Nashville, TN – January 21, 2015 – Vince Gill will share the stage and sing along with Ashley Monroe, Charlie Worsham and daughter Jenny Gill on the four-date mini-tour, “Vince Gill & Friends,” March 19-22. The intimate musical experience is a thematic extension of his January round of shows with fellow musician Lyle Lovett.

Singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe is preparing the follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album, Like A Rose, working again with producer Vince Gill. She’s currently enjoying Top 10 success with “Lonely Tonight,” her duet with Blake Shelton. Charlie Worsham demonstrated his showmanship opening for Taylor Swift, and sharing stages with the likes of Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves, while going on to distinguish himself as a solo artist with Rubberband, his debut album for Warner Bros. Records.

An ardent believer that musicians exist to serve the song, Vince Gill says all three guest performers will be on stage with him and his band for the duration of each show.  “This won’t be a ‘guitar pull,’” he explains, “where one person sings while the others listen and wait for their turn.  We’ll all be pitching in, picking and singing harmony for each other and doing each other’s songs.  It will be a musical collaboration—not a headliner with opening acts.”

Gill is one of the most active and awarded performers in modern-day music.  In addition to the nearly two dozen albums he has recorded as a solo artist, he has been a guest artist on nearly 1,000 albums by other singers in virtually all genres of popular music.   A 20-time Grammy-winner, he is also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry.  He has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was recently declared a BMI Icon, an honor reserved for the most influential songwriters.  He is also a member of the Grammy-nominated Nashville supergroup, The Time Jumpers.

Sam Hunt appears on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday (January 22nd) to perform his latest hit, “Take Your Time.” He’s really looking forward to meeting the talk show host.

“I respect her a ton, and I respect her appreciation for music. You see her doing so much for new artists,” says Sam. “I’ve seen segments where she’ll find artists on the internet and have them on and really give them exposure and help them out in a really cool way. I have, right off the bat, a ton of respect for anybody who appreciates music and especially new artists in music in the way that she does.”

Ellen routinely gives her male guests “Ellen” underwear, but just in case she isn’t forthcoming with the boxers for Sam, he’s prepared.

“Actually, my aunt found out I was gonna be on the show, and for Christmas, she got me some Ellen underwear,” he laughs. “I have some already that I may have to tell her that, or I may wear ‘em, actually.”

Sam is also prepping to launch his first headlining tour, Lipstick Graffiti Tour, January 29th at the Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Eric Church is riding high on the country charts with his latest single, “Talladega.” The song, which uses NASCAR references, isn’t about racing, but about taking you back to a specific period of time that was more carefree.

“I think that’s the most interesting thing about the song is it’s about life, and it’s about freezing life and wishing you could freeze life, and we all wish we could do that,” says Eric. “Really what the best of music is what it does is it transports you back to that time and that place that you wish you could’ve frozen, and in a way you can, because the song does. And it takes you back to when you were that age.”

“Talladega,” which is from Eric’s platinum-selling album The Outsiders, is sitting at No. 2 on the country charts.

Kip Moore enjoys watching pro football games. With the loss Denver Broncos – and Peyton Manning – suffered at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts in last weekend’s playoffs, Kip’s attention is diverted to just one player – the Seattle Seahawks’ controversial running back Marshawn Lynch (#24).

“I’m a huge fan of Marshawn Lynch. I know that he gets so much flak for how he’s so bad with the media, but there’s no one in the NFL that plays harder than Marshawn Lynch. I respect watching that so, so much,” says Kip. “I have a feeling that Marshawn Lynch might run his way to another Super Bowl.”
