She helped establish UK and Ireland’s Country To Country Festival, the biggest celebration of country music outside North America, with headline performances during its first year in 2013, and again during its fourth year in 2016, which included a sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena. Underwood’s first UK concert performance included a sold-out night at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall in 2012.

The album’s lead single and title track, “Cry Pretty” was released in April 2018 and debuted as the #1 song in the U.S. all-genres chart. The song also topped download charts in 38 countries around the world and amassed over 3.5 billion social impressions across 66 countries during its first week. North American tour, The Cry Pretty Tour 360, will kick off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC, and will play 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada.  She will be joined by special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June for the North American tour, which is sponsored by CALIA and promoted by AEG Presents. • DIERKS BENTLEY ANNOUNCES THE LINE-UP FOR HIS SECOND ANNUAL SEVEN PEAKS FESTIVAL.

Dierks Bentley announced the lineup of artists heading for the heart-stopping mountain views of Buena Vista, CO this Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30 – Sept 1), for the second-annual Seven Peaks Music Festival. Acts hand-picked by Dierks will include Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Mitchell Tenpenny, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ryan Hurd, Steep Canyon Rangers, The War and Treaty, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack. In addition, Friday’s HOT COUNTRY NIGHT, which was an instant highlight in the festival’s inaugural year, will host Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence, Diamond Rio and Deana Carter with a special performance by Bentley’s own Hot Country Knights. With other stages to be announced in the coming weeks, passes will go on sale March 15th at 10am MT at sevenpeaksfestival.com.

Established in 2018, fans traveled from 49 states and as far as Australia for the inaugural Seven Peaks Music Festival. The three-day, two-stage adventure instantly captured the hearts and attention of fans and artists for the festival’s ethereal, mountainous setting, as well as the unique and thoughtful lineup. With Forbes noting “what sets the festival apart is its location,” as Rolling Stone praised the “community-first, play-every-set take on a country festival,” Seven Peaks is returning for a second year as it continues to showcase “authenticity in every component” (PEOPLE). In addition to the breathtaking setting and first-class lineup, fans can expect multiple fringe activities across the weekend including the return of the Somewhere On A Beach Party and Late Night At Whiskey Row, with AYDAMN spinning all the fan-favorites. ATV Tours, inflatable kayaking, whitewater rafting and more will also be available.

“I am so happy and grateful we get to come back to Buena Vista for the second Seven Peaks Music Festival,” said Dierks. “And I know I speak for everyone that has worked so hard to make this festival a reality when I say that. Even with the huge success of the first year, no one is taking anything for granted. If anything, we are all working harder than ever to make sure this year meets and exceeds the expectations of our returning ‘Peakers’ and completely blow away our first-time festival goers.”

“What I love about Seven Peaks is that this festival felt special from the beginning,” said Brian O’Connell, President of Country Touring at Live Nation. “It also instantly felt like we were all in this together to build something with longevity, from the fans out in the campgrounds, to the artists and teams working together backstage. Working with Dierks and his team, it is a truly collaborative partnership and there’s a lot of respect there. I’m so ready for us to continue to grow this festival, the mountains are calling!”

Dierks Bentley (Seven Peaks 2nd year lineup) OC: …a lot of fun. 1:21
“So, this year, what makes our festival unique I think is, I love three types of music. I love commercial country music, which I do, I love ‘90s country music, and I love the bluegrass, acoustic, red-dirt kind of scene, and I hate to toss it all into one thing, that different side. So, we start off with ‘90s country night, and this year, Deana Carter is starting off. ‘Strawberry Wine’ had a big influence on my life and I love that song. I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it. Tracy Lawrence is going to be there, unbelievable. Diamond Rio and Travis Tritt. My band and I will be on the side of the stage for every one of those performances, like leaning all the way in. And of course, the Hot Country Knights are headlining because we get to, it’s my festival. I don’t know how we’re going to go on after Travis Tritt, hopefully he will have left by then or won’t be watching, because I don’t know if we can do our ‘90s thing with these guys watching us. Although last year, Sawyer Brown, they loved it. They wore Hot Country Knights T-shirts on their set. And the next night, Saturday night, is headlined by Luke Bryan, which is great. And Maren Morris, which we’ve collaborated a bunch together and I love her to death. Mitchell Tenpenny’s there, Ryan Hurd, and a new artist Caylee Hammack who I’m just a huge fan of. And then Sunday it’s us with Jon Pardi, Tenille Townes. She’s like my favorite singer at all right now. She’s so good and such a great hang. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band which’ll be killer.. And then we have a whole another Whiskey Row stage, which is gonna be another… it’s all for me, really. It’s just people I love listening to. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

  • JORDAN DAVIS SCORES HIS SECOND NO. 1 SONG WITH “TAKE IT FROM ME.”

Jordan Davis has topped the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with “Take It From Me,” which he co-wrote with his brother Jacob Davis and Jason Gantt. Jordan says no one knows him better as a songwriter or an artist than Jacob, and it’s been a goal for the two brothers to have a song go to No. 1.

“I know what he’s really good at, and I think he knows what I’m stronger at when it comes to writing. One of the best things too is we both know who we are as artists and we both know what we would sing and what we wouldn’t sing. I mean, there’s nobody that knows me better as an artist or as a writer than Jacob. And so, it helps a ton, and it was a goal of ours to have a song out, have a single together and have it top the charts. It’s been a really, really fun ride to watch this song climb.”

“Take It From Me” follows in the footsteps of his first No. 1 song, “Singles You Up,” and both are from his album, Home State.

Jordan, who is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards, will definitely sing both of his chart-toppers when he performs in Pensacola on Thursday (March 7th), Tallahassee on Friday (March 8th) and Columbus, Ohio on Saturday (March 9th).

  • JORDAN DAVIS’ LATEST SMASH BEGAN WITH AN IDEA BASED ON ADVICE HE AND HIS BROTHER WERE GIVEN AS CHILDREN.

Jordan Davis has a familial connection to his latest hit, “Take It From Me.” He co-wrote the song with his brother, singer-songwriter Jacob Davis, and Jason Gantt, and says the initial idea came from his sibling.

“It was Jacob’s idea. He came in and said he’d always loved that idea or loved that saying and thought that there was a cool way to kind of have a twist on it. We got told a lot growing up, ‘Take it from me. Don’t do that. Learn from experience,’” recalls Jordan. “We initially tried to write it, kind of as a grandpa kind of saying, ‘Take it from me. Do this, do that.’ But I had just written a song about him a couple days before, maybe a week before and those are tough ones to write. I didn’t know if I could do that again. So, I had to find a cool way to write it.”

More real life experience weaved its way into the song, as well. “That John Anderson T-shirt that got stolen from Jacob was the line that kind of sparked that. You know, ‘it’s my favorite, but you can keep it.’ So, it was a fun write. It was a fun write.”

Jordan, who is currently on the road with Old Dominion, is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards on April 7th.
