The song has quickly become the smash hit of the summer and was filmed last month outside of Nashville on Dale Hollow Lake at the Sunset Marina & Resort and was directed by Michael Monaco. “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” was written by Zach Crowell, Ryan Hurd and Chase McGill and can be found on Luke’s What Makes You Country album.

TRAVIS DENNING’S FIRST CONCERT HE ATTENDED WAS NOT YOUR TYPICAL FIRST SHOW.

Travis Denning has always loved music and knew at a young age that he wanted to play music for a living. His grandparents and parents indulged him when it came to attending concerts, including shows a pre-teen wouldn’t typically choose.

“I think the earliest memory I have of a concert that I looooved was actually Atlanta Rhythm Section and Little Richard played Macon, Georgia, and my grandfather was the biggest Little Richard fan in the world. He loved Rock ’N Roll. I’ll never forget that show and just being like, ‘Man! That guy up there’s old, but he’s killing it. He’s still got it,” Travis recalls. “The first concert that I begged my parents to take me to was Motley Crue, and they took me. My dad took me, and at 12-years-old I realized that was probably not the best place for a 12-year-old to be, but man, it just fueled the fire as hard as it could’ve.”

Travis just released the official video for his debut song, “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs,” which you can view below.

KEITH URBAN AND JULIA MICHAELS MAKE A GREAT MUSICAL TEAM.

Keith Urban’s latest hit, “Coming Home,” features singer-songwriter Julia Michaels, who also had a hand in writing the song from his Graffiti U album released earlier this year. He came across her song “Issues,” and then immediately wanted to hear more from the pop songstress.

“She put out a song called ‘Issues,’ and I loved it, and then I got her EP and there’s maybe just 7 or 8 songs on it, but I literally loved every single song on that record and I thought I just got to figure out if I can write with her someday,” says Keith. “And her and two of the writers, we got together one day, and we wrote a song called ‘Gemini,’ which is on the album. And then I was working on this song called ‘Coming Home,’ and I needed, I just wanted some more color on finishing out the song, so I called in Julia and she helped me finish it out and then sang on the bridge.”

Julia, who also co-wrote the song “Gemini” with Keith, says collaborating with Keith is amazing. “Keith has so many ideas, and the fact that he can literally hop on the guitar and play something so effortlessly or hop on the banjo and play that just as effortlessly, and melodically so in tune with himself. All the lyrics have to matter to him. Everything has to mean something to him, and that’s really important when it’s your song and it’s your voice and it’s your music. You have to make sure that it’s you and he does, and it’s really cool to watch.”

Keith takes his Graffiti U World Tour to Mountain View, California on Thursday (July 19th), followed by a two-night stand in Lake Tahoe on Friday (July 20th) and Saturday (July 21st).

Audio / Keith Urban talks about “finding” Julia Michaels and collaborating with her on two of the songs from his latest album, Graffiti U.

LADY ANTEBELLUM AND DARIUS RUCKER PREP A SHOW YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS ON THEIR SUMMER PLAYS ON TOUR.

Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker launch their Summer Plays On Tour Thursday night (July 19th) in Toronto, Ontario, and there will be lots of collaborations between the two superstar acts, especially since they’ve recorded and written together.

“We have a lot of things together,” says Lady A’s Charles Kelley. “I don’t know if many people know this – we sing on ‘Wagon Wheel.’ We sing the backgrounds on ‘Wagon Wheel’ together, and we just have a really strong relationship together. I actually co-wrote ‘Homegrown Honey’ with him. So, we’ll have a lot of fun, collaborative moments.”

Those moments and many others you’re not going to want to miss. You might want to take a potty break or invest in adult diapers before either of them hit the stage…just in case.

“I think more than anything, we just feel like this is gonna be a great ticket together. We really do,” adds Charles. “I mean I think people are looking for a night where they come, and we want them to like have to literally hold their bladder, like they’re afraid to go to the bathroom ‘cause they might miss something, and that’s what it’s gonna be. If you go to the bathroom or you go get a beer, you might miss your favorite song and I love that! I want you to pee your pants when you come to see Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum.”

The members of Lady Antebellum are currently making their way up the country charts with “Heart Break,” while Darius, along with Charles Kelly, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, has hit the airwaves with “Straight to Hell.”
