LUKE BRYAN TAKES HIS PARTY TO MEXICO FOR HIS ANNUAL “CRASH MY PLAYA” EVENT.

Luke Bryan kicks off his annual CRASH MY PLAYA event Thursday (January 19th). The four-day event, which takes place Thursday through Sunday (January 22nd) at the AAA Four Diamond Awarded Moon Palace Cancun.

Luke is thrilled to bring along all of the artists, including co-headliners Chris Stapleton and Cole Swindell, as well as Ashley McBryde, Brian Kelley, Carly Pearce, Chase Rice, Dylan Scott, DJ Rock and Kendall Marvel. Fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie will make his debut appearance at the event as a guest performer during Luke’s final show of the weekend, while Dustin Lynch returns to host a special all-day edition of his famous pool party.

Luke says he tries to up the “fun” quotient every year. “I think anytime people can be in the cold up in the United States or wherever they’re at in the world and it’s cold and dreary and you can come down to Mexico and get in the ocean and it’s like 85 degrees, you can stand there with your toes in the sand and listen to great country music and every year we have new artists that show up,” he says. “And I love the fact that we get a lot of new talent down there, some artists that are just getting their career going, and the fact that Dustin Lynch does his pool party every year, it’s one of the most amazing moments of the week. But I think the fans get down there and have a blast. We try to make it more fun every year.”

On February 19th, Luke, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are back for their sixth season as celebrity judges on ABC’s American Idol.

TYLER HUBBARD’S OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR HIS LATEST SINGLE, “DANCIN’ IN THE COUNTRY,” FEATURES A VERY SPECIAL GUEST.

Tyler Hubbard premiered the music video for “Dancin’ In The Country” exclusively on Facebook today (January 18th) and it will go wide on Friday (January 20th). The clip features former pro football player, actor, TV host Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris, The Expendables) as the leader of a motorcycle gang who enters a bar and finds himself in a dance-off.

Tyler tells us he wanted the video to be pretty epic, so it had to feature someone pretty recognizable. “We knew we kind of wanted to kind of go big on this ‘Dancin’ In The Country’ video, and we had a really cool treatment, a cool concept that sort of required an iconic actor, if you will, an iconic face – somebody that would stand out and bring this story to life and really do it justice,” he says. “So, we started a list, me and the team, sort of dream people and at the top of the list was Terry Crews.”

The Georgia native had been a fan of Crews, but became an even bigger fan after spending time with him on the set of the video. “He’s one of the coolest dudes in the world, super laid-back and down-to-earth and funny and humble and just everything you hoped he would be,” says Tyler. “He came in and crushed it. He actually came in a day prior and learned a bunch of choreography and was just really super talented, learned really quickly and really did a great job on set, and the energy was just amazing. Not only Terry, but all the dancers did such a great job. So, the video is really probably one of my favorite videos I’ve ever been a part of and really brought this song to life in a perfect way.”

“Dancin’ In The Country” is the follow-up to his No. 1 single, “5 Foot 9,” and both songs will be included on Tyler’s upcoming self-titled debut solo album, which will be available January 27th.

Multi-Platinum CMA award-winning artist/songwriter Jordan Davis earned his fifth career No. 1 single with his co-penned hit, “What My World Spins Around this week on the Billboard and MediaBase Country Airplay charts.

“Huge thanks to my friends at country radio and [the MCA] promo team for believing in this song,” Jordan shared with Billboard. “When Ryan, Matt and I wrote this song, there was always that little feeling in the back of my mind that this one might be special. Pumped that it’s connected the way it has.”

Written by Davis, Ryan Hurd and Matt Dragstrem, “What My World Spins Around” first premiered on the Today Show and was featured on the ACM Honors broadcast. “What My World Spins” around follows Davis’ 2x Platinum, multi-week No. 1 “Buy Dirt,” which he co-wrote along with his brother, Jacob Davis, and brothers Matt and Josh Jenkins; the same writing team behind Davis’ brand-new song “No Time Soon,” out this Friday, January 20th.

In addition to “No Time Soon,” “What My World Spins Around,” and “Buy Dirt,” Davis’ highly anticipated upcoming full-length album Bluebird Days, features several recently released tracks including fan-favorites, “Next Thing You Know,” “Midnight Crisis” featuring Danielle Bradbery, “Part of It,” and more. Bluebird Days is available for pre-order now and is available everywhere Feb. 17.

Last year, Davis celebrated several touring milestones including back-to-back sold out nights headlining the Ryman Auditorium, which Music Row noted Davis “rises to stardom, shines on Ryman Stage” along with multiple national sold-out headlining dates, plus Davis joined Luke Combs for the Middle of Somewhere Tour. Breakout song “Buy Dirt” featuring Luke Bryan, garnered numerous accolades including wins for NSAI and CMA Song of the Year in addition to Billboard, AMA, iHeart and ACM award nominations and was one of the most streamed songs of the year in 2021 and 2022 with more than 780M global streams to date.

DIERKS BENTLEY’S PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR “SAME OL’ ME” CLOSES OUT A HISTORIC ERA AT NASHVILLE’S ICONIC EXIT/IN.

With the recent announcement of his upcoming 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD out February 24th, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley also shares a performance video of the record’s opening track “Same Ol’ Me.”  Shot at the end of December 2022 with the same inner fire of the 18-year-old Country music fanatic who first arrived in Nashville in the 1990s, Dierks performed the last notes of a historic era at Music City’s iconic Exit/In.

“My first time playing Exit/In was just as meaningful to me as playing the Ryman and Bridgestone Arena,” said Bentley. “I opened for Asleep at the Wheel before I had a record deal or anything. A manager was supposed to come watch me play, but they didn’t show up. I had a few too many Busch Lights and passed out under a bench. The last thing I remember hearing was Ray Benson’s booming voice. I woke up around 4:00am and realized I was all alone! It was bittersweet to be in there during the last days of December as they were closing it down. I felt honored to take a shot with the guys and toast to the history there and turn the lights off.”

GRAVEL & GOLD is a diverse, 14-track album about perspective and self-awareness at many levels from the personal to the professional. It’s also a testament to the many strains of country music Bentley has mastered and cultivated in his career, from the arena shaker to the barroom weeper to the bluegrass fireballer. GRAVEL & GOLD is a story of renewal, family, persistence and devotion to making the music as authentic and lasting as it can possibly be. Fans can now pre-order GRAVEL & GOLD and access its first available tracks “Gold,” “High Note” feat. Billy Strings and now “Same Ol’ Me” here.

The 10th album landmark speaks to how time has flown in Bentley’s unique, 21st-century career. He landed his first publishing deal in 2001 and released his debut album in 2003, producing an instant No. One single. The years since have revealed a rare consistency that’s fueled longevity – eight more albums that reached the top of the Country sales charts, resulting in 21 No. One songs, 8 billion streams, three CMA Awards, 14 GRAMMY® nominations and membership into the Grand Ole Opry. Trendy sounds have ebbed and flowed around him over these two decades, but fans have relied on Bentley for something more nourishing and individual. He also has created professional endeavors outside of the music with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” franchise hosting four locations. JORDAN DAVIS SCORES HIS FIFTH NO. 1 SINGLE WITH “WHAT MY WORLD SPINS AROUND.”

Jordan Davis has hit the top of the country charts with his fifth No. 1 single, “What My World Spins Around.” The song, which he wrote with Matt Dragstrem and Ryan Hurd, is pretty special to Jordan and has been since the day they penned it

“I think we left that day realizing that we had something that felt really, really good, and then when Paul (DiGiovanni) brought it to life, I thought, ‘Aw Man, that might be a hit! We’re onto something.’ But I think for me it’s different,” says Jordan. “Sonically, I haven’t really put out a song that feels that way, and then two, it’s kind of a manly love song. I think it’s just like I love a lot of things that I’m supposed to love, but when it comes to what truly gets me out of the bed in the morning is my family and I don’t know. I think we did a good job saying it in a cool and unique way.”

“What My World Spins Around,” as well as his two-week chart-topper  and CMA Song of the Year “Buy Dirt,” will be included on Jordan’s forthcoming album, Bluebird Days, which will be available February 17th.

LUKAS GRAHAM TEAMS UP WITH MICKEY GUYTON FOR NEW REFLECTIVE BALLAD “HOME MOVIES.”

Today, GRAMMY® Award-nominated artists Lukas Graham and Mickey Guyton team up for a reflective ballad “Home Movies” – listen HERE. The nostalgia-laced track will be featured on Lukas’ forthcoming long-awaited album 4 (The Pink Album), out next Friday, January 20th, 2023 via Warner Records.

About the track, Lukas says, “Home Movies is a ballad, a duet that looks at life rather than love. The coincidence of boy meets girl and the retrospective understanding that life is lived in the present but understood backwards.”

“I am beyond excited and honored to be a part of this song with Lukas,” says Guyton. “I have always admired his voice and music. I’m so grateful to him for seeing me and asking me to be part of this incredible song!”

Their melodic voices perfectly complement one another as they harmonize throughout the bridge, “There’s nothing I could be without these memories, even though they might not show the best of me.”

“Mickey’s vocals really make the lyrics that much better. Not to mention the outer harmonies on the last 3rd of the song!” The Danish singer-songwriter praised. “My favorite line is from the chorus ‘Everybody’s got a story no one knows’ and that’s the truth. We all have our inglorious moments and obscure pasts to deal with and that’s what makes life so beautiful; when we manage to rise above the prejudice and make something unique of ourselves.”

“This is hands down one of the most honest songs I’ve ever written. It was 2 o’clock in the morning – just me, my guitar and a piece of paper. Sometimes it’s the simplest songs that hit the most and for me “Me Pt. 2” is that. This past year was really big for me, especially releasing my debut album. When we were selecting songs for “Welcome To The Block Party” we had so many songs to choose from, which is why I’m super excited for the deluxe album. Four more songs that complete the Block Party era.”

DIERKS BENTLEY’S 10TH ALBUM GRAVEL & GOLD “TESTIFIES TO EVERYTHING HE DOES SO WELL” (ESQUIRE) – OUT FEBRUARY 24TH.

There comes a time in any climb up one of Colorado’s famous 14,000 foot peaks when, after a few hours of striving, you pause on a ledge, turn around, and marvel at the vista and the ground you’ve covered. That’s where Dierks Bentley finds himself, 20 years into an exceptional career in 21st century country music, with plans to release his 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD on February 24th. It’s a diverse, 14-track album about perspective and self-awareness at many levels from the personal to the professional.

“It’s been four years since I put out an album, and part of the reason for that is that I wrote and recorded two records that I didn’t feel were good enough and had to start over…twice,” explains Bentley. “I’m going to be able look back on it for the rest of my life and be like, yeah, that was harder than I thought it would be, but zero regrets. I had to get it right. That’s the Gravel & Gold of it all.”

With a mix of long time collaborators, Bentley finds himself as a producer for the first time with GRAVEL & GOLD.  In its opening track “Same Ol’ Me,” out today and available as a live video at 12:00P HERE. Bentley recognizes that midlife demands adjustments and adaptations – as well as nurturing the inner fire of the 18-year-old country music fanatic who first arrived in Nashville in the 1990s. “Heartbreak Drinking Tour” calls on country music’s capacity for telling stories, “Something Real” reasserts the importance of holding on to integrity and self in a world of pressures, while “Still,” is a spacious and lovely meditation on staying spiritually grounded, largely through the power and freshness of nature. “Cowboy Boots” features Ashley McBryde with sharp writing about a timeless but humble subject, while “Beer At My Funeral” gives the album a jab of Roger Miller humor at 21st century arena scale. “Gold,” the album’s first single hits the core theme of perspective with a road-trip vibe and wisdom earned only by putting in the years and the work, and a similar gratitude for connection and life’s gentle gifts can be found in “Walking Each Other Home.” The final track is an intimate circle with Music City’s greatest pickers trading licks and laughs on the witty song about getting high, “High Note” feat. Billy Strings alongside Jerry Douglas on dobro, Sam Bush on mandolin, Charlie Worsham on guitar and Bryan Sutton on guitar and banjo.

“Selfishly I’ve always wanted to have my cake and eat it too,” says Bentley. “I’m in the bluegrass space. I’m in the traditional country space. It’s always been important to me to have the love and support of this community in Nashville, particularly the older establishment and the Opry – and to know that I’m able to do that but also get out on the road and play the big venues too?   It doesn’t get any better than that for me.”

GRAVEL & GOLD Track List:

  1. “Same Ol’ Me”
  2. “Sun Sets In Colorado”
  3. “Heartbreak Drinking Tour”
  4. “Something Real”
  5. “Still”
  6. “Beer At My Funeral”
