JOSH ROSS RELEASES NEW EP, COMPLICATED, AVAILABLE NOW.

Breakout singer-songwriter Josh Ross releases his highly anticipated EP, Complicated, today. The eight-song project includes his emotional power ballad “Trouble” and current chart-riser “Single Again.” Deeply invested in each note, Ross co-wrote seven of the EP’s eight tracks, produced by frequent collaborator Matt Geroux.

Ross shares, “I’ve been waiting to share this body of work with all of you. I’m a complicated person, and these songs reflect the last few years of my life. I’ve been inspired by a lot of different types of music, but country has such a traditional style of storytelling and the meaning behind a lyric stands true. My goal was to allow people to see all the different sides of me. I hope everyone finds a story in these songs they can relate to.”

Showcasing a next generation talent who pairs heart-on-his-sleeve storytelling with a modern country-rock edge, Ross’ rich vocal rasp explores a season of life that wasn’t always pretty. Like puzzle pieces, each track showcases the nuanced artist and performer Ross is, and where he is headed.

Last night, Ross celebrated the release of Complicated at downtown Nashville’s Ole Red. Following a live performance of the full EP for fans, friends and industry, he was surprised on stage by UMG Nashville Chair & CEO Cindy Mabe and Universal Music Canada SVP, Marketing JP Boucher with a plaque commemorating “Trouble” earning RIAA Gold certification in the US. The track has also been certified Double-Platinum in Canada.

The rising star has tallied more than 370 million career streams and been named an Artist to Watch by Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, MusicRow, and more. Last month he was named a member of the Grand Ole Opry’s coveted Opry NextStage Class of 2024, spotlighting country music’s rising talent. Recently wrapping his Canadian headlining ‘The Trouble Tour’ and selling out each show, he is currently supporting Bailey Zimmerman’s ‘Religiously. The Tour.’ Ross will take the stage this spring at Stagecoach and Country Thunder, and was tapped to join select dates of Luke Bryan’s ‘Mind Of A Country Boy Tour.” For tickets and a full list of tour dates, please visit

Josh Ross (different sides) OC: …different stuff. :37
“I’m still in the early ages of the new artist thing and trying to really let people get to know me, and I just look forward to kind of taking people on the journey of like this is where I was when I started songwriting, and this is the first song I wrote and this is when I went through this phase. I think a lot of people can kind of go on that rollercoaster with me of okay, this is a really fun song and we’re partying to this on a Friday, and then now we’re emotional and going through stuff on a Tuesday, and that’s just me as a person. My mom’s always joked that I’m a Gemini and I try to bring that into my shows – there’s two different sides to the emotions, and yeah, just give everybody a packed full show of different stuff.”

INTERNATIONAL STAR BRENDA LEE RELEASES FOREIGN LANGUAGE RECORDINGS FOR THE FIRST TIME DIGITALLY.

Fans of music icon Brenda Lee are now, for the first time, able to listen to Lee’s special international recordings of her hits digitally with the release of The International Brenda Lee (Brenda Lee Sings in German, French and Italian), out today via UMG Nashville/UMe. Originally released on CD on Bear Family Records in 1992, the 16-song digital compilation features Lee singing in foreign languages including 12 German, two French and two Italian tracks.

Listen to The International Brenda Lee (Brenda Lee Sings in German, French and Italian) | HERE

The album contains songs recorded between 1962 and 1964 in Nashville and Hamburg, Germany, with the late, famous Bert Kaempfert among the cast of producers. Lee’s No. 1 song “Anybody But Me” as well as “Fool #1” were recorded in all three languages. With the exception of “Kansas City,” all the remaining titles were German originals, including the chart hits “Wiedersehn Ist WunderschÖn” and “Ich Will Immer Auf Dich Warten.”

“I was so lucky to not only travel many times overseas, but also to record and perform in the native languages of my international fans. It was a challenge, but something so fun and different. It’s amazing to me that six decades later, these very special songs can be heard in a new way.” – Brenda Lee

Track List:

  1. Wiedersehn Ist Wunderschön
  2. Kansas City
  3. Ohne Dich (Even Tho’)
  4. Drei Rote Rosen Blüh’n
  5. Ich Will Immer Auf Dich Warten
  6. No My Boy
  7. Geh Am Glück Nicht Vorbei (“Fool #1” / German)
  8. Am Strand Von Hawaii
  9. Darling Bye Bye (“Anybody But Me” / German)
  10. In Meinen Träumen
  11. Wo Und Wann Fängt Die Liebe An
  12. Darling Was Ist Los Mit Dir
  13. La Premiere Fool (Fool #1 / French)
  14. Pourquoi Jamais Moi (“Anybody But Me” / French)
  15. Sono Sciocca (“Fool #1 / Italian)
  16. Nulla Di Me (“Anybody But Me” / Italian)

About Brenda Lee

Brenda Lee signed with the legendary Decca Records label before her 12th birthday and went on to record such landmark hits as “Sweet Nothin’s,” “All Alone Am I,” “Break it to Me Gently” and “I’m Sorry.” Though she had success in multiple genres including rockabilly, pop and rock, Lee found her home in country music. Lee’s best-loved hit, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” celebrated its 65th anniversary last year and continues to top the charts year after year. Not only has Lee sold more than 100 million albums globally, throughout her career she shared stages and earned the respect of the world’s most revered performers. The Beatles opened for her and the lads from Liverpool became good friends with the Southern belle from Atlanta, and Elvis Presley and Lee made their Grand Ole Opry debut on the same night. Lee had nine consecutive top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits from 1960 to 1962 and set a record for a female solo artist that was unequaled until over two decades later. Lee churned out country hits such as “Sunday Sunrise” and “Big Four Poster Bed” and continued to have country hits into the 80s, including “I Love Her So,” a duet with George Jones. Lee was the first woman inducted into both the Rock and Roll and Country Music Hall of Fames and she is a recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award. Her hit song “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” was certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA and reached 1 billion streams on Spotify. In November 2023, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time ever, 65 years after the song’s debut, and was at the top spot for three weeks. By hitting the No.1 spot, Lee broke several records, many of which were held by Mariah Carey and “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” whom Lee beat out for the top. Lee claims just the third holiday No.1 ever on the Hot 100. “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” is also Lee’s third No. 1. She now holds the record for the longest gap between an artist’s first and most recent week at No.1 on the Hot 100, as her first No.1 was her single “I’m Sorry” in 1960. Lee and “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” now also hold the record for the longest climb to the top of the Hot 100, as the Johnny Marks-written hit was released 65 years ago, when Lee was just 13 years old. Now, at 79-years-old, Lee is also the oldest woman to top the Hot 100, surpassing previous record-holders Cher (“Believe,” age 52) and Carey (“All I Want for Christmas is You,” age 53).

Jordan Davis (Easter) OC: …that holiday was. :53
“We would always have the Easter Egg Hunt before church. You know, my mom, she would dress us in these ridiculous, pastel-colored, gosh, good Lord, I’m sorry for saying this, but the worst part about Easter for me is some of the photos I have of what my mom dressed us in. It was hideous! But yeah, that was it growing up. We would have our Easter Egg Hunt, and I think for me early on, and probably like a lot of kids, Easter was another Sunday where it was a very mini, mini Christmas. We’d get some candy, every once in a while, we’d get a present, something that we wanted, we’d go to church, and everybody looked great. It was like the day to wear the new dress or the guys had these crazy ties on or something like that. And it really wasn’t until, I think, I was able to kinda hit my high school years and kind of start to strengthen my faith that I realized how special that holiday was.”

Maddie & Tae (Easter) OC: (Maddie) …hope and joy. :51
TAE: “Easters growing up for the Dye fam, my side, is  when I was younger, we’d go to my grandparents a lot and we’d do the whole Easter egg hunt and we’d go to church. My parents would always dress us up in these really cute springy outfits. But, yeah, Easter with family is always so much fun.” MADDIE: “Our Easter was very similar. My grandma would always get us this white chocolate cross with little flowers on it. It was so delicious. And me and my sister typically had matching dresses, which annoyed me at the time, but looking back it was precious. But Easter for us, Tae and I love us some Jesus! That is our favorite dude ever! (TAE: “That’s what Easter means.”) And so Easter is all about praising Jesus for his sacrifice so that we can know God and Him and just live a life full of purpose and hope and joy.”

TYLER HUBBARD READY TO HIT THE ROAD WITH PAL KANE BROWN.

Tyler Hubbard is experiencing a full circle moment going out with Kane Brown on his In the Air Tour. Years ago when Kane was just starting out, he opened for Florida Georgia Line, and now as a solo artist, Tyler is heading out as direct support for Kane’s massive tour.

“I’ve known Kane (Brown) for a while, you know? He actually opened up for us (Florida Georgia Line) five or six years ago, seven years ago, we were one of his first tours, and I remember a fun story,” Tyler recalls. “Like one of our first shows together, I was out shooting basketball with him, just hanging out and kinda getting to know him, and I was asking him, ‘How long you been doing this? Like, how long have you been playing shows and stuff?’ He was like, ‘This is my sixth show, ever.’ I was like, ‘Dude-six? Like six?’ He was like, ‘Yeah.’ I’m like, ‘Okay buddy, well, good luck! (laughs) There’s only 30-thousand people out there, so…good luck.”

He adds, “It was incredible to watch him take on the challenge and grow a ton on that tour and now it’s full circle. Now I’m getting to open up for him and I’ve watched him play and I’m just like, ‘Wow!’ He’s really grown into something special and he’s just an awesome dude. He’s a great artist. I think he has really found himself and knows who he is and what he wants to be. It’s just cool to see, because it’s not every day that you have that story and not every day that you get to see artists kind of keep it together and be consistent and put out great music and maintain a family and do what he’s doing. So, a lot of love for Kane. I’m excited to be back out with him, and I know we’re going to have a good time.”

Tyler is out with Kane for most of trek, and his dates, which begins with the launch of the tour on Thursday (March 28th) in Charlottsville, Virginia, currently run through June 7th in Raleigh, North Carolina. He will rejoins Kane at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on August 24th.

Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Bailey Zimmerman, Parmalee, Jackson Dean and others will also join Kane on select dates.

Tyler is currently making his way to the top of the country charts with his latest single, “Back Then Right Now,” from his upcoming album, Strong.

KEITH URBAN JOINS NBC’S THE VOICE AS THE MEGA MENTOR THIS SEASON.

Keith Urban is joining NBC’s The Voice as this season’s Mega Mentor. Beginning with next Monday’s (April 8th) episode, Keith will mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the battle rounds and get ready for the knockout rounds. Coaches Reba McEntire, John Legend, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay will choose the inner from their team to advance to the playoffs before the live shows start.

Keith spent a lot of his own time competiting in talent competitions on TV, even when he was just nine years old. While it was a bit of a brutal experience, it made him work even harder on his chosen craft.

“I was on a few singing talent TV shows when I was a kid, a bunch of them actually,” Keith recalls. “The first one I did I was nine-years-old and my Mom and Dad got me on to a TV show called Pot of Gold. It was a singing competition show with three judges, one of whom was just a really unfiltered, unapologetic, vicious, scathing kind of judge. (laughs) This was a long time before Simon Cowell’s template. This guy had it nailed, and at nine-years-old I was subjected to this, and I got kind of crucified by this judge. It didn’t faze me, you know? And then I went on other shows after that, but my experience with all of those was really loving good feedback, constructive feedback, even if it was something I needed to work on. I remember the judge telling me to kindly learn how to sing in tune. (laughs) I’m like, ‘Okay?!’”

Keith has been a coach on The Voice in Australia, a mentor on NBC’s The Voice here in the States and now a Mega Mentor. He also spent several years at the judges table for “American Idol.”  The best part of this kind of job for Keith is the mentoring — helping contestants figure out what they need to work on to get better…in a nice way.

“Just getting good advice and honest advice was something I really loved and needed, so it was a no-brainer when I got asked to do it,” he says. “The first one I got asked to do was be a coach on The Voice in Australia on their first season, and I did it. I loved it. Then I did quite a few seasons of American Idol as a judge on American Idol and loved it. So, when The Voice here in the States asked me to come and be a mentor and now a Mega Mentor, whatever that means – I feel like a Transformer – I jumped at the opportunity, because the mentoring part I particularly love. I love that the most. I love being able to try and help an artist navigate some things they’ve got to work on and try and be constructive and helpful but also do it in a supportive way. Nobody wants to get humiliated in front of people, but you do need honest advice as well, so I love that opportunity.”

Keith previously appeared on The Voice as an advisor to Blake Shelton during Season 15 and also served as a coach in the Australian version of the competition show for Seasons 1, 10 and 11.

Keith recently released his new single, “Messed Up As Me,” and it’s currently closing in on Top 35 on the country charts.

Earlier this month, she was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, her third time appearing on the iconic show.

Critics are heralding her latest album and highlighting it “goes back to the ethereal roots the world first fell in love with,” said ElleThe New York Times called the album “Superb,” and Los Angeles Times noted “Musgraves returns on ‘Deeper Well,’ to the kind of rootsy, hand-played arrangements that defined her early work.” The Cut declared “the songs on ‘Deeper Well’ call back to her singer-songwriter roots” and American Songwriter proclaiming, “this is Musgraves at her finest, mentally and musically.” In the UK, The Telegraph note “this is a brilliant record” in their 5-star review while Sunday Times says “singing this beautiful burrow deep in the heart” in their 4-star review of Deeper Well.
