• JORDAN DAVIS CELEBRATES BLUEBIRD DAYS AT THE BLUEBIRD.

Last week (1/19), Jordan Davis, who is celebrating his multi-week No. 1 single “What My World Spins Around,” hosted an intimate album preview event for his highly anticipated, second full-length album, Bluebird Days, at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. With not an empty seat in the house, the Louisiana native performed several new songs and gave insight into his new album ahead of its February 17 release. Following an intro by UMG Nashville Chairman & CEO Mike Dungan, Davis was joined on the stage by his bandmates and producer, Paul DiGiovanni, and shared personal stories about recording the album before performing several new tracks for the first time including “Damn Good Time,” “Money Isn’t Real,” “Tucson Too Late,” “Fishing Spot,” “One Beer In Front Of The Other,” “Bluebird Days,” “Short Fuse,” “No Time Soon,” and “What I Wouldn’t Do,” as well as his CMA song of the year award-winning song, “Buy Dirt,” fan favorite track  “Next Thing You Know,” and the current No. 1 song of the week, “What My World Spins Around.”

On Friday, Davis also released “No Time Soon” in anticipation of Bluebird Days’ arrival next month, with Billboard featuring its release and MusicRow naming it the “Disc of the Day” noting, “this one’s going straight to the top with no stops.” Written by Davis with Jacob Davis, Josh Jenkins, and Matt Jenkins, the song reunites the same pairing responsible for this year’s CMA Song of the Year “Buy Dirt.”

Set in a bar while Hubbard performs “Dancin’ In The Country,” Crews and his group of biker friends walk in and immediately the unexpected occurs on the dance floor in an extraordinary “bar fight.”

“This video is unlike any video that I’ve ever been a part of,” says Hubbard. “We had the ultimate heavy hitter with Terry Crews on set – he was made for a video like this. One minute, he looked like he was ready to punch a hole in the wall, and the next, he’s got the entire room laughing, just being himself. Terry is one of those guys that everyone wants to be around, and he was just perfect for this video.” Adds Hubbard, “Terry and the dancers brought the choreography to life and were able to tell the story through their amazing dancing.”

“I was so excited to be asked to do this video with Tyler and when I saw the concept, I thought there was no one else that could pull this off,” says Crews. “This video is like a three-minute touchdown celebration, and it was so great to be a part of. For Tyler to allow me to represent something he wrote from his heart means a lot and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

“Dancin’ In The Country” is featured on Tyler’s self-titled solo debut album, Tyler Hubbard, which will be available next Friday (January 27th).

Tyler Hubbard (DITC video) OC: …special day overall. :36
“My reaction to the whole thing was just amazement. You know, I have such an infatuation with dancers and watching them be able to move like the way they move and so fluid and again, bring the song to life and to add that extra element and the dynamic of dancing and the whole concept of the bad biker gang coming in. You think there’s gonna be this brawl and then they’re all of a sudden turning into a big dance battle, it’s a good time. I just sat there and watched in amazement most of the day at the talent that was in front of the camera and behind the camera. So, it was just a special day overall.”

“Working with Tyler has been such a pleasure. You know, representing a song is a very important thing, because for him to let me represent something he wrote from his heart means a lot, because people will always tie you into it. And I feel so welcome, I feel so just at ease being here. I feel like a part of the family, and I’ve got to thank Tyler. He’s a superstar, and it’s so, so good to be here in Nashville doing it for real. This is how it’s done, and I love it! Thank you.”

“This is the thing. I love music. I love country. I love rock. I love blues. I love it all, and this is one reason I host AGT because all different styles come through there and I support talent. And when I got asked to be in a country music video with Tyler Hubbard, I was sitting there like, and what was funny is that everybody that when I told them, they were like, ‘Tyler? Really? Do it! Do it!’ I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I know I’m gonna do it!’ And it was so surprising because you wonder what they want you to do and then when I saw the concept, I was like there’s nobody else I felt that could really pull this off, but me. You know what I mean? (TYLER: “He was made for this.”) I already knew. I knew it. I felt the pull, and they did a great job convincing me that it was gonna be done really well, and it was. It was.”

  • TYLER HUBBARD’S OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR HIS LATEST SINGLE, “DANCIN’ IN THE COUNTRY,” FEATURES A VERY SPECIAL GUEST.

Tyler Hubbard premiered the music video for “Dancin’ In The Country” exclusively on Facebook today (January 18th) and it will go wide on Friday (January 20th). The clip features former pro football player, actor, TV host Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris, The Expendables) as the leader of a motorcycle gang who enters a bar and finds himself in a dance-off.

Tyler tells us he wanted the video to be pretty epic, so it had to feature someone pretty recognizable. “We knew we kind of wanted to kind of go big on this ‘Dancin’ In The Country’ video, and we had a really cool treatment, a cool concept that sort of required an iconic actor, if you will, an iconic face – somebody that would stand out and bring this story to life and really do it justice,” he says. “So, we started a list, me and the team, sort of dream people and at the top of the list was Terry Crews.”

The Georgia native had been a fan of Crews, but became an even bigger fan after spending time with him on the set of the video. “He’s one of the coolest dudes in the world, super laid-back and down-to-earth and funny and humble and just everything you hoped he would be,” says Tyler. “He came in and crushed it. He actually came in a day prior and learned a bunch of choreography and was just really super talented, learned really quickly and really did a great job on set, and the energy was just amazing. Not only Terry, but all the dancers did such a great job. So, the video is really probably one of my favorite videos I’ve ever been a part of and really brought this song to life in a perfect way.”

“Dancin’ In The Country” is the follow-up to his No. 1 single, “5 Foot 9,” and both songs will be included on Tyler’s upcoming self-titled debut solo album, which will be available January 27th.

  • JORDAN DAVIS CELEBRATES FIFTH CAREER NO. 1 WITH “WHAT MY WORLD SPINS AROUND.”

Multi-Platinum CMA award-winning artist/songwriter Jordan Davis earned his fifth career No. 1 single with his co-penned hit, “What My World Spins Around this week on the Billboard and MediaBase Country Airplay charts.

“Huge thanks to my friends at country radio and [the MCA] promo team for believing in this song,” Jordan shared with Billboard. “When Ryan, Matt and I wrote this song, there was always that little feeling in the back of my mind that this one might be special. Pumped that it’s connected the way it has.”

Written by Davis, Ryan Hurd and Matt Dragstrem, “What My World Spins Around” first premiered on the Today Show and was featured on the ACM Honors broadcast. “What My World Spins” around follows Davis’ 2x Platinum, multi-week No. 1 “Buy Dirt,” which he co-wrote along with his brother, Jacob Davis, and brothers Matt and Josh Jenkins; the same writing team behind Davis’ brand-new song “No Time Soon,” out this Friday, January 20th.

In addition to “No Time Soon,” “What My World Spins Around,” and “Buy Dirt,” Davis’ highly anticipated upcoming full-length album Bluebird Days, features several recently released tracks including fan-favorites, “Next Thing You Know,” “Midnight Crisis” featuring Danielle Bradbery, “Part of It,” and more. Bluebird Days is available for pre-order now and is available everywhere Feb. 17.

With more than 4 billion career streams to date, Davis has solidified himself in the industry as one of the most in-demand artists and songwriters. Last year, Davis celebrated several touring milestones including back-to-back sold out nights headlining the Ryman Auditorium, which Music Row noted Davis “rises to stardom, shines on Ryman Stage” along with multiple national sold-out headlining dates, plus Davis joined Luke Combs for the Middle of Somewhere Tour. • DIERKS BENTLEY’S PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR “SAME OL’ ME” CLOSES OUT A HISTORIC ERA AT NASHVILLE’S ICONIC EXIT/IN.

With the recent announcement of his upcoming 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD out February 24th, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley also shares a performance video of the record’s opening track “Same Ol’ Me.”  Shot at the end of December 2022 with the same inner fire of the 18-year-old Country music fanatic who first arrived in Nashville in the 1990s, Dierks performed the last notes of a historic era at Music City’s iconic Exit/In.

“My first time playing Exit/In was just as meaningful to me as playing the Ryman and Bridgestone Arena,” said Bentley. “I opened for Asleep at the Wheel before I had a record deal or anything. A manager was supposed to come watch me play, but they didn’t show up. I had a few too many Busch Lights and passed out under a bench. The last thing I remember hearing was Ray Benson’s booming voice. I woke up around 4:00am and realized I was all alone! It was bittersweet to be in there during the last days of December as they were closing it down. I felt honored to take a shot with the guys and toast to the history there and turn the lights off.”

GRAVEL & GOLD is a diverse, 14-track album about perspective and self-awareness at many levels from the personal to the professional. It’s also a testament to the many strains of country music Bentley has mastered and cultivated in his career, from the arena shaker to the barroom weeper to the bluegrass fireballer. GRAVEL & GOLD is a story of renewal, family, persistence and devotion to making the music as authentic and lasting as it can possibly be. Fans can now pre-order GRAVEL & GOLD and access its first available tracks “Gold,” “High Note” feat. Billy Strings and now “Same Ol’ Me” here.

The 10th album landmark speaks to how time has flown in Bentley’s unique, 21st-century career. He landed his first publishing deal in 2001 and released his debut album in 2003, producing an instant No. One single. The years since have revealed a rare consistency that’s fueled longevity – eight more albums that reached the top of the Country sales charts, resulting in 21 No. One songs, 8 billion streams, three CMA Awards, 14 GRAMMY® nominations and membership into the Grand Ole Opry. Trendy sounds have ebbed and flowed around him over these two decades, but fans have relied on Bentley for something more nourishing and individual. He also has created professional endeavors outside of the music with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” franchise hosting four locations. • JORDAN DAVIS SCORES HIS FIFTH NO. 1 SINGLE WITH “WHAT MY WORLD SPINS AROUND.”

Jordan Davis has hit the top of the country charts with his fifth No. 1 single, “What My World Spins Around.” The song, which he wrote with Matt Dragstrem and Ryan Hurd, is pretty special to Jordan and has been since the day they penned it

“I think we left that day realizing that we had something that felt really, really good, and then when Paul (DiGiovanni) brought it to life, I thought, ‘Aw Man, that might be a hit! We’re onto something.’ But I think for me it’s different,” says Jordan. “Sonically, I haven’t really put out a song that feels that way, and then two, it’s kind of a manly love song. I think it’s just like I love a lot of things that I’m supposed to love, but when it comes to what truly gets me out of the bed in the morning is my family and I don’t know. I think we did a good job saying it in a cool and unique way.”

“What My World Spins Around,” as well as his two-week chart-topper  and CMA Song of the Year “Buy Dirt,” will be included on Jordan’s forthcoming album, Bluebird Days, which will be available February 17th.

“I think we left that day realizing that we had something that felt really, really good, and then when Paul (DiGiovanni) brought it to life, I thought, ‘Aw Man, that might be a hit! We’re onto something.’ But I think for me it’s different. Sonically, I haven’t really put out a song that feels that way, and then two, it’s kind of a manly love song. I think it’s just like I love a lot of things that I’m supposed to love, but when it comes to what truly gets me out of the bed in the morning is my family and I don’t know. I think we did a good job saying it in a cool and unique way.”
