Moore will be offering fans an inside look at his most recent headlining tour, with an exclusive episode on AT&T AUDIENCE Music Concert Series. Taking the stage at The Wiltern in Los Angeles for a sold-out show, Moore brought fans to their feet with his energetic performance proving why he is “one of country music’s most tireless and powerful live draws” (Rolling Stone). The full concert special airs tomorrow, March 1 at 10pm PT/ET on DIRECTV Ch. 239, AT&T U-verse Ch. 1114, DIRECTV NOW and WATCH TV.
Currently nominated for CMA’s International Achievement Award, Moore recently extended his Room To Spare: Acoustic Tour, following a sold-out run last fall. Moore will head out on the stacked tour next month with shows scheduled in the U.S., Canada and The U.K. Moore recently unleashed his next single “The Bull” from his revered third studio album SLOWHEART that garnered instant praise from critics as the “sound of an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders,” (NOISEY), as well as spawning his fourth No. One hit “More Girls Like You.” SLOWHEART also landed on multiple “Best Of” lists including Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, UpRoxx, Bobby Bones Show and many more. SLOWHEART follows the acclaim that surrounded Moore’s sophomore album WILD ONES and his PLATINUM debut album UP ALL NIGHT that spawned three No. One hit singles, including GOLD certified “Beer Money,” PLATINUM certified “Hey Pretty Girl,” and the DOUBLE PLATINUM breakout hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck.” For more information, visit kipmoore.net.
The Country Music Association awarded Kacey Musgraves with the 2019 CMA International Artist Achievement Award Wednesday night (February 27th), surprising her backstage prior to her performance at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The award recognizes outstanding achievement by a United States-based artist who has demonstrated the most significant creative growth, development and promotion of the Country Music industry outside of the United States during the eligibility period.
Since her first visit to the U.K. in 2012, Musgraves has developed an international touring base, headlining C2C: Country to Country festival in 2018 and becoming the first Country artist to perform at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan before launching her own international headline tour in Oslo last fall, which included a performance at London’s Wembley Arena. This marks the second time Musgraves has received the CMA International Artist Achievement Award, previously winning in 2016.
“Thank you so much to the CMA for honoring me with the International Artist Achievement Award. I absolutely love experiencing new cultures and playing overseas,” said Musgraves.
“Kacey has made touring internationally a huge priority throughout her career,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “We’ve witnessed the international fanbase for Country Music expand immensely and we applaud Kacey for her continued engagement to reach Country fans around the globe.”
The CMA International Awards honor industry executives and artists who have supported and made a difference towards the growth and promotion of Country Music in the international market place. Nominees are recognized in five categories acknowledging their dedication and efforts in growing opportunities for Country Music in their local territories.
Winners for the four remaining 2019 CMA International Awards categories will be presented with their awards in March as CMA hosts several events in international territories including Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Kacey is making her way up the country charts with “Rainbow” from her award-winning album, Golden Hour.
Jordan Davis has a familial connection to his latest hit, “Take It From Me.” He co-wrote the song with his brother, singer-songwriter Jacob Davis, and Jason Gantt, and says the initial idea came from his sibling.
“It was Jacob’s idea. He came in and said he’d always loved that idea or loved that saying and thought that there was a cool way to kind of have a twist on it. We got told a lot growing up, ‘Take it from me. Don’t do that. Learn from experience,’” recalls Jordan. “We initially tried to write it, kind of as a grandpa kind of saying, ‘Take it from me. Do this, do that.’ But I had just written a song about him a couple days before, maybe a week before and those are tough ones to write. I didn’t know if I could do that again. So, I had to find a cool way to write it.”
More real life experience weaved its way into the song, as well. “That John Anderson T-shirt that got stolen from Jacob was the line that kind of sparked that. You know, ‘it’s my favorite, but you can keep it.’ So, it was a fun write. It was a fun write.”
Jordan, who is currently on the road with Old Dominion, is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards on April 7th.

Luke Bryan‘s “What Makes You Country” climbs to the top spot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart this week. He co-wrote the tune with his buddies Dallas Davidson and Ashley Gorley, and he says it describes exactly how he grew up in Georgia.
“I think that what makes me country is where I was raised — Leesburg, Georgia — how I was brought up saying ‘Yes sir,’ ‘No sir,’ ‘Yes, ma’am,’ ‘No, ma’am,’ hopefully with manners and raised with a work ethic and raised in the outdoors fishing and hunting and playing sports,” says Luke. “I would say definitely it starts with my small-town upbringing and how we were raised; church on Sundays as much as we could, but [also] just enjoying life and living life in a small town.”
Luke is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, an award he’s taken home twice, and Single of the Year for “Most People Are Good” at the 54th Annual ACM Awards, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 7th at 8pm ET on CBS.

“I know they’ll go away with a good album. And they’ll learn that I like to make music that makes you feel good and my album I’m always going to try to where you can just press play and let it play and just do whatever you want and listen to it, work on your homework, wash your car, mow your lawn. I don’t know. It’s definitely a project where you can let it play and you can just let the time pass by in a good spirit and good lyrics and a good time. Hopefully they walk away with this album and say man I really want to go see that guy live. I want to see what this is about.”
Dierks Bentley rattled Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Friday (February 22nd) during his sold-out hometown stop on the 2019 BURNING MAN TOUR in partnership with 5-hour ENERGY®. He “kept the audience on its feet” (Billboard) for more than four hours with stacked fan-favorite hits and new music off his critically-acclaimed album THE MOUNTAIN, including his new single “Living.”
Featuring direct support from Jon Pardi and Tenille Townes, this tour “is one not to forget” (Music Row) as “Country music’s most endearing and enduring superstars” (The Tennesseean) filled his set list with show-stopping moments and special guests including Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban and Sawyer Brown’s Mark Miller.
“Any questions as to his top-tier acclaim — and why he deserves to be included in any ‘Entertainer of the Year’ conversations — were erased with Friday’s performance. Many Country artists throw around the word ‘real’ to describe their music, but Bentley doesn’t have to preach it; rather, he manifests it with his ultra-personal material.” – Rolling Stone
“He’s dedicated to giving fans the best performance possible. He makes working an arena look effortless….the result was Bentley carried the show with his songs, friends and familiar ease that makes fans feel like they’re all good buddies.” – The Tennessean
“A night of surprises, heartfelt ballads and sing-along anthems, Bentley’s headlining show further cemented his future ‘Entertainer of the Year’ status.” – Billboard
Bentley’s 90s cover band Hot Country Knights set the tone for the night as they brought out Thomas Rhett incognito as cousin “Daryle” who sang father Rhett Akins’ hit “That Ain’t My Truck,” while Mark Miller from Sawyer Brown later joined for “Some Girls Do.” Starting to feel like a family affair, Bentley’s alter-ego “Doug” was joined by his daughter Jordan, “Lil Doug,” as they serenaded the crowd.
When it came to his headlining set “Bentley left it all on the stage” (Taste of Country) and “cement[ed] his A-list status” (Rolling Stone) by delivering deafening sing-alongs and highlights that included a re-introduction to Townes on “Different for Girls” along with a special rendition of “Travelin’ Light” with his oldest daughter Evie. “Making for a true ‘only in Nashville’ moment” (Billboard), Bentley welcomed Urban for a rollicking collaboration on the title-track to his recent critically-acclaimed album before Lambert appeared for a medley of classic Country hits including Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” Merle Haggard’s “The Bottle Let Me Down,” Loretta Lynn’s “Blue Kentucky Girl” and Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away.” Known as “a night of great music, real fan connection and a lot of fun” (Music Row), Bentley closed the show by parlaying through the crowd and out the front door to keep the party going to lower Broadway at his bar, Whiskey Row.
Bentley continues to be a dominant voice for the genre with over 8.6 billion overall digital streams. Reaching a new creative high while “making music designed to challenge” (New York Times), Bentley co-wrote 10 of 13 tracks on his current album THE MOUNTAIN (Capitol Records Nashville), which earned him the highest debut sales of his career and became his seventh chart-topping album. Bentley has amassed 18 career No. Ones, billions of digital streams, countless nominations from the ACMs, CMAs, Billboard Music Awards and more, while also earning 14 GRAMMY nominations. His BURNING MAN TOUR picks back up Thursday (2/28) in the Midwest. For more information and a full list of tour dates, visit www.dierks.com.
