• LADY ANTEBELLUM RELEASE THEIR NEW HEARTLAND HOME COLLECTION AT BED, BATH & BEYOND.

Have you ever wanted to live like the members of Lady Antebellum? Besides having a music career, you’re now able to, thanks to their new Heartland Home Collection.  The line, featuring Americana-inspired bed and bath lines inspired by the band’s lifestyle, songs and stories, is now available at Bed, Bath & Beyond stores around the country. The collection also has its own tour bus that will travel with them on their Wheels Up 2015 Tour, which kicks off Friday (May 1st) in Lubbock, Texas.

“I actually am kind of picky about my sheets on my bed,” says Lady A’s Hillary Scott. Bandmate Charles Kelley agrees. “I’m a sheet guy. I don’t like a big comforter, it’s too heavy. That’s where my wife and I, it’s a constant ‘How heavy is the comforter supposed to be?’”

The line, which includes 18 items for the bedroom, including throw pillows, pillow shams, curtains and comforter sets, embraces the comfort, simplicity and beauty of America’s Heartland.  Featuring an unexpected mix of plaids, florals and solids, the collection offers a fresh approach to traditional American design, finding inspiration from across the country.  The result is a new heritage of authentic home living that feels true and looks fresh every day.

Lady A are making their way up the charts with their latest single, “Long Stretch of Love.”

Audio / Lady Antebellum say sheets are very important to them, and discuss their new Heartland Home Collection at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN WILL ADD ANOTHER ‘GIRL’ TO THE GROUP WHEN THEY PERFORM ON THE BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 1, 2015) – As announced by Billboard and dick clark productions, GRAMMY Award-winning group Little Big Town is slated to perform their latest smash single, “Girl Crush,” on this month’s Billboard Music Awards. The haunting lead vocals from Karen Fairchild will be paired with special guest, superstar Faith Hill, to add another powerful dimension to the heart-wrenching ballad. The awards air Live from Las Vegas May 17th at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

“Girl Crush” saw record sales last week following Little Big Town’s performance on the Academy of Country Music Awards. Once again, the ACM Vocal Group of the Year sees record-setting sales figures on their current Top 20 single. Clearing a 13% sales growth taking the weekly total to over 109,500 tracks, this marks the second straight week “Girl Crush” has set the largest one-week sales figure for a Country track in 2015.  It is also the No. 3 most-downloaded song across all genres.  Overall sales for the song currently top 630,000, and while sales are moving faster than the paperwork, “Girl Crush” is also now officially RIAA-certified GOLD. (The single qualified for Gold recognition after last week’s sales high.)

“Girl Crush” is the follow-up single to Little Big Town’s No. 1, Gold-selling single, “Day Drinking,” off the group’s ACM-nominated Album of the Year, Pain Killer (Capitol Records).

  • CHRIS STAPLETON HAS ALWAYS HAD MUSIC IN HIS HEART.

Chris Stapleton has a voice other artists envy and celebrate, having him guest on many of their songs that he wrote, including the No. 1 “Drink a Beer,” as well as two that are on the charts right now – Gary Allan’s “Hangover Tonight” and Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn.” The gravelly, powerful and touching voice has been in Nashville for the last 15 years and tells us he can’t remember a time he didn’t sing.

“I don’t ever remember not singing. I always sang. I sang with my brother. We would sing at home and sing at church and different things. I don’t ever remember not singing. I don’t have any memory of where I didn’t sing,” says the Kentucky native. “I don’t know how you find that out [of my path as an artist]. I found it out, because I didn’t like anything else. I found out a bunch of things that I was not. I sold cars and drove an ice truck and went to college and did different things, not in that order, but you find out who you’re not. And the thought of doing anything else just made me so miserable. I think that really [laughs] kind of steered my path, for better or worse.”

Chris’ solo debut album, Traveller, is available on Tuesday (May 5th).

“I don’t ever remember not singing. I always sang. I sang with my brother. We would sing at home and sing at church and different things. I don’t ever remember not singing. I don’t have any memory of where I didn’t sing. I was probably terrible. In fact, I know I was terrible at some point, but my parents were kind enough to go, ‘Yeah, you sound great.’ Having parents like that is a wonderful thing when you’re trying to figure out who you are. Beyond that, I don’t know how you find that out. I found it out, because I didn’t like anything else. I found out a bunch of things that I was not. I sold cars and drove an ice truck and went to college and did different things, not in that order, but you find out who you’re not. And the thought of doing anything else just made me so miserable. I think that really [laughs] kind of steered my path, for better or worse. Fortunately, for me, it kind of worked out, but I’m pretty lucky in that way.”

It’s our current single too, which it’s starting to get played more and more every week, and so I think as the tour goes on, people will be more and more familiar with it. • A TRIP OUT WEST LEADS CHRIS STAPLETON TO ‘TRAVELLER.’

Chris Stapleton did a little soul-searching in the desert to really find his “voice” for his solo debut album, Traveller, which comes out Tuesday (May 5th). The collection leads off with the title track, the song that really helped guide the album’s direction.

“My father passed away in October 2013, and [I] had a single die around the same time on radio, so I needed a little head clearing space. My wife had the presence of mind to know me well enough that I needed that. She bought me an old jeep out in Phoenix, Arizona, and we flew out there and decided to drive it home,” recalls Chris. “Along the way, just driving through the desert, I was thinking about life and how we’re all just passing through it and that’s what the song is. So, as I was driving, I was humming lyrics into my phone and wrote the song then and there. Somewhere in New Mexico, probably, that song was born.”

Chris, who penned the No. 1 hits “Drink a Beer” for Luke Bryan, “Never Wanted Nothing More” for Kenny Chesney, George Strait’s “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright,” “Come Back Song” for Darius Rucker and “Your Man” for Josh Turner, wrote or co-wrote 12 of the 14 songs on the new project. The other two are covers of “Tennessee Whiskey,” which was recorded by David Allan Coe, as well as George Jones (and written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove), and “Was It 26,” which was recorded by Charlie Daniels and written by Don Sampson.

You can catch Chris performing on ABC’s The View on Tuesday.
