  • JON PARDI REVEALS TRACK LIST FOR FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, OUT SEPTEMBER 2 TITLE TRACK OUT EVERYWHERE TODAY.

Jon Pardi has revealed the track list for his upcoming fourth studio album, Mr. Saturday Night, out September 2nd. Fans can pre-order the album now and listen to the title track, out everywhere today.

Written by Benjy Davis, Reid Isbell and Joe Ragosta, “Mr. Saturday Night” is a neon-tinged, quintessentially country play on words. The slow-rolling track juxtaposes the high-spirited life of the party, with the desolate guy who goes home to face what he’s lost.

“I feel like everybody wants to be Mr. Saturday Night at one point on the weekend and have a good time,” shares Pardi. “But then you hear the song and – the way it’s so well written – it’s a sad song, but you don’t go there right away, because it’s also a fun song. That’s the thing about ‘Mr. Saturday Night,’ it’s more than meets the eye. It’s all fun until you get to the chorus.”

Mr. Saturday Night follows Pardi’s critically acclaimed, ACM and CMA Album of The Year-nominated Heartache Medication. Tapping some of Nashville’s most esteemed songwriters for the forthcoming project, Pardi has teamed up again with Bart Butler and Ryan Gore to produce Mr. Saturday Night. Including Top 10-and-climbing single “Last Night Lonely,” the album boasts 14 songs steeped in losing, a little loving and what’s in between. The California-born honky-tonker digs beneath the surface in new ways, returning the genre to an era of buckle-polishing dancefloor encounters, yowling bar-room revelers and the occasional strong, silent type ballad.

Jon Pardi’s Mr. Saturday Night Track List:

    1. “Mr. Saturday Night” (Benjy Davis, Reid Isbell, Joe Ragosta)
    2. “Fill ‘Er Up” (Jon Pardi, Ross Copperman, Brice Long)

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN RELEASES NEW SONG “RICH MAN” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM MR. SUN.

On the heels of announcing their 10th studio album Mr. Sun this week, ACM, CMA and GRAMMY-winning band Little Big Town has released the latest glimpse into the new record with “Rich Man” available everywhere now.

LBT’s Jimi Westbrook, who wrote the track, began toying with the idea of “Rich Man” more than a decade ago, with the concept growing more robust as time passed and life experiences happened. After years of the song never leaving the back of his mind and constantly adding to it as life shifted, Mr. Sun became the perfect landing spot for a song that reflects what genuine wealth means to the band.

“‘Rich Man’ has a special place in my heart, and it feels like the most honest me song I’ve ever written,” Westbrook shares. “It is about my love of family and their role in laying the foundation that anchors me.”

Shania Twain (Lyme’s Disease) OC: …again myself. :33
“When I got Lyme’s Disease, I started having problems with my voice.  I didn’t understand the problems. For these many years I researched, seen many doctors, finally got to the bottom of it in Philadelphia with a doctor named Dr. Sataloff. He did all kinds of prodding and poking and testing to finally get down to the fact that I had some nerve damage from the Lyme’s Disease, that the Lyme’s Disease had caused, and that affects the way you phonate, the way you make sound and I just didn’t have the control or the quality of tone that I had had before and to the point where I never thought I would sing again. I believed that that was it. I could continue being a songwriter but as far as being a vocalist, it was over. It was a very, very devastating feeling for all those years believing that I would never sing again. I thought that all I could do musically was be a songwriter for other artists and that I would never sing again myself.”

  • DOLLY PARTON JOINS BILL ANDERSON FOR THE CINEMATIC MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SOMEDAY IT’LL ALL MAKE SENSE” MUSIC VIDEO.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame members Whisperin’ Bill Anderson and Dolly Parton make their music video debut together with video for the emotional “Someday It’ll All Make Sense.” ABC’s ‘Good Morning America‘ premiered the cinematic video online.

“Working with my ol’ buddy Bill Anderson was the most meaningful fun I’ve had in years,” shared Dolly. “I love the song we sang, I love how we sounded together on it and getting to do a video with him was just icing on the cake. I hope the fans enjoy it as much as we enjoyed being together on it.”

The song’s poignant lyrics are brought to life under the masterful direction of Trey Fanjoy (Taylor Swift, Steven Tyler, Paul McCartney, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Loretta Lynn, Jack White), as the video shows the two country music icons journey down the road to hope. “Someday It’ll All Make Sense” was co-written by Anderson with Bobby Tomberlin and Ryan Larkins and is on Anderson’s most recent release, As Far As I Can See: The Best Of, released June 10th by MCA RecordsTo stream or download, click HERE.
Someday the picture will come into focus
And we’ll see it all plain and clear
When we come together in the place He has for us
Where the pain and the hurt disappear

Someday we’ll laugh at these roads that we’ve traveled
    I am completely convinced
That hope never dies or goes out of fashion
    Someday it’ll all make sense

“Hopefully, our song can help bring a bit of levity to a world that seems upside down and sideways so much of the time these days. If it can, music will have once again proven itself to be the optimal healer,” said Anderson.
As Far As I Can See: The Best Of is a collection of 16 songs and shares its name with the current exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bill Anderson: As Far As I Can See. The name comes from the opening line of one of the first songs he ever wrote, “City Lights,” the country classic that was a hit for Ray Price in 1958. In addition to such beloved songs as “City Lights,” “Still,” Po’ Folks,” The Tip Of My Fingers,” and “Sometimes,” the album features a new song with country icon Dolly Parton, “Someday It’ll All Make Sense.” The newly recorded duet is joined by Anderson and Parton’s first-ever collaboration, an incredibly rare demo of “If It Is All The Same To You,” recorded in 1964 and eventually released as a duet with Jan Howard on Anderson’s chart-topping 1969 album of the same name. As Far As I Can See: The Best Of, was released by MCA Nashville/UMe, which has been Anderson’s label home for most of his seven-decade long career. The new project is released in conjunction with the first-time digital release of seven of Anderson’s albums from the 1960s, available HERE.

Mr. Sun is intentionally an emotional record that holds hands well with our last album Nightfall,” LBT’s Karen Fairchild shares. “Mr. Sun is focused on better days ahead, the value of friendships and family; it touches on heartbreak and letting go, but it’s full of sunshine and joy.”

“This album has a special feeling to it. We have collectively been through an unprecedented period making this album,” adds LBT’s Phillip Sweet. “Life is short; we are here to live it with the ones around us, loving them and ourselves the best we can. All the while, thankful for another turn around the sun.”

New and old relationships are woven through the Mr. Sun, with a member of the band writing or co-writing 13 of the 16 tracks, and a grand total of 33 songwriters hailing from 3 countries and 20 different states.
