GEORGE STRAIT RETURNS TO FORT WORTH FOR TWO NIGHTS: NOVEMBER 17th & 18th

George Strait has announced a two-night-only event in his home state, with back-to-back concerts set for Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena. The King of Country Music will be joined by special guest Caitlyn Smith for both dates.

The two-night stand is a reprise of Strait’s two nights at Dickies Arena in 2022, which both sold out within hours of going on sale to the public. Tickets to the 2023 shows go on sale to the general public Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, April 11 at 10 a.m. CT through Thursday, April 13 at 10 p.m. CT.

The news follows the recent announcement that Strait will team up with Chris Stapleton to perform one-off stadium dates this year in Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Milwaukee, Nashville (two nights) and Tampa. Joining the King of Country and Stapleton for all dates are special guests Little Big Town.

Since his record-breaking Cowboy Rides Away Tour in 2014, Strait has performed for limited engagements outside of his 36-and-counting Strait to Vegas shows at T-Mobile Arena, including headlining both weekends of the Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2021 plus his 31st appearance at the Houston Rodeo in 2022. With an unmatched 60 singles hitting the top of the charts—more than any other artist in any genre—during the span of his 30+ year career, Strait has collected 33 Platinum or multi-Platinum-selling albums, more than any other Country artist and ranking third across all genres behind The Beatles and Elvis Presley. The Texas troubadour is the only artist or act in history to have a Top 10 hit every year for over three decades and recently earned his 100th entry on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his latest single, “The Weight of the Badge.” He has sold nearly 70 million albums and earned more than 60 major entertainment industry awards, including induction in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

BROTHERS OSBORNE SHARE THREE NEW SONGS “NOBODY’S NOBODY,” “MIGHT AS WELL BE ME,” AND “ROLLERCOASTER (FOREVER AND A DAY).”

Brothers Osborne share three new songs, “Nobody’s Nobody,” “Might As Well Be Me” And “Rollercoaster (Forever And A Day).” The three tracks are part of a soon to be announced project from Brothers Osborne and the first look at new music from the duo since the 2022 release of the deluxe edition of their GRAMMY-nominated album, Skeletons. John Osborne of the band shared, “As musicians, we’re constantly evolving and pushing ourselves to new heights. With our fourth album, we’ve teamed up with a new producer, Mike Elizondo, and embraced his approach to our sound and story. Our expectations were already high and he absolutely shattered them. It’s exciting to see where this journey will take us and we can’t wait to share this sound with everyone. Life and art are about growth and taking risks, and we’re ready to take on the challenge.” Listen to the three new songs here.

Brothers Osborne’s new music is produced by Mike Elizondo, also a co-writer of “Rollercoaster (Forever And A Day).” Elizondo reveals about the project, “Working on music with them was unlike anything I’ve done before. Brothers Osborne (Nobody’s Nobody) OC: …by that. :21
“So, ‘Nobody’s Nobody’ was really inspired just by us thinking, ‘You know what? I don’t care who you are or what you do, we all have our differences and we sometimes get on each other’s nerves, but you still are somebody. Everyone is someone in this world and it takes literally every one of us to make it go around.’ So, ‘Nobody’s Nobody’ was inspired by that.”

ERIC CHURCH CELEBRATES THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RELEASE OF HIS LIVE ALBUM, CAUGHT IN THE ACT.

Eric Church is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the release of his 2013 album (April 9th), Caught In The Act, which was captured during in 2012 at the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 17-song collection features tracks from Eric’s previous three albums,  2011’s Chief, 2009’s Carolina and his 2006 debut, Sinners Like Me, including “Over When It’s Over,” “How ‘Bout You,” his first charted No. 1 “Drink In My Hand,” “Hungover & Hard Up,” “Sinners Like Me,” “Smoke A Little Smoke” and fan favorite, “These Boots,” among others.

The North Carolina native said taping the album reminded him of when he played the bars and clubs before getting his record deal. “We kinda left the lights up, so you could kinda look around and see everybody,” says Eric. “You could see the emotion, you could see the face[s], you could hear ‘em. I felt at home. I felt like I was back in those bars and clubs that I love so much, and theaters, that I’ve had that interaction, that connection with individual people.”

The title, Caught in the Act, perfectly describes how they recorded the album. “We wanted it to be as loose as it could be because that’s what our career has been. It’s been real,” says Eric. “I remember…like an hour before that first show of myself and the band, two hours maybe, we pulled out a sheet of paper and we took out a pen, and we went down and made a set list. We didn’t know what we were starting with. We didn’t know what we were finishing with. We just went down and said ‘Hey, what do you want to play? What do you want to play? Hey, man remember, we haven’t played this in a long time.’ There were songs that I thought there’s no way I’ll get through that but our sentiment was let’s try it. Let’s go for it.”

“I think that with the Caught In The Act, it was very much you had to catch it because it may or may not have happened. It was just one of those things that it was so by the seat of our pants and off the cuff that it may or may not have worked,” adds Eric. “We could have easily recorded this, filmed this and came to the end and went ‘This isn’t good.’ We could have done it. We treated it that way. It wasn’t overthought. It was let’s try to see if we can create this environment that the magic and the music can mesh together.”

Caught In The Act: Live Track Listing:

1.) “Before She Does” (3:46)
2.) “How ‘Bout You” (4:24)
3.) “Drink In My Hand” (4:51)

Eric Church (taping live album) OC: …individual people. :37
“It was interesting for us, because we came straight from arena shows and we’re doing the same thing, not the same thing, but a similar thing every night, to completely pulled out of our element, like we’re back in bars and clubs. We made the set list up that day around a drum kit, going, ‘What have we not played in a while. Let’s do everything, you know, do all our songs.’ I just enjoyed seeing the people. We kinda left the lights up, so you could kinda look around and see everybody. You could see the emotion, you could see the face[s], you could hear ‘em. I felt at home. I felt like I was back in those bars and clubs that I love so much, and theaters, that I’ve had that interaction, that connection with individual people. It wasn’t just groups of ‘em, it was individual people.”

“With Caught In The Act we tried not to make too much of a deal about ‘Hey, we’re setting up here. We’re making a live record.’ We wanted it to be as loose as it could be because that’s what our career has been. It’s been real. PRISCILLA BLOCK TEAMS UP WITH ONLINE FASHION RETAILER SHEIN TO CREATE A NEW CLOTHING COLLECTION.

Priscilla Block has teamed up with the global fashion online retailer, SHEIN, to create a new  collection. The singer-songwriter, who is a fan of the brand, has curated an apparel collection just in time for festival appearances.

The SHEIN X Priscilla Block collection is inspired by her personal style and features the exact looks she’ll be wearing during her Stagecoach and Hangout Music Fest performances this year. From rhinestone fringe, neon colors to classic denim styles, the collection includes 90 pieces offered in size XS to 4XL that perfectly encapsulates the country star’s very own festival wardrobe.

“Working with SHEIN has been such a fun and exciting experience for me,” said Priscilla. “I’ve been a fan of the brand for some time now, so it’s really cool to curate my first-ever fashion collection with SHEIN. I wanted to choose pieces that anyone could wear, no matter their shape or size. We’ve taken the classic country styles I love the most and added my own sassy-glam twist to create a real country-meets-city chick vibe. I know it’ll have everyone who wears it feeling like a star, whether you’re partying on a boat with friends or wanting to be best dressed this festival season! Shopping hasn’t always been easy for me especially when it comes to sizing and affordability. With this collection I can say that I am so proud of the final outcome and can’t wait for you to be the most confident you this season!”
