32 Bridge Entertainment / EMI Records Nashville recording artist Jon Langston will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 22nd. Watch him surprise his band and crew with the bucket-list announcement here. Tickets are available here.

“The Opry is such a sacred place and stands for everything country music is,” shares Langston. “I’m honored to be able to step into that circle, just like my heroes have before me.”

Langston is currently on the road for his ALL GOOD OUT HERE TOUR, with home-state stops this weekend in Tifton, GA (1/21) and Franklin, GA (1/22). For a full list of upcoming tour dates and ticket information, visit http://www.jonlangston.com/tour/.

New music is on the horizon for Langston, following recent releases “Try Missing You” and “When You’re Lonely”. The heartwarming “Try Missing You” video is out now, with Sounds Like Nashville advising, “warning: this song will make you emotional.” Also stacking acclaim, “When You’re Lonely” is praised by Billboard for its “extra edge, thanks to his slightly gritty vocal,” while MusicRow notes the “toe-tapping country rocker rolls along righteously.”

    About Jon Langston:
Jon Langston grew up in Loganville, GA, listening to music by his heroes Alan Jackson and the Eagles. Earning a Division 1 college football scholarship, Langston always thought football would a part of his life, but after his sixth concussion left him blind for fifteen minutes, his football career ended abruptly. He picked up his guitar – untouched since eighth grade – and re-taught himself how to play. Performing at open mic nights and honing his songwriting led to the 2013 release of self-penned, “Forever Girl,” the first song he ever wrote. That release kicked off his music career, culminating in sold out shows across the country and over 500 million career streams. Once a fan attending Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour in Athens, GA, Langston experienced a full circle moment by joining Bryan on the Farm Tour in 2017 and 2018, and again as support on his Sunset Repeat Tour in 2019. Langston signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV, management with KP Entertainment, and is the first artist signed under Bryan’s label 32 Bridge Entertainment with EMI Records Nashville. He released his anticipated EP Now You Know in 2019, featuring six original songs he co-wrote. Langston’s debut major label single, “When It Comes To Loving You” hit No. 1 on the all-genre iTunes Chart and his single “Now You Know” reached the Top 30 on the country radio airplay charts. His recent releases “Happy Ever After,” “Try Missing You” and “When You’re Lonely” highlight his adept songwriting and classic country influences. Catch Langston out on the road for his headlining ALL GOOD OUT HERE TOUR.

  • LUKE BRYAN PREMIERES NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “UP” ON FACEBOOK TODAY.

Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan exclusively premiered the new music video for his smash hit “Up” with Facebook today. The video was shot by Shaun Silva, a director whom Luke has worked with multiple times in the past including videos for “All My Friends Say,” “Country Girl Shake It For Me,” “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” “Crash My Party” and more. Written by Jeremy Bussey, Taylor Phillips, and Bobby Pinson “Up” is the sixth single from Luke’s #1 debuting BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE album that already contains five consecutive #1 singles.   Watch the “Up” video HERE.

The video is set in a barn where a small-town gathering is taking place. The crowd is watching film footage, scenes of weddings, homecomings, and football games. In in the same barn at a different time, Luke performs the song and is watching his own movie. Shaun (director) captured Luke viewing his film for the first time, so his reactions are real and authentic. His footage includes personal videos of his family while he was growing up as well as new footage shot in recent months, fishing with his dad, hunting with his two sons, holding his kids for the very first time. At the close of the video the people of the town are seen lighting lanterns to be lifted-up and released to the heavens.

“When I saw the footage of my boys with both their grandfathers and then the closeup clip of my brother basically looking at me it was so overwhelming,” said Luke. “I could not be prouder, not only of the message of this song, but also how this video turned out.  I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I have.”

Music Row claims “Up” is “Beautifully produced, with airy, echoey space around Luke’s vocal. The melodic song holds snapshots of simple country living. Faith is the key. An endearing single with a new sonic direction for this superstar.” “Up” made its debut on the charts as the ‘most added’ song at country radio and is one of Luke’s fastest rising singles.

    About Luke Bryan
Since his debut, Bryan has garnered 27 No. 1 hits and has more RIAA certified digital singles than any other Country artist with 68.5 million. • BROTHERS OSBORNE READY TO RELEASE THE DELUXE EDITION OF THEIR SKELETONS ALBUM.

Brothers Osborne are getting ready to release the deluxe edition of their GRAMMY-nominated album Skeletons this Friday (January 21st). Scoring a nod for Best Country Album at the upcoming 64th GRAMMY Awards, the critically acclaimed project includes the new tracks “Headstone,” “Midnight Rider’s Prayer,” and “Younger Me.” Pre-order Brothers Osborne’s Skeletons Deluxe HERE.

“Headstone” is produced by Jay Joyce while “Midnight Rider’s Prayer” was recorded at John Osborne’s home studio and co-produced by the duo and, with Willie Nelson’s personal blessing, uses elements of “On the Road Again.” “Younger Me,” also currently GRAMMY-nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, rounds out the Skeletons Deluxe track list.

John Osborne says “Midnight Rider’s Prayer” almost made their previous album, but it didn’t quite fit the duo’s second album. “We almost put this on our previous album Port Saint Joe, but it didn’t quite fit at the time, so we decided to retool to make it sound more like Brothers Osborne sounds these days,” he says. “But we wrote the song back when we were in a van and a trailer and we made this song really dark and minor, and we ended up using the chorus from Willie Nelson’s ‘On The Road Again’ with Willie’s blessing. And it’s just cool. I mean it gives a good window as to lyrically where we came from, but sonically where we’re at today.”

As for the song “Headstone,” the guys got a little “wild and crazy” after partaking of a gift from one of their bandmembers. “We were all set up and ready to play and we decided to take some microdosing of magic mushrooms, which normally you don’t feel anything,” John recalls. “Well, this particular batch that we got from our bass player should have come with a warning because it was way, way stronger than any of us predicted. So, that’s why the song ended up being five minutes of trippy guitar solos (laughs) and changing time signatures and it got really, really wild and crazy. After listening back the next day we thought, ‘Okay, maybe we need to wait on this song for a little while.’ But you know, after these past two years of the pandemic, quarantining, the state of the world, I think that we could all use a little trip right about now.”

Named to multiple end of year “best of” lists, including the all-genre Rolling Stone Best Songs of the Year and Billboard’s 100 Best Songs of 2021, “Younger Me” also topped Billboard’s Best Country Songs of 2021 list. The outlet declares, “The song serves as a beacon of hope for anyone whose early years are filled with doubt, fear, confusion, and just feeling different from those around them.”

The reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year performed “Younger Me” at this year’s CMA Awards and TJ prefaced the performance by sharing, “for many years I would watch this show, year after year, and I always thought how incredible it’d be and I’d dream of being here on this stage, and there were so many things that were so many hurdles for me. And I always truthfully felt like it would never be possible because of my sexuality to be here.” Watch their performance of “Younger Me” here.

    Skeletons Deluxe Track List:

Brothers Osborne (Younger Me) OC: …made it through. :38
TJ: “The inspiration behind ‘Younger Me’ was really inspired by both, really kind of both of our stories and just the different things that we struggled with in our youth and we just made things overly complicated. I truly didn’t think I’d get to this point in my life, and I’m sure John would probably say the same for himself. And we really just wanted to really kind of almost in some ways write a note to our younger selves and just kind of tell them to hold on, hold tight, and hopefully in an effort for maybe other people out there that are going through that currently to realize there will be a moment in your life where you can look back on this and be happy that you made it through.”

  • THE BEST PART OF CHRISTMAS FOR JORDAN DAVIS WAS WATCHING HIS DAUGHTER, ELOISE.

As a father of two young children — two-year-old Eloise and four-month-old Locklan — Jordan Davis had the best time this past Christmas.

“This was Locklan’s first Christmas. Eloise is a little more tuned-in to it, so it really is, there’s no better day of the year than that,” says Jordan. “I think she loves to open presents, and so she opened everybody’s presents, whether it was for her, for my mother-in-law, for mom, it didn’t matter. Eloise was going to help open it. She didn’t care what was in it. She just wanted to rip the paper off. And to be honest with you, that was the coolest thing of, that was my favorite part of this holiday season was just seeing the joy she had for ripping off wrapping paper.”

He said after the second half of 2021, it was good just to spend some downtime with family. “Running so wide open as we did towards the tail-end of 2021 – we played a lot of shows in a small amount of time – so being able to have that time just with family and to slow down, we needed it and I hated to see it go, but I’m glad to know that they had fun.”

Jordan is currently making his way to the top of the country charts with his smash hit, “Buy Dirt,” featuring Luke Bryan.

  • APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE JOSH TURNER SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR THE ARTS.

The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund For The Arts is currently accepting scholarship applications through February 1st, 2022. Established by Turner and his wife Jennifer in 2008, those eligible to apply must be high school seniors from South Carolina wishing to enter the music business or undertake a career in the arts. The scholarship is intended to support students primarily from rural areas, and applicants must be focusing on a career that will introduce them to various opportunities in the music business or some discipline of the arts.

Growing up in rural South Carolina, Turner attended a small school and did not have the benefit of a comprehensive arts program at his high school.  As a result, he felt behind his fellow students upon entering Belmont University as Commercial Vocal Performance major. “I had never been taught music theory or heard about ear training.  It was like a whole new language for me and I felt lost,” shares Turner.  “There were only 75 people in my graduating class, and that translated into ‘not a lot of opportunities’ when it came to music.  We had academic and sports programs, but we never had a consistent music program. We would have a band one year, a chorus the next, but nothing ever lasted.” Turner’s experience at Nashville’s Belmont University, alongside his wife Jennifer’s love of the arts (also a Belmont music major), inspired the couple to start a scholarship fund that would jump-start high school students into a future in the music business or the arts.

The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund For The Arts supports students planning a career that will introduce them to various opportunities in the music business, from performing, writing, or publishing, to managing or producing, or some discipline of the arts, such as graphic design, photography, or painting to name a few. “The requirement to apply for the fund is that the student should be interested in pursuing a job that is directly associated with the music industry or the arts. You don’t have to be a singer or songwriter, so that makes the possibilities endless,” Turner says.

The application can be found at https://www.cfmt.org/grants-scholarships/.

The Double-Platinum-selling “Would You Go With Me,” featured on Your Man Deluxe Edition, recently experienced a viral surge across TikTok leading to a jump in streaming which landed the classic country tune on Spotify’s US Viral 50 along with Spotify Viral charts in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
