https://twitter.com/carrieunderwood/status/1635704149361737728

Near the end of her nearly 2-hour set, Underwood proceeded to bring the full house down with a surprise appearance by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, who joined her for an electric performance of the band’s iconic “Welcome to the Jungle,” which Underwood usually performs on her own as her first encore.  The pair first caused a frenzy last year with a surprise appearance during Underwood’s headlining Stagecoach set and she would later join the band for two 2022 performances at UK’s Tottenham Hotspur Arena.

A critical and commercial smash, the tour will play Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center and Portland’s MODA Center before wrapping this Friday, March 17 at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.  Underwood is joined on THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR by special guest Jimmie Allen on all dates. The tour is promoted by AEG Presents.

Sam Hunt released a new song — “Outskirts” — on Friday (March 10th). In the new track, written by Sam with Zach Crowell, Josh Osborne, and Jerry Flowers, the Georgia-native pines over a could-have-been life with a could-have-been wife as the loneliness is amplified by sorrowful guitar.

Listen to “Outskirts” HERE

“Outskirts” comes as Hunt’s recently announced Summer on the Outskirts Tour goes on sale today plus, his sold-out show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium tonight (March 10). For more information on tour dates, visit www.SamHunt.com.

“Outskirts” serves as the latest from the five-time GRAMMY nominee, following a string of recent song drops including “Walmart,” the nostalgic “Start Nowhere,” and his current Top 20-and-climbing radio hit “Water Under the Bridge.”

“Outskirts” Lyrics – written by Sam Hunt, Zach Crowell, Josh Osborne, Jerry Flowers

There’s so much goin’ on in this town
To keep me busy, I’ve been runnin’ around
Up and down all these avenues
Doin’ everything but thinkin’ ’bout you

As long on as I stay on ’em, I’m fine
The city side of those city limit signs
You don’t really cross my mind

But soon as I get out here on the outskirts
I wish I was runnin’ by your house first
Somethin’ ’bout a summer in the south sure
Shines like gold down these old

Round bail river valley backroads
Way back in the holler where the grass grows
God almighty, baby, we were that close
To ditchin’ this town and settilin’ down
Out here on the outskirts

If I’da had a lick of damn sense
I’d be on the greener side of that fence
Little starter house we’ve finally outgrown
1,200 feet we’re ’bout to add on

Smilin’ out there watchin’ them
Big ol’ yellow buckets ’bout to break ground
While you’re shootin’ all my baby names down

But soon as I get out here on the outskirts
I wish I was runnin’ by your house first
Somethin’ ’bout a summer in the south sure
Shines like gold down these old
Round bail river valley backroads
Way back in the holler where the grass grows
God almighty, baby, we were that close
To ditchin’ this town and settilin’ down
Out here on the outskirts

I’m over all these Saturday nights
I miss the stars in your eyes

We were gonna give up on the fast life
Have a couple babies, raise ’em up right
Take ’em to the river, get ’em baptized
Back in our day, if I’d just stayed

I wouldn’t be livin’ in this condo
Hangin’ out with Hailey from Toronto
God almighty, baby, we were that close
Ditchin’ uptown, puttin’ roots down
Out here on the outskirts

Sam Hunt (Outskirts) OC: …gist of it. :55

“It’s going to sort of be in line with this character who has come to a crossroads in his life between sort of choosing the world and his dreams and maybe a family and future kids and his roots. And as he gets off down the road, out into the world, he’s kind of looking back like, uh, did I do the right thing here? That’s kind of the theme that runs through most of these songs that’ll be coming out here. But it’sthe idea is, uh, that, you know, he’s living in town and fills his schedule and always busy just trying to find his way in the world. And it’s easy to do in town, but as soon as he gets out, out on the outskirts of town, he’s reminded of the choice, the road he didn’t take, and he’s second guessing whether or not he’s on the right path or not. So that’s essentially the gist of it.”

PARKER MCCOLLUM RELEASES “SPEED” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM, NEVER ENOUGH, AVAILABLE MAY 12TH.

Parker McCollum is sharing another look at his anticipated forthcoming studio album, Never Enough, with the new track “Speedavailable everywhere today. Already a fan-favorite at his sold-out live shows across the country, McCollum co-wrote “Speed” with Ryan Beaver.

“My song ‘Speed’ is about my obsession with living fast. Life is always going a hundred miles an hour and it’s important to try and be aware of that and slow things down every now and then. As you get a little further along in life you start to enjoy the slow and easy life. It takes a little reflection and a little step back from everything to realize how important it is.” — Parker McCollum

Listen to “Speed” HERE.

Never Enough, out everywhere May 12th, will also feature Top 10-and-climbing lead single “Handle On You,” as well as recent releases “Stoned” and “I Ain’t Going Nowhere.” Fans can pre-order Never Enough on CD and vinyl here, with a special signed white vinyl and signed CD exclusively available at ParkerMcCollum.com.

Earlier this week, McCollum took part in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s American Currents: State of Music exhibition unveiling, which highlights the country music landscape over the past year. The exhibit explores musical developments, artist achievements, and notable events, as determined by the Museum’s curators and editorial staff. DIERKS BENTLEY IS “MADE FOR BEING ON TOUR” – TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW FOR GRAVEL & GOLD TOUR.

Dierks Bentley continues “giving the Country mainstream some well-crafted edge” (Newsday)with the release of his 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD, and first tickets are now available for his GRAVEL & GOLD TOUR, produced by Live Nation. Bentley will road-test the new music that “testifies to everything Bentley does so well” (Esquire)this summer with Jordan Davis as direct support and a diverse group of special guests joining throughout including Elle King, Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Braden, Caylee Hammack, Hot Country Knights, Kameron Marlowe, The Cadillac Three, The Red Clay Strays, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Shane Smith & the Saints, Caitlyn Smith and Hailey Whitters. The “consummate Country storyteller” (The Sun Chronicle) will launch the the 28-city trek on Jun. 1 in Toronto, ON. Fans can get more ticket information at Dierks.com and see why Bentley is “made for being on tour” (Albuquerque Journal) below.

GRAVEL & GOLD has sparked critical approval and generated multiple memorable national television appearances already, “proving indeed why he is one of Country’s biggest stars,” (TODAY). Bentley discussed the writing process behind the album with the TODAY show here along with performances of his Top 15 single “Gold,” “the swampy rocker” (Rolling Stone) “Same Ol’ Me,” as well as his No. One hit “Free & Easy.” Bentley also invited bluegrass legend Sam Bush to accompany him for a performance of “Sun Sets in Colorado” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and took CBS Mornings to his Whiskey Row location on Nashville’s Lower Broadway to reflect on the journey to GRAVEL & GOLD here.

“Bentley excels at bringing people together and right when the genre needs it most.” – Rolling Stone

“Bentley gets stronger and stronger with every release and is one of the few artists that can go from bluegrass to Country” – Billboard

“Revives his Country roots and sonic identity with GRAVEL & GOLD.” – USA Today

“Bentley has keenly merged Country, bluegrass and rock into his sound…demonstrating his love not on for those genres, but music at large.” – American Songwriter

“The 14-track record puts the Grand Ole Opry member’s range on full display as he beautifully blends bluegrass with contemporary country.” -Music Row

“The musicians’ skill level transcends genres and speaks to players and fans in the rare universal language that emerges when musicians are inarguably elite.” – CMT

The 10th album landmark speaks to how time has flown in Bentley’s unique, 21st-century career. He landed his first publishing deal in 2001 and released his debut album in 2003, producing an instant No. One single. The years since have revealed a rare consistency that’s fueled longevity – eight more albums that reached the top of the Country sales charts, resulting in 21 No. One songs, eight billion streams, three CMA Awards, 14 GRAMMY® nominations and membership into the Grand Ole Opry. Trendy sounds have ebbed and flowed around him over these two decades, but fans have relied on Bentley for something more nourishing and individual. He also has created professional endeavors outside of the music with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” franchise hosting four locations. For more information visit www.Dierks.com.

Dierks Bentley (rotating opening acts) OC: …capacity. :54
“Before Jordan, you know, I really just want to kind of bring as many people out as possible, so just going to have an alternating group of people that I’m just huge fans of. Molly Tuttle’s coming out doing some shows, which is going to be ridiculous. The whole band’s gonna be sides stage and crew watching her show every night. Elle King’s gonna come out and do some shows. The Red Clay Strays, who I discovered at my Seven Peaks Festival, are going to come out. I mean, that band is just over the top good. Hailey Whitters is coming out for some stuff. The Cadillac Three might be out there for some things; one of my favorite bands of all time. So, it’s going to be really exciting to have that kind of roving cast in the front, and then the stability of Jordan Davis getting the job done every night. And I didn’t know if the Hot Country Knights are going to make it this year or not, but, like Travis Denning, he was very disappointed to hear that they might not come. So, he’s requested the Knights come out for one final tour. So, this might be it for the Hot Country Knights, but they are, they will be out there with us in some capacity.”

“The War And Treaty bare their souls with scorched-earth vocals and heart-rending, confessional songwriting.” – Holler

With a lionhearted sonic blend – both roaring with passion and tender to the touch, they “are making soul moves that are captivating everyone who sees them,” (HITS Magazine). Earning respect, they’ve gone on to appear as top-flight collaborators, and have been recognized by the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry, and the Americana Music Association as 2022 Duo/Group of the Year. With more than 100 shows last year, the duo has dominated stages across the globe including North America, Europe, Italy, Australia, and Ireland, while headlining their own shows and opening for a diverse group of living legends: Al Green, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, John Legend, Lauren Daigle, and Van Morrison among them. The War And Treaty (Lover’s Game) 1 OC: …was honest. 1:26
TANYA: “We come from so many different places with music. I mean, we love blues, and when you think of country music and people always ask, ‘Why are you signed to a country music label?’ Well, blues, jazz, gospel, all of the things that make up who we are, you know, what we grew up listening to, even Calypso. My mother was Hispanic, so we grew up listening to all different styles of music. And then the Country music genre itself, it really exemplifies the kind of lifestyle that Michael and I have. It’s the one music you can have fun, you can drink a beer, you can talk about your faith, you can have a good time and it encompasses that sound, so you can write about all those things and the storytelling is there as well.” MICHAEL: “But with this album, if you don’t mind me interjecting, I think that the main focus was to let it just pour out of you however it’s gonna come out and intentionally given the sound of our love. Sometimes our love has the heartbreak of a country or a blues song; sometimes our love has the elegance and smokiness of jazz or the sexiness of R&B or the urgency salvation of gospel and Christian. So, we just wanted it to sound the way we felt and that was honest.”

Audio / The War and Treaty's Michael and Tanya talk about how their new album is a gift of love.

The War And Treaty (Church of The War and Treaty) OC: (Michael) …gift of love. :34
TANYA: “It’s what we say at our shows, you know, ‘Welcome to the Church of The War and Treaty and the message you’re gonna get here is love, love, love, love.’ That’s it. That’s how we introduce them to our shows, every show.” MICHAEL: “That’s our saying, all the time. It’s very important that you remember just how powerful love is, and love is not cliché, no matter how you slice it. Love never goes out of style, love is always in, and what we all need now is love and so this record is Tanya and I’s gift of love.”

DALTON DOVER’S “GIVING UP ON THAT” MOST ADDED AT COUNTRY RADIO.

As a Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, Dalton Dover continues to reach new career milestones with the debut of his first single via UMG Nashville/ Mercury Records, as Giving Up On That is the most added song at Country radio with 60 first week stations, along with fans streaming the song and garnering over 1 million streams in the first two weeks of its release.

“To have this much support on my first official single is such an incredible feeling,” shares Dover. “Thank you to my team for believing in me and this song and thank you to Country radio for your excitement and enthusiasm. This is definitely a week I’ll never forget!”

Written by Dover with Adam Craig and Josh Pierce, “Giving Up On That” showcases Dover’s sharp vocals as he pleads with a long-gone lover, recounting his previous screw-ups and outlining the steps he’s taken to prove his loyalty and his desire to try again, as Country Now lauds “Dalton Dover is off to a roaring start in 2023,” with The Boot praising, “this heartbreak track has all the makings of a country radio hit,” while MusicRow boasts, “This power ballad of regret and yearning gives him a super showcase for his dynamic, whisper-to-a-scream vocal ability. A solid winner. Make this man a star.”

This week, Dover prepares to make his international debut at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour in April. This summer, the Georgia native will perform at the 50th Anniversary of CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium’s Platform Stage and Chevy Vibes Stage. Dover honed his captivating live show last year with two performances at CMA Fest, opening for Luke Comb’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium show in Atlanta, Ga. and joining Priscilla Block’s Welcome To The Block Party Tour.

After being named a Spotify 2022 Artist to Watch, he released “Hear About A Girl,” earning praise from Billboard noting, “Dover’s voice is both intimate and commanding on this track,” while MusicRow asserts it confirms “we’re in the presence of a master country talent when this man sings…Make him a star. Now.” He followed the song with “Damn Good Life,” with The Boot sharing, “Dover is savoring every moment in his uplifting new single,” while Country Now observes, “Between the optimistic narrative that Dover delivers through his crisp vocals and the carefree tune highlighted by the impressive guitar strum, nothing but a good time can be had when this song comes through the speakers.”

In addition to a deal with UMG Nashville, Dover has signed with Sony Music Publishing in partnership with Droptine Music Publishing along with United Talent Agency.

About Dalton Dover
Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” Dalton Dover’s current single “Giving Up On That” via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records was the most-added track at Country Radio upon its debut with 60 first week adds and garnered over 1 million streams in the first two weeks of its release. Named a Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, he will make his international debut in March at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour in April. Dover first started singing at church as a kid, winning his fifth-grade school talent show performing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” In that moment Dover’s love of performing was born. By the age of 16 he had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover. His debut track “You Got a Small Town,” produced by McV, quickly garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, MusicRow, Country Now and Wide Open Country. With his debut and his follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch along with a spotlight as Billboard’s February Country Rookie of the Month and a nod for MusicRow’s 2022 Discovery Artist of the Year. After opening for Luke Comb’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium show in Atlanta, Ga., Dover set out on a seven-date run of his own headlining shows, performing across multiple locations of Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, followed by Priscilla Block’s Welcome To The Block Party and his debut at the Grand Ole Opry.
