• DRAKE WHITE WILL THROW A REVIVAL TO HELP A COUPLE REALIZE THEIR DREAM OF BECOMING PARENTS. (PRESS RELEASE)

Hokes Bluff, Alabama native Drake White, who Billboard Magazine included in their Top 10 list of Country Artists To Watch in 2013, will return home for a special benefit show on September 28th, 2013.  In an effort to give back to the community that raised him. White, who recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut, will curate and perform at the first annual Drake White’s BIG FIRE REVIVAL at Foggy Hollow. Drake was inspired to create this event when he heard of his close friends Micah and Brandi Harbison’s desire to adopt a baby. He plans to return to Foggy Hollow Farm each year making the fundraiser an annual tradition supporting various efforts in the Etowah and Calhoun County communities. Proceeds from tickets sold this year will benefit the Harbison’s in their adoption efforts.

Truly a community event the festival will feature local venders and musicians including The Foggy Hollow Band, Hokes Bluff’s Brooke Danielle Band and Opelika Alabama’s own Adam Hood who was awarded Lonestar Music’s Best Singer-Songwriter, Folk in 2012.  White will also call on other friends to jam throughout the night keeping the evening spontaneous musically. “I want to create a laid back atmosphere full of music, food, family, camping and fun while raising money to give a child a wonderful home,” explains White.

Event organizers will open the farm at noon on Saturday September 28th for concertgoers.  Leading up to the nighttime show will be plenty of family friendly activities including live entertainment for kids at the children’s stage.

The Harbison’s, family friends of White, decided on adoption through Lifeline Children’s Services after accepting the reality that they would not be able to have children of their own.  “About 6 years ago we began a long, painful journey of infertility. It was a time of darkness that led us to the amazing light of adoption,” explained Mrs. Harbison.  “Adoption is a very long and extensive process to go through but it will all be worth it when they hand us our little girl.  There are millions upon millions of orphans in the world and we feel so blessed that God would choose us to be able to make a difference in the life of one.”

Tickets for the festival are $20 for standard admission, $50 for a VIP package (which includes a before show meet & greet, photo and t-shirt.) Children under 12 years old and younger get free admission. Tickets go on sale today and can be purchased online at http://www.crowdsurge.com/Drake-White/ or locally at Gadsden Music.  Tickets are also available onsite day of show for $25 each.

  • LUKE BRYAN ‘CRASHES’ THE TOP OF THE ALBUM CHARTS. (AUDIO)

Luke Bryan’s Crash My Party has crashed the top of both the Billboard 200  and country album charts this week. The new album, featuring the three-week No. 1 title track and his latest smash “That’s My Kind of Night,” sold 527,783 copies since its release (with an additional 586 copies before it hit stores), making it the biggest sales debut for a country male artist since Tim McGraw’s Live Like You Were Dying in 2004. It is also the third highest album to debut across all genres this year behind Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience and Jay Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail. Additionally, Luke is one of only two country artists — the other being Taylor Swift — that have sold more than a half-million copies of an album in a single week since 2008. This is Bryan’s second consecutive Top 200 #1 album.

“I’ve never been this excited about an album that I have put out, and the response I have gotten is really humbling and mind-blowing to me,” Luke says. “I am lucky to have some of the best fans in the world, and I am happy to see them enjoying this album as much as I do. I’m just so thankful for my fans and for Country radio for the amazing support.”

Crash My Party is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year’s fourth studio album, which follows his double-platinum 2011 album, tailgates and tanlines. It’s the second No. 1 bow, following the compilation, Spring Break…Here to Party.

Luke’s tailgates and tanlines album also had a 71% increase in sales, as well, which puts it at No. 4 on the country album charts.

Luke is currently selling out dates on his Dirt Road Diaries Tour, which makes a stop in Bethel, New York Friday (August 23rd).

AUDIO: Luke Bryan says his album “still reflects my sound but you will get to hear a little deeper, different side to me musically as well.” He explains which songs represent that statement.

Luke Bryan (deeper album) OC: …your albums. :47
“I think ‘Drink a Beer’ is indicative of that. I don’t know if I’ve done a song like ‘Shut It Down’ yet, kind of a real, real sexy song. And then there’s ‘Blood Brothers,’ which is such a song that reverts back to the past, those memories of the past and growing up like I did. ‘Dirt Road Diaries’ — that’s a really, really good autobiographical take on my life. So yeah, we did leave a lot out there with what we wanted to do on this album and then when it was time to have fun we made sure we did that too. And ‘Crash My Party’ and ‘Shut It Down’ are two real kind of love songs, and you’ve got to be able to speak the language of love on your songs too and certainly your albums.”

  • EASTON CORBIN PLAYS THE PART OF AN ACTION-ADVENTURE STAR IN THE VIDEO FOR ‘ALL OVER THE ROAD.’ (VIDEO)

Easton Corbin is closing in on the top of the country charts with his latest hit, “All Over the Road.” The video of the song is actually an action-adventure mini-movie, which was directed by Roman White. Easton immediately stopped reading through video treatments when he happened upon the final script, stating, “This is it! It’s totally unexpected. It’s got cops, it’s got car chase, a girl, money, guns…it’s fun!”

While he’s currently out with Blake Shelton on the Ten Times Crazier Tour, Easton will join The Band Perry after the first of the year on their We Are Pioneers World Tour. His first date on the trek will begin north of the border in Penticton, British Columbia on January 9th.

Easton Corbin (All Over the Road video) OC: …it’s fun! :28
“I did have fun making the ‘All Over the Road’ video. It was definitely different than what this song, probably the stereotypical video you would think – which would be riding down the road in a truck with a girl. So, I think that’s what we went for is just something to be a little bit different. Roman White wrote this treatment, and when I first read it, I was like, ‘This is it!’ It’s totally unexpected. It’s got cops, it’s got car chase, a girl, money, guns, I mean, it’s fun!”

  • KIP MOORE IS EXCITED FOR NEXT ALBUM. (AUDIO)

Kip Moore’s debut album, Up All Night, has been certified platinum and features three consecutive No. 1 singles, including his most recent hit, “Hey Pretty Girl.” It’s also the best-selling debut album from any country artist released last year. He has been diligently working on the follow-up, and while the tried-and-true has spawned great success for the Georgia native, he says he’s going to mix it up a little on his next album.

“I cannot wait for people to hear what’s coming after this record. It’s still gonna be me, but it’s gonna be so different than this last record, and that’s what I want to try to do each time,” says Kip. “I want people to have no clue what’s coming next… It’s still gonna capture the essence of what I feel like I am as an artist. It’s gonna talk about a lot of different topics, so I’m really excited about it.”

If you can’t catch him on the road with Toby Keith or his own dates, you can find Kip on GAC in the special, Introducing: Kip Moore, which airs September 1st at 11:30pm ET.

Kip Moore (looking forward to next album) OC: …got to see. :36
“I cannot wait for people to hear what’s coming after this record. It’s still gonna be me, but it’s gonna be so different than this last record, and that’s what I want to try to do each time. I want people to have no clue what’s coming next and the sounds, and I love the difference between [“Somethin’ ‘Bout a] Truck’ and ‘[Hey] Pretty Girl.’ It’s still gonna capture the essence of what I feel like I am as an artist. It’s gonna talk about a lot of different topics, so I’m really excited about it. I’ve lived hard and fast, but you’re always living more and more. The things I liked four years ago that went on this first record, it’s different now because I’m experiencing different things in my life, and we’re always on the road and I’m seeing things I never got to see.”

  • LUKE BRYAN IS A ‘WINNER, WINNER’ WITH HIS LATEST SINGLE. (AUDIO)

Luke Bryan is just like everyone else when it comes to hearing the wrong lyrics in songs…even his own songs such as his smash hit, “That’s My Kind of Night.” The lyrics, ‘Floatin’ down the Flint River/catch us up a little catfish dinner/gonna sound like a…,’ lead into the misidentified words, ‘winner, winner,’ or so everyone believes.

“I was singing ‘winner winner’ in the studio, ‘cause I knew the song from a demo,” Luke tells Chicago’s WUSN. “And I was going, ‘winner, winner,’ and my producer goes, [speaker sound effects], ‘Luke, it’s actually ‘winner, when I.’ And I went, ‘Ohhhhhhhh!’ Hey! It doesn’t matter. It works either way.”

Actual lyrics: ‘Floatin’ down the Flint River/catch us up a little catfish dinner/gonna sound like a winner/When I lay you down/and love you right/Yeah, that’s my kind of night.’

Luke is expected to debut at the top of the album charts this week with his Crash My Party album.
