RUTHLESS, one of Allan’s most commanding albums to datefeatures exceptional songwriting, and superb instrumentation, and Allan’s unique gift for storytelling, wrapped in his passion for 80s and 90s musical influences.  For the album, Allan teamed up with veteran producers Mark Wright, Tony Brown, Greg Droman and Jay Joyce, and also collaborated with some of Nashville’s top songwriters including Hillary Lindsey, the late Busbee, Shane McAnally, Nicolle Galyon, Ross Ellis, Ryan Hurd, Jim Beavers, Blair Daly, The Warren Brothers and more.  Fans can listen to the new album here: https://strm.to/GaryAllanRuthless

  • GARY ALLAN BUYS A COUNTRY LEGEND’S HOME.

Gary Allan recently moved into a new house right next to his previous house, and it just so happens his new home used to belong to a country legend, the late Conway Twitty. He recently renovated the inside of the house, but kept some original parts of the house.

“I’ve lived next to this house since 2003 and I was renovating my house and I asked if I could tear some trees down in between our property, and they said ‘yeah, we’re moving to Florida, so we don’t care.’ I was like, ‘Wow! Are you going to sell it?’ And they said, yeah, and I think I bought it within like three or four texts,” says Gary. “It was kinda cool – I bought AND sold my house without a realtor. And then I just finished renovating it. We did a lot to the inside. I left some things that were Conway’s originally. I left the patio just like it was, and his widow that came over gave me a tour book that was shot in there. He used to have fan club parties at his house, and he would go in the back and flip burgers for everybody.”

“The house has a really cool vibe. It’s on the point of a peninsula,” he says. “It’s almost got a 360 (degree) view of water, really beautiful and couldn’t be happier. I just finished the renovation, and I renovated the last house I was in, so I feel like I’ve been under construction for five years and it feels so good not to have someone with a hammer in their hand at my house every morning.”

Gary just released his first album in eight years, Ruthless.

With the allure of a modern-day outlaw, Gary Allan has won over fans, peers and critics with his signature blend of smoldering vocals, rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances. While becoming a force on the country music scene, Allan has remained true to his artistic voice each step of the way. In 2016 Allan re-signed with Universal Music Group Nashville, the label home for the entirety of his twenty-four year career. His last album, Set You Free, topped the all-genre Billboard 200, a career first for Allan.  The album also made its debut at the top of the Billboard Country Album chart (for the fourth time in a row) and produced his fifth #1 country radio chart topper with “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain).”  The California native released his first album, Used Heart for Sale, in 1996 and since then has released eight additional studio albums selling over 8 million albums, been certified platinum on three back-to-back albums, and been certified gold five times.  Allan has five No. 1 hits at country radio, fourteen Top 10 hits to his credit and amassed over 2.6 billion total streams.
