Kip Moore is about to head out on the road on the Sounds of Summer Tour with Dierks Bentley, Canaan Smith and Maddie & Tae. As the title may indicate, they’re going to be playing mostly outdoor amphitheaters, where temperatures will certainly soar throughout the day.

Kip says there’s really not a way to keep cool during those amphitheater shows. “I don’t know if there’s anything you can [do], I know that everybody’s gonna say, ‘Aw, take a drink,’ or whatever. There’s no possible way in those sheds when that sun is beating down that there’s any way to stay cool,” he says. “It’s all about just laying it all out. You got time to cool out after. But while you’re on, there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Kip is making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “I’m to Blame,” which is from his forthcoming album, Wild Ones, which is set for release August 21st.
