  • CARRIE UNDERWOOD PREPS BRAND NEW ALBUM, DENIM & RHINESTONES.

Carrie Underwood is set to release her highly-anticipated album, Denim & Rhinestones, next Friday (June 10th, 2022).

The global superstar co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks on Denim & Rhinestones with many of her frequent collaborators such as David Garcia, Hillary Lindsey, Josh Miller, Ashley Gorley, Josh Kear, and Chris DeStefano, who have written many of her biggest hits. She also welcomes more recent co-writers on the album, including Michael Hardy and Lydia Vaughan, the latter of whom co-wrote “If I Didn’t Love You,” Carrie’s multi-week #1 smash hit duet with Jason Aldean.

She wants fans who listen to the album to feel joyous and have a good time. “I hope when fans listen to the album, Denim & Rhinestones, that they just feel happy,” says Carrie. “When we set out to make this entire project, I walked in the writing room with my co-producer David (Garcia), and he’s like, ‘Well, what are we doing? What do you want to do?’ And I said, I just want to have fun. I feel like over the past couple of years, everybody’s been a little cooped up and just need some fun in their lives. You know, thinking about taking all of these songs on the road, I just wanted to think about as we were writing and as I was choosing songs, which ones would be great live. I love this album so much. It makes me happy. I hope they learn a little bit more about my musical influences and things that I like, because I feel like a lot of those just worked their way into this album. But, most of all, I just want them to feel happy, I want them to dance, I want them to sing and just have a good time with it.”

Denim & Rhinestones is the latest project between Carrie and David Garcia, having co-produced her critically-acclaimed 2018 release, Cry Pretty, which marked the first time she produced her own album.  Garcia and Carrie also co-produced her 2021 GRAMMY® Award-winning album of gospel hymns, My Savior.

    Denim & Rhinestones Track List:

    1. Denim & Rhinestones (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey)
    2. Velvet Heartbreak (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Hillary Lindsey)
    3. Ghost Story (David Garcia, Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey)
    4. Hate My Heart (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Michael Hardy, Hillary Lindsey)
    5. Burn (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Ashley Gorley, Hillary Lindsey)
    6. Crazy Angels (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Lydia Vaughan)
    7. Faster (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Hillary Lindsey)
    8. Pink Champagne (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Ashley Gorley, Hillary Lindsey)

    11. She Don’t Know (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Hillary Lindsey)
    12. Garden (Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, Josh Miller)

Carrie’s current single, “Ghost Story,” which is from her new album, is closing in on the Top 20 on the country charts.

It was just announced that Carrie will be performing a one-night-only live performance from The Historic Bell Tower in Nashville to celebrate the release of her new album, Denim & Rhinestones. The track will hit country radio airwaves with an official add date of June 6th. “What My World Spins Around” is penned by Davis alongside Matt Dragstrem and Ryan Hurd. Produced by Paul DiGiovanni, the up-tempo track is paired with heartfelt lyrics, “I finally get it now when they say you know, you know” and “Watching you watch the sun going down, That’s what my world spins around.”

“This song is a reflection of me writing what I know from the place I am in my life, and letting that drive the music,” shares Davis. “It’s already been a fun one to play live and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

“What My World Spins Around” is the first look at new music for Davis, following his Platinum-certified single “Buy Dirt” (feat. Luke Bryan). Topping the Country radio airplay charts for two weeks and amassing more than 524 MILLION global streams, Davis delivered high-profile performances of the song on both The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Buy Dirt” tallied multiple awards nominations as a finalist for Top Country Song at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, nominated for Musical Event of the Year at the 55th CMA Awards, and for Music Event, Single, and Song of the Year at the 57th ACM Awards. “What My World Spins Around” Lyrics:

I love a first cast when the water’s glass

And the line starts to run

Or that first sip of a cold beer

    When the working week’s done

I love the twilight in the morning

    ‘Fore the day wakes up

And the windows down on the first ride

    In a paid up truck

And I love a slow down in a beach town

    With an ocean view

And I love a first fall Saturday trip

    Down to Baton Rouge

And I love a six string with the stars out

    And the campfire glow

But girl, that don’t even come close

To the way that it feels

When you lean in and kiss me

    The way that you dance

    When you get kinda tipsy

    I’m wrapped ’round your finger

    Like this ring I’m wearing

That look in your eye, girl

    When you catch me staring

I don’t even know what it is

But now that I found it

I can’t imagine me living without this

Back 40 view on our piece of ground

Watching you watch the sun going down

That’s what my world spins around

Well, I finally get it now

When they say you know you know

And yeah, girl you had me

    From that first hello

    And the only thing better

    Is heaven above

    But until I get there

    I’ll never get enough of

    The way that it feels

When you lean in and kiss me

    The way that you dance

    When you get kinda tipsy

    I’m wrapped ’round your finger

    Like this ring I’m wearing

That look in your eye, girl

    When you catch me staring

I don’t even know what it is

But now that I found it

I can’t imagine me living without this

Back 40 view on our piece of ground

Watching you watch the sun going down

That’s what my world spins around

    What my world spins around

    Oh yeah

    The way that it feels

When you lean in and kiss me

    The way that you dance

    When you get kinda tipsy

And I’m wrapped ’round your finger

    Like this ring I’m wearing

That look in your eye, girl

    When you catch me staring

I don’t even know what it is

But now that I found it

I can’t imagine me living without this

Back 40 view on our piece of ground

Watching you watch the sun going down

That’s what my world spins around

You’re what my world spins around

    What my world spins around

32 Bridge Entertainment / EMI Records Nashville recording artist Jon Langston is giving his take on NF’s “If You Want Love,” with a compelling cover of the track out today. Watch Langston perform “If You Want Love” here.

“I’m a huge fan of NF,” Langston shared on Instagram, “so getting the opportunity to release my own version of a song that means so much to me is so surreal.”

The emotionally charged rendition follows the release of Langston’s current single “Back Words,” spinning on Country radio airwaves now. He’s on the road now for his headlining ALL GOOD OUT HERE TOUR, hitting Augusta, AR tomorrow (5/28) plus Holiday, FL (6/3), Grayson, GA (6/4), and Myrtle Beach, SC (6/5) next weekend. For tickets and more information visit jonlangston.com.

    About Jon Langston:
Jon Langston grew up in Loganville, GA, listening to music by his heroes Alan Jackson and the Eagles. Earning a Division 1 college football scholarship, Langston always thought football would be a part of his life, but after his sixth concussion left him blind for fifteen minutes, his football career ended abruptly. He picked up his guitar – untouched since eighth grade – and re-taught himself how to play. Performing at open mic nights and honing his songwriting led to the 2013 release of self-penned, “Forever Girl,” the first song he ever wrote, and now certified GOLD by the RIAA. That release kicked off his music career, culminating in sold out shows across the country and over 500 million career streams. Once a fan attending Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour in Athens, GA, Langston experienced a full circle moment by joining Bryan on the Farm Tour in 2017 and 2018, and again as support on his Sunset Repeat Tour in 2019. Langston signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV, management with KP Entertainment, and is the first artist signed under Bryan’s label 32 Bridge Entertainment with EMI Records Nashville. He recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut, where he performed his new single “Back Words” – out now. “Back Words” follows recent releases “Happy Ever After,” “Try Missing You” and “When You’re Lonely,” highlighting his adept songwriting and classic country influences. He released his anticipated EP Now You Know in 2019, featuring six original songs he co-wrote. Langston’s debut major label single, “When It Comes To Loving You” hit No. 1 on the all-genre iTunes Chart and his single “Now You Know” reached the Top 30 on the country radio airplay charts. Catch Langston out on the road for his headlining ALL GOOD OUT HERE TOUR.

  • TYLER HUBBARD SAYS “5 FOOT 9” WAS A GOOD FOUNDATION FOR THE REST OF HIS MUSIC.

You may have guessed Tyler Hubbard’s new solo single, “5 Foot 9,” is about his wife Hayley, however after speaking to her when he got home from the writing session, he discovered he and his co-writers, Jaren Johnston and Chase McGill, shorted her about an inch.

“Well, I got to be honest. I have a confession. I missed it by about an inch. She’s actually 5’10”,” says Tyler. “I went home that night and said, ‘Babe, remind me again how tall you are exactly. You’re about 5’9”, right?’ She said, ‘Yeah, I’m 5’10”.’ And I thought, ‘Well, here’s a new song I wrote today. I’m sorry I cut you short by an inch, but I hope you like it.”

The Georgia native has been writing constantly, including as a co-writer on Little Big Town’s current single, “Hell Yeah.” In fact, he recorded 18 songs for his upcoming project, and “5 Foot 9” kept coming to the forefront as the debut single.

“That song is just a prime example of a great day in the writing room. I was writing it with Jaren Johnston and Chase McGill, great incredible guys and great writers, and a song that just sorta continued to make it to the top of the pile; one of 18 that I recorded, and I I love all of the songs just about equally, which made it very difficult. They all have a different purpose and a different feel, and it’s all a little piece of who I am and tells my story. But I think ‘5 Foot 9’ was a good launchpad and a good foundation for the rest of this music and what’s to come, and my story and where I’m at. And for me, it seemed appropriate. Something about this song felt nostalgic and familiar, but also very simple in the fact that it just reminds me to appreciate the little things in life and things that we, and myself especially, maybe take for granted at times. You know, all the things that I mentioned in the verses and then obviously just getting to sing about the good stuff in life and where I’m at right now and looking around and seeing yeah, my wife, but also my kids and my family, just the life that we’re living right now. We’re really in a sweet spot, and I’m reminded of where that comes from, so I’m hoping this song will do that for the fans.”

For the past decade, country fans have gotten to know Tyler Hubbard as the lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling, record-breaking duo Florida Georgia Line. Hubbard has written seven No. 1 hits for FGL (singing lead vocal on all 19) plus, he has written cuts for artists across multiple genres including Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Chris Tomlin, Nelly and Bebe Rexha.

With 19 No. 1 singles on country radio, countless awards, and sold-out tours, Tyler Hubbard has already had a remarkable career as a songwriter and as one half of multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line. Now ready for the next chapter, the Georgia-native and prolific songwriter has written well over 100 songs as he works towards his debut solo album release on EMI Nashville. The first song, “5 Foot 9,” is out now with more music expected throughout the year.
