    Lauren Alaina
will star in the Hallmark Channel’s “Roadhouse Romance,” the first movie of their 2021 “Fall Harvest” programming event. She will star as Lt. She has a run-in with Luke (Tyler Hynes), a TV director passing through town, who teaches her that sometimes it’s best to look forward instead of looking back.

LBT (Pontoon summer fun) OC: …summertime fun. :13
“It’s just fun. [Jimi laughs] It really is. It feels like summer, and it feels exactly what it sounds like. I grew up on pontoon boats in the summer on the lakes and just having a blast, so it’s good ole clean summertime fun.”

Audio / Luke Bryan talks about the success of “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” which is from his album, tailgates & tanlines.

Luke Bryan (Country Girl) OC: …It shows. :59
“That’s the most amazing part out of the business is to get a song idea and to write it and dream it up to become this big fun thing that you pray it’s gonna be. For it to happen that way is such a pleasure. Me and one of my best friends, Dallas Davison, wrote it and we kind of felt like it was going to be what it is. I think that the song, I kind of compare it to ‘I Like It, I Love It.’ It’s not going to change the world, but people are never going to get tired of hearing it and getting up and dancing and having a big old time to it. And that’s what the song’s about, I felt like when we recorded it, I felt like it was always going to need to be the first single. And it’s fun to have it go this way and to be a big old fun up tempo song that people are wanting to go dance and make up dance routines and party down and have fun with it, it shows.”

Audio / Eric Church explains what the song, “Springsteen,” means to him.

    Download

Eric Church (Springsteen) OC: …my favorites. :44
“The interesting thing about this song is it has probably less to do with [Bruce] Springsteen than it is about what’s happening at this amphitheater up on the lawn. I had this experience. If you’ve had this experience, no matter whether you stay together or don’t stay together, when you hear that person’s music whether it’s Springsteen or anybody else, you always think of the person you were with at that show. And I have that. I just thought it was an interesting story about two people falling in love at a concert, and for the rest of their life that’s the soundtrack. That artist is the soundtrack to their love, to that time. I just love that. It makes me feel 17 again every time I hear it, and I think that other people feel the same way. It’s just a track that I’m very, very proud of. It might be my favorite on the record. I mean, I go back and forth between a couple, but that’s one of my favorites.”

  • TRAVIS DENNING ANNOUNCES NEW STUDIO SET DIRT ROAD DOWN WILL BE AVAILABLE ON AUGUST 6th.

Travis Denning is releasing more music as he gears up to hit the road this summer, announcing today that he will release his sophomore six-song set DIRT ROAD DOWN on 8/6, available to pre-order now here. Denning also shared a new track, “Jack And Coke” taken from the collection, which mixes the dark, buzzy flavor of Denning’s favorite cocktail with a nursery-rhyme setup for an epic heartbreaker on the rocks, available to listen here. The forthcoming release also includes previously released tracks “Call It Country” and Denning’s current single “ABBY” that continues to rack up streaming milestones, with over 27 million streams to date.

DIRT ROAD DOWN also includes three additional new tracks co-written by Denning and produced by Jeremy Stover. Full of energy and blazing guitar solos, clever imagery and a uniquely reverent view of small-town life, each track explores what makes him tick. “Grew Up With a Truck” hitches feel-good country nostalgia to a diesel-powered hook, “I Went Fishing,” allows listeners to get to know the guy behind the guitar and the title track “Dirt Road Down” explores his love of a twisted, pure-country lyric, taking multiple routes to the same romantic destination.

“DIRT ROAD DOWN was about going ‘What’s the next step?’” Denning says, describing his new six-song EP. “It’s kind of cheesy, but to me this release makes me feel like we’ve gone a little further down the path of who I am – which I like to think is a dirt road, for sure. I hope those listening get a piece of me they were expecting with this project, and I hope they get a piece of me that they weren’t, too.”

Denning is currently gearing up to hit the road next weekend as support on Brothers Osborne’s “We’re Not For Everyone Tour,” starting in Philadelphia, PA on 7/29.

DIRT ROAD DOWN – Official Track List:

    1. Call It Country (Travis Denning, Jessi Alexander, Chris Stevens)
    2.  Dirt Road Down (Travis Denning, Taylor Phillips, Cole Taylor, Will Weatherly)
    3.  Jack And Coke (Travis Denning, CJ Solar, Chris Stevens)
    4.  Grew Up With A Truck (Travis Denning)
    5.  I Went Fishin’ (Travis Denning, Thomas Archer, James McNair)
    6.  ABBY (Alternate Version) (Ashley Gorley, Matt Jenkins, Chase McGill)

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, singer/songwriter Travis Denning’s “clever kiss-off” (Billboard) and “wickedly fun good-riddance anthem” (PEOPLE) “ABBY” follows his first No. One and GOLD-certified single in 2020 with the “shadowy” (Rolling Stone) “After A Few.” Accelerating his ascend from a chart-topping single, the song is taken from his debut EP BEER’S BETTER COLD that debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart. Denning first made waves with the release of his Top 40 debut single “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs.” Denning has previously toured with Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson,, Riley Green, headlined his own “Heartbeat Of A Small Town Tour. With over 422 million streams worldwide, Denning has been spotlighted for his head-turning sound and was previously selected as one of CRS New Faces, an Opry NextStage recipient and a CMA KixStart Artist, as he makes his mark within the industry. Inspired at a young age, Denning developed a love for country, pop, rock and heavy metal and started playing local bars from the age of 16, as he built a strong following from his distinctive songs and raucous guitar solos. A prolific writer with an unquestionable stage presence, Denning moved to Nashville and secured outside cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray and more. For more information, visit travisdenning.com.

    Carrie Underwood (Ryman Show) :56
“We wanted to do something special for this album. I think the album itself is very special and I feel like we all need to experience some live music, you know. So, we started thinking about where to perform it and when I think of country music and church and places that are special to me, I think of the Ryman Auditorium. There’s something so special about it. It is an auditorium, but it feels like church, I mean for many reasons. It’s just so beautiful and has such a spiritual feel to it anyway. So, we thought of bringing this album to life and what better day to stream that on than Easter Sunday. So, I’m just very excited. I’m always excited to sing but when you get to do something that’s very intimate and something that feels like home, which again I feel like this whole album feels like home, to do it in a place that feels like home is just going to be extra special.”

Audio / Carrie Underwood talks about CeCe Winans joining her on "Great Is They Faithfulness."

Carrie Underwood (CeCe Winans on “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”) :58
“I feel like one thing I will never forget about the day CeCe and I recorded  ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness ‘ together is when she walked in she was like ‘oh, thank you for having me’ I was like ‘Oh my gosh, thank you so much for coming.’ And she’s like ‘I love this song so much,’ and she said, ‘because he IS faithful.’ And obviously she has this incredible gift from God and uses it, you know, to give back to God, but for her to come in and just like, “Oh my gosh, you believe what you’re singing.’ It sounds so silly to say that. Of course, you should, but then to hear that it’s just like ‘Oh, yes, yeah.’ So, getting to work with her and feel the power that she has in her voice, it was just such a beautiful day and just she’s a light in the world and in music and to me in the studio she certainly was that day.”

  • KYLIE MORGAN RELEASES DEBUT EP LOVE, KYLIE.

Kylie Morgan released her debut EP Love, Kylie today – listen HERE. Produced by Shane McAnally and Ben Johnson, Love, Kylie is wrapped in charisma and filled with personal stories from the talented Oklahoma native. Kylie co-wrote every song on the EP alongside a talented roster of songwriters including Emily Weisband, Shane McAnally, Geoffrey Warburton, Ben Johnson, and more. Kylie’s honest, down-to-earth style reveals a transparency and vulnerability in the stories she tells.

“This EP is the most personal thing I’ve ever created,” says Kylie of releasing her first collection of songs. “Every song is a chapter in my life, and I can’t wait for you all to listen and help me write the rest of the story.”

On Kylie’s brazen, “I Only Date Cowboys,” Billboard draws comparison to Kylie’s childhood hero, Shania Twain, stating, “The rock-rooted country song’s hook does bear some similarity to “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” but more importantly, it helps Kylie solidify her place as one to watch.”

“‘Break Things’ is written as a warning label,” declares American Songwriter. “It’s an apathetic approach to romance, a liability waiver that does not promise safe-handling of fragile hearts. The punchy single offers a light-hearted, yet deep self-reflection. With equal parts wit and candor, Kylie waves her red flags for all potential suitors to see.”

The EP closes with “Mad I Need You,” a swinging, melodic love song from the perspective of a passionately independent woman who is coming to terms with being in love.

Along with the EP, Kylie released the official music video for the lead track on the EP, “Shoulda,” a heavy up-tempo with a sassy, rapid-fire vocal about the should’ve known betters when dabbling with an ex – watch HERE.

Kylie Morgan (Shoulda) OC: …same feeling. :15
“I wanted to write a song that honestly was my relationship with quarantine – all the things we shouldn’t be doing, we all wanted to do. I also love having a good song to be able to work out to and roll your windows down and sing at the top of your lungs. I hope it gives you that same feeling.”
