• LUKE BRYAN’S BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE GOES DELUXE TOMORROW.

Luke Bryan is getting ready to release the deluxe version of his No. 1, RIAA gold certified album BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE (Deluxe Edition) on Friday (April 9th), adding six NEW songs to the album’s original 10 tracks.

“We all know 2020 was hard on all levels for many,” shared Luke in a press release. “Things were put on hold in the entertainment business, but it did allow more time to make music and I’m excited to share these six new songs.”

“When I look at some of these songs that I’ve written, I wrote ‘em and they’re on my brain now,” says Luke. “And it’s like, I don’t want to sit on ‘em and hold ‘em for a new project that I may try to do a full-length project in two years. I think a lot of trends in music are fans love to be able to go and seek new music, and I’ve got the songs that I love. I got the songs that I’m proud of that tell the story of where I’m at right now, and there’s no need for fans not to hear ‘em right now.”

The album contains his current smash single “Down To One” as well as four No. 1 hits so far- “Knockin’ Boots,” “What She Wants Tonight,” “One Margarita” and “Down To One,” which landed as Luke’s 26th career #1 single.

  • LUKE BRYAN “HOOKS” A BIG ONE ON A RECENT FISHING TRIP.

Luke Bryan tends to take everything in stride, including taking a trip to a medical center earlier this week to get a pretty elaborate fishing hook removed from his hand. The four-time Entertainer of the Year took to Instagram to reveal he really hooked himself a big one – his hand.

Notice when you click on the clip, it says “This video may contain graphic or violent content.” Bless.

He documented the trip to the hospital to have the procedure done on his Instagram stories and headed right back on the water afterward with his guitar tech, Russ.

A few comments on his video included his wife, Caroline, who said, “I leave your ass for 2 hours and this happens…damn baby.” Travis Denning, who loves to fish as well, said, “I don’t think you’ll be able to pass that middle hook 😳,” while Jake Owen quipped, “Huntin’, Fishin’ Lovin’ every day,” after one of Luke’s No. 1 hits.

Luke, who is in his fourth season as a judge on American Idol, is set to release the deluxe version of his Born Here Live Here Die Here album next Friday (April 9th).

  • LUKE BRYAN AND CONSTELLATION BRANDS REINTRODUCE TWO LANE AMERICAN GOLDEN LAGER AND WELCOME TWO LANE HARD SELTZER.

Constellation Brands, the leading brewer and producer of high-end beer, wine and spirits, has teamed up with four-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan to reintroduce Two Lane American Golden Lager, named for the familiar roads that lead you home, and welcome Two Lane Hard Seltzer, a new Southern-inspired hard seltzer.

Luke and Constellation introduced Two Lane Lager in early 2020, before temporarily hitting pause on production due to the global pandemic. Now, the beer is back on shelves and available in the corner of the country Luke calls home: Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, with plans to steadily expand distribution in the coming years. Fans in the Southeast will have more ways to kick it up, because the lager is joined by Two Lane Hard Seltzer. Two Lane Hard Seltzer was introduced in Georgia, and given its warm reception, it is now available beyond the Peach State. Each of its four refreshing flavors channels the taste of home with just one sip, reminding drinkers of summer days at the lake or sitting on the porch.

“It’s no secret that I love a good time, and I’m also deeply connected to my roots. Two Lane has found the perfect balance, combining my celebratory approach to life and my connection to home,” Luke said. “I’m very excited that Two Lane is back on shelves, and I can’t wait for people to get their first sips of Two Lane Hard Seltzer. It’s a great complement to the lager, and I hope y’all love it as much as I do.”

Luke’s support of Two Lane goes far deeper than a celebrity endorsement. He’s played an instrumental role throughout the entire process, from tasting to creative development. In fact, the flavors of Two Lane Hard Seltzer offer a literal taste of Luke’s home, with Southern-inspired recipes such as Cherry Limeade, Peach Tea, Blueberry Lemonade and Watermelon Punch.

“Two Lane is a natural extension of our high-end portfolio, and we are thrilled not only to get lager back on shelf, but to also offer Two Lane Hard Seltzer to fans across the Southeast,” said Jim Sabia, executive vice president and managing director, Beer Division, Constellation Brands. “We found an incredible co-creator in Luke Bryan. He’s down to earth and is direct in sharing his likes and dislikes, so working with him and evolving the Two Lane brand has been a really fun ride.”

Using only high-quality, American-grown ingredients, Constellation and Luke are proud to brew every can of Two Lane Lager and Hard Seltzer in Daleville, Virgina, with water sourced from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Audio / Chris Stapleton, who is nominated for 6 ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist and Album of the Year (among others), talks about the theme of his latest album, Starting Over.

    Download

Chris Stapleton (theme of Starting Over album) OC: …as humans. :54
“I’ve never really looked at records necessarily as having a theme.  I’ve never made a record in that kind of a constraint necessarily. And there are a lot of great records that have this theme and this overlying thread that kind of runs through them.  Maybe the thread for me is just I’m singing. I wrote a bulk of the songs. It’s the same guys playing all the songs. If there’s a theme – if there’s a theme it’s hopefully there’s a theme of truth somewhere in it. And what I mean by that is hopefully we’re conveying in the songs some experiences that feel real and hopefully people can find themselves in those songs and in the album. And for me if I’m looking for a theme it’s that kind of, I don’t know, that thing that binds us all together as humans.”

Audio / Eric Church, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, is nominated for Entertainer (among others) at this year’s ACM Awards. Backstage at last year’s CMA Awards, he talked about his first Entertainer of the Year win.

    Download

Eric Church (CMA 2020) 1 OC: …next year or two. :31
“There’s not really been winners this year. I mean, nobody’s played. Nobody’s done the things we normally do. It’s been a year, to me, about losses. It’s about loss of life. It’s about loss of education for your kids. It’s about loss of time playing. It’s been a year of managing those losses. But I really meant what I said (during my acceptance speech) that we were in a room together as country music, and that’s not happened this year. So, I think that that was a win for country music, and I think it was a win for where we’re gonna go in the next year or two.”

Audio / Before releasing his latest album in August of last year, Luke Bryan talked about what fans can expect on BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE.

    Download

Luke Bryan (fan expectations for BHLHDH) OC: …something for everybody. :37
“I think fans can expect a little something of everything. They can expect a love song, a dancing song; obviously, ‘One Margarita’ being a big ole fun summer drinking song. And I think we have songs that will make you cry, touch your emotions, and I think, like I said there are songs that you can fall in love to out there. And there are songs that talk about the true meaning of life when you think about a song like ‘For a Boat,’ and you got a father teaching his son about the important things in life. So, I’m just proud of the way the album come together, and I feel like there’s something for everybody.”

“You know, the song, ‘cause I didn’t write it I can only brag on it, is just really well-written. It’s catchy, it’s fun. It’s metaphorical about what’s happening right now. It reminds me a little bit of some stuff we’ve had out in the past, but it feels like new territory in other ways and I don’t know, I just enjoyed it. I enjoyed singing it and I enjoyed playing it, and I wanted to put it out there and I thought our fans would enjoy it too.”

Keith Urban (P!NK duet) OC: …it together. :29
“This song was written as a duet, and I sent the song to her and luckily she loved it. I loved the song and I was really hoping she would love it, because she’s truly one of the great singers of our generation. So, to hear her voice on this song was phenomenal. We had such a great time getting to do that. I wish we could’ve done it in the same space, but you know with the situation we’re in, of course, we couldn’t do that. So, she recorded her vocal at her house and I did mine at my house, and we put it together.”

“’Hallelujah’ is a song that touches on many different topics and feelings. It’s a love song, it’s a Christmas song, it’s a celebrating the time of year song. It’s you know, still wanting that joyfulness – it was written by John Legend and Toby Gad. When I listened to it, it had John’s voice on it, and it’s just beautiful. I knew I wanted to sing it – we asked if John, you might want to sing it with me. The perfect song, the perfect person, John Legend sounds amazing on it and I was like wow, I can’t believe that this just all came together like this, and just kind of a really cool collaboration.”

It’s been my whole life. And so to be nominated for an ACM, something like New Male Artist of the Year – an absolute honor and a dream come true and so cool to see how proud my family is of me getting nominated for something like this. It’s just, there are no words, man. So grateful.”
