with the band and VIP tickets to their Mountain High Tour with Dierks Bentley. Brothers Osborne fans can learn more about their upcoming album at Portsaintjoe.brothersosborne.com

The new campaign highlights local talent and underscores FRYE’s deep music roots through a celebration of Nashville’s flourishing scene. Hometown Pride, photographed by Gregory Harris, reveals candid images of Brothers Osborne, reflecting the authentic style and personality of the Nashville-based duo.

Two sons from a working-class family, John and TJ Osborne grew up in a small-town writing and playing songs for friends and family. Similar to John A. Frye’s longstanding tradition of building community and finely crafting unique product, Brothers Osborne precisely craft their music to create an identifiable sound all their own, resonating with Nashville fans and beyond. The Brothers have won back-to-back CMA Awards for “Vocal Duo of the Year”, in addition to “Music Video of the Year” for their top-10 Grammy-nominated single, “It Ain’t My Fault”. They also stand as the reigning ACM “Vocal Duo of the Year.”

Music, an integral part of the brand’s DNA, is brought to life through FRYE’s monthly in-store music series in Nashville, FRYEDAYS. This homegrown original series has featured intimate live performances by Brent Cobb, Langhorne Slim and Rayland Baxter and has quickly earned a cult following.

As original craftsmen, The Frye Company continues its tradition of honoring makers and valuing community – connecting quality and craft to the music that is so deeply rooted in the brand’s

history.

DIERKS BENTLEY’S WIFE HAS A GREAT EAR WHEN IT COMES TO HIS MUSIC.

Dierks Bentley has paid tribute to his wife, Cassidy, in several songs, including the title track of his last album, Black, but also in his current song, “Woman, Amen.” He wrote the song with his frequent collaborators, Ross Copperman and Josh Kear, and has said it’s one of the more personal songs about his wife and how he’d be lost without her. However, just because it’s about her, it’s really not her favorite song from his upcoming album.

“It’s funny this song is not her favorite on the record, which I love,” he says. “She’s like, ‘I love the song,’ but there are so many other songs she gravitates towards. I love the fact that just because it’s a love song doesn’t make her go, ‘I love it. It’s about me. Thanks.’ No.”

She is an important voice in the songs he does record, and he gives her props for being a big part of his career. “She has a really critical ear and she has her favorites, and she’s such an important voice for me to hear when I’m looking for information on like honest assessments. She plays an important role in the process. She’s a big part of the record, and certainly this song, ‘Woman, Amen.’ I mean with that first verse lays out how ‘you’d be lost without her,’ and for me that’s really true. I may be doing this at some level, but the meaningful would not be there.”

“Woman, Amen” is the first release from his upcoming album, The Mountain.

Dierks will launch his 2018 Mountain High Tour May 17th in Columbia, Maryland with special guests Brothers Osborne and LANCO.

“My wife has heard so many songs, I mean so many songs. Usually the day I write them, I’ll come back and I’ll play her on a guitar or a tape or something. It’s funny this song is not her favorite on the record, which I love. She’s like, ‘I love the song,’ but there are so many other songs she gravitates towards. I love the fact that just because it’s a love song doesn’t make her go, ‘I love it. It’s about me. CARRIE UNDERWOOD DEFINES OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS AS ROLE MODELS.

Carrie Underwood is cheering on all of the Olympic Champions and feels each one of the athletes is a good role model for children watching at home.

“I think it’s absolutely impossible to pick one Olympic champion that’s a great role model, because I think in so many ways they all are,” says Carrie. “They work so hard for so long and they’re representing us. I think that is the definition of a role model is the determination and the drive and laying it all on the line and giving it everything they got. I couldn’t imagine the pressure that they’re under, and there are so many incredible athletes that just handle everything with grace and humility. I think no matter where you’re from or what you’re into, you can watch the Olympics and just find someone to cheer for and be proud that they are the ones out there that are representing us.”

Some of the most notable Olympic athlete role models include boxer and champion Muhammad Ali, gymnasts Mary Lou Retton and Nadia Comaneci, swimmers Michael Phelps and Mark Spitz, diver Greg Louganis, skaters Scott Hamilton and Kristi Yamaguchi, track stars Usain Bolt, Carl Lewis and Wilma Rudolph and some of this year’s Winter Olympians — gold medal snow boarders Shaun White, Red Gerard, Jamie Anderson and Chloe Kim and slalom skier Mikaela Shiffrin.

“The Champion” is being used for NBC’s coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Competition runs through Sunday, February 25th, the day of the Closing Ceremony.

Carrie is currently in the studio working on her next album which will be released on Capitol Records Nashville.

IT’S THE END OF THE ROAD FOR DIERKS BENTLEY’S…MUSTACHE.

Dierks Bentley has said goodbye to his thick ’90s-era mustache, after “growing it” for his recent Hot Country Knights performance at Whiskey Row last week. It took a lot of strength for the superstar to part ways with his remarkable ‘stache, however, he did shave it, which is probably for the best, especially to his career, for his marriage and so his kids would stop crying about a stranger being in the house.

Dierks is currently making his way up the charts with his latest song, “Woman, Amen,” from his new album, The Mountain, due out later this year.

KIP MOORE CELEBRATES CHART-TOPPING SINGLE, ‘MORE GIRLS LIKE YOU.’

Kip Moore celebrated his 4th career No. One on Tuesday (February 13th) for his recent single “More Girls Like You,” joined by friends at Analog at The Hutton Hotel in Nashville, hosted by ASCAP and BMI. Co-written by Moore (ASCAP), he was also accompanied by fellow co-writers on the track Steven Lee Olsen (his second No. One – ASCAP), Josh Miller (his first No. One – BMI) and David Garcia (his first country radio No. One – ASCAP) for the festivities. The anthemic song is the lead track taken from Moore’s now critically-acclaimed third studio album SLOWHEART and is followed up by his “smoldering” (Rolling Stone) new single “Last Shot,” which is currently captivating fans and country radio.

Kip Moore recently released the “equal parts powerful, heartwarming and tear-jerking” (Entertainment Tonight) new music video for “Last Shot.” The track is the second taken from SLOWHEART which is continuing to garner praise by critics across the country as Moore “blends the passion and connection for which he’s known with a new self-awareness that will speak to both commercial and underground audiences” (USA Today) as well as wrapping 2017 on multiple “Best Of” lists including Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, UpRoxx, Bobby Bones Show, Taste Of Country, Sounds Like Nashville, The Boot, PopMatters and Whiskey Riff. SLOWHEART follows the acclaim that surrounded Moore’s sophomore album WILD ONES heralded as “an impressively singular release from Music Row” by The Guardian and his PLATINUM debut album UP ALL NIGHT that spawned three No. One hit singles. Ahead of Moore’s headlining stint, he will hit the road this weekend with Luke Bryan kicking off in Springfield, MO on 2/16 and will then head back across the pond for a highly-anticipated return to Europe’s Country To Country Festival taking place March 9-11 in London, UK, Glasgow, UK, and Dublin, I.E. For more information, visit kipmoore.net.

Audio / Prior to the party celebrating his recent No. 1 smash "More Girls Like You," Kip Moore, along with co-writers Steven Lee Olsen, Josh Miller and David Garcia, talked to the media about their hit song and why it's special.

Kip Moore (hits are special) OC: …be special. :44
“Heck-any time you can get a hit, they’re all special. I think that all my music is authentic to me. I don’t write stuff that I don’t feel, or so I feel like ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ was super authentic to the way I felt in that moment. I didn’t have a family, but I was thinkin’ about it in terms of when I do go that route, that’s how I want to feel. I think with this one, it was just the maturation of where I was at in my life, so I wrote in that capacity of how I was growing. We were all talking about it in the room about how my life has changed. Any time you get a hit record, it’s something you should cherish. You don’t know when you’re gonna get ‘em again. I think for all of us it’s gotta be special.”

LADY ANTEBELLUM’S DAVE HAYWOOD BUILT A FOUNDATION OF FRIENDSHIP WITH WIFE KELLI.

Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood built a foundation of friendship with wife, Kelli, for several years before they even considered starting a romantic relationship.

“Our story was we were friends for a number of years. I really thought she was cute and we had a lot in common, but we didn’t date for probably four or five years. We were friends. We’d go on trips together with different groups of friends. And so, we really had a great foundation,” says Dave. “The very first date we went on was again to a restaurant in Nashville called Kayne Prime, and we went there. Once we got together, we got engaged within a really short time, got married really quick because we knew each other so well. Having that foundation of knowing each other for 5, 6, 7 years was really just a beautiful thing.”

The two were married in April 2012 and just welcomed their second child, Lillie Renee, who joined big brother Cash.

Lady Antebellum, who are making their way up the country charts with their latest hit “Heart Break,” will head out on the road on their co-headlining Summer Plays On Tour with pal Darius Rucker July 19th.
