LADY ANTEBELLUM’S HILLARY SCOTT EXPECTING A BABY GIRL! (AUDIO)

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott apparently confirmed with Us Weekly that she and husband Chris Tyrell are expecting a baby girl. She recently said she loves sharing the news of her pregnancy with family, friends and fans, and just can’t keep any good news to herself. “We were very comfortable with everyone sharing in our joy very, very early, and so we have faith that this baby’s gonna be healthy and beautiful and perfect, and so let’s just kind of let everybody in on our excitement,” said Hillary Scott. “We’re gonna find out what it is, and it won’t be a secret. I’m not good at keeping secrets!”

Lady A’s “Downtown” is headed uptown on the country charts. It’s the first release from their upcoming album, Golden, which is scheduled for release on May 7th.

And we were very comfortable with everyone sharing in our joy very, very early, and so we have faith that this baby’s gonna be healthy and beautiful and perfect, and so let’s just kind of let everybody in on our excitement. We’re gonna find out what it is, and it won’t be a secret. I’m not good at keeping secrets! [CHARLES: “No, you’re not.”] I don’t know. I just really have faith, I knew that everything was going to be okay, and that this baby was sent to us for a really special purpose, and it’s a huge blessing, so I’m excited.”

DARIUS RUCKER ENLISTS A FEW SPECIAL GUESTS FOR HIS ‘WAGON WHEEL’ VIDEO. (AUDIO)

Capitol Records Nashville’s Darius Rucker has been shooting his latest music video for his new single “Wagon Wheel” in Nashville, TN this week.  The video directed by Jim Wright features several guest appearances including Jase, Korie, Sadie, Si and Willie Robertson from A&E’s Duck Dynasty and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum who along with Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott sing background vocals on the single.

“My wife came up with the idea to have the Duck Dynasty (DD) guys in the “Wagon Wheel” music video, and I thought we had no chance because they’re so busy so I never even said it out loud,” explains Rucker. “Thank God she called my manager because the DD folks took this video to a whole new level! Big thanks to them and Charles… It was a good time for sure, and I can’t wait to see how the video turns out!”

“Wagon Wheel” was written by Ketch Secur of Old Crow Medicine Show and is based on a sketch by Bob Dylan.  The hit single is from Rucker’s upcoming third solo country album, True Believers, which will be released this Spring.

Rucker recently had a childhood dream come true when he was inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.  His first two country albums, Learn To Live and Charleston, SC 1966 both topped the Billboard Country album chart and produced five No. 1 singles including “Come Back Song,” “This,” “Alright,” “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” and “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It.”  In 2009 Rucker was named New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards.

Darius Rucker (Wagon Wheel video) 1 OC: (JASE) …just kidding. [Both laugh]  1:13
DARIUS: “For me to get these guys to do [the video], we were thinking about what to do with the video and my wife comes in and goes, ‘You know what we should do?’ And I said, ‘What?’ She goes, ‘You should get the Duck Dynasty guys to do it.’ I said, ‘That’ll never happen.’ That’s exactly what I said. I didn’t even call my manager. She did. I didn’t even call with the idea, and she called and said, ‘Look, you need to do this.’ And I couldn’t believe it worked out perfectly.” JASE ROBERTSON: “Well, that’s what people said, ‘Now why are you doing this?’ I said, ‘Well, ‘cause he asked me.’ [Darius laughs] Hey! He’s been supportive of our show, and I appreciate that and just thought this could be fun. Plus, if you let Si be your guide, the road could get a little bumpy. [DARIUS: “Yes, it can.”] I know from personal experience, so I’m here to provide a little security, and I may do a little singing in the backup. If you listen real close, you may hear me do a little harmony. [Darius laughs] Naw, I’m just kidding. [Both laugh]”
