Parker McCollum just had a pinch-me moment when NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning came out on stage to sing Brooks and Dunn’s “Red Dirt Road” with him at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

Carrie Underwood (Give Her That) OC: …to figure out. :25 “I wrote ‘Give Her That’ with David Garcia and Lydia Vaughan, and it was one of those songs I feel like we had to play with it quite a bit when we were in the studio because it’s a surprisingly hard song to sing. So, we were messing with keys and tempos honestly longer than we probably should have (laughs), but I wanted to get it perfect, and it was just an interesting puzzle to figure out.”

Luke Bryan releases a new song “Southern and Slow” today across all digital platforms. “Southern and Slow,” the third song off a forth coming album, was written by Matt Dragstrem, Josh Thompson and Chase McGill and co-produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens.
“‘Southern and Slow’ reflects on simple times,” says Luke. “Those picture-perfect moments like the sun setting behind a water tower, honey dripping off a spoon, well, it doesn’t get much countrier than that. Let’s slow it down southern style because this life seems to be moving faster than ever.”
Luke’s current radio single “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” the follow up single to his 30th career No. 1 “Country On,” is poised to enter the Top 10 on the country charts.
The five-time Entertainer of the Year recently revealed his final run of dates for his Las Vegas residency at Resorts World. He will continue his Country On Tour in Nashville on Saturday (August 12th), followed by a show on Sunday (August 13th) in Brandon, Mississippi. For more information on tour dates, click here.

As current single “Giving Up On That” continues climbing the charts, MusicRow-dubbed “master country talent,” Dalton Dover releases a new Friday night anthem with “Night To Go” via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records.
“When I heard this song for the first time, it took me back to being a kid. This is the kind of music I grew up listening to,” shares Dover. “I wanted to do something that would make my ‘90s Country heroes proud.”
Written by Cole Taylor, Trea Landon, Shane Minor and Michael Carter, “Night To Go” is a nostalgic ‘90s barn burner with copious steel guitar, as Dover showcases his powerful voice and delivers the perfect night in the country:
It ain’t parking with your buddies at the same ol’ bar
Drinking all the same ol’ drinks
It ain’t hangin’ at the house all by yourself
Staring at a football game
Well there’s a million different ways to burn some moonlight
But if you asked me there ain’t nothing like
Pick her up at seven, she climbs on in
Ride around a little to a country song
Pull into that county line and go
And go and get our cold beer on
Lean in for a kiss underneath the stars
Til the sun shows up, just hold her close
That’s about as good as a good ol’ boy
Would ever want a night to go
Dover’s first official single “Giving Up On That” debuted as the most-added song at Country radio, with MusicRow calling it “a solid winner,” boasting, “this power ballad of regret and yearning gives him a super showcase for his dynamic, whisper-to-a-scream vocal ability,” and of Dover, “make this man a star.”
Ahead of Mother’s Day, the Georgia native paid tribute to his mother with “I Wouldn’t Be Here” and delivered a preview of the song as he shared his mom’s reaction to hearing it for the first time on his Instagram.

Jordan Davis released the official music video for his new single, “Tucson Too Late.” The Louisiana native co-wrote the follow-up to his recent multi-week No. 1 “Next Thing You Know” with his brother Jacob Davis and brothers Josh and Matt Jenkins, the same dream team behind “Buy Dirt.”
He says of the song inspired by Keith Whitley’s “Miami, My Amy,” “I really like the way we kept this very simple, we let the lyrics speak, we tried to really just kinda make the listener feel the kinda worry that this guy was going through trying to get this girl back, and I think Paul (DiGiovanni) absolutely nailed the production on it in letting the vocals speak and letting the lyrics shine. And I think too, like it’s something that I’ve never done. I don’t think I’ve ever released a song that is as maybe traditional as this one. You know, stuff like this is what I grew up on. Being able to have a song like this out that has this kinda feel, I don’t know, for me it’s fun.”
Jordan will perform his new single when he performs in in Salt Lake City on Friday (August 11th) and in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday (August 12th) on Dierks Bentley’s Gravel & Gold Tour.
Jordan is set to kick off his own headlining Damn Good Time Tour August 31st in Atlanta, Georgia.
Priscilla Block is having one of the best weeks of her life. She is celebrating her first No. 1 song on country radio with Justin Moore (this is his 12th chart-topper) with “You, Me, And Whiskey.” The pair face-timed earlier this week to celebrate their chart-topper, and Priscilla couldn’t contain her emotions. She said in a post on her socials, “It’s taken me a couple days to process this… but I’m starting to realize that dreams really do come true. I have my first number one at country radio. Justin Moore thank you for trusting me with this song.I have learned so much from you throughout this. You’ve went above and beyond to reach down and pull the next artist up and that’s not something you see every day. I will forever be grateful for this and I can only hope that someday I can return the favor to a new artist like myself. Also, huge thank you to our teams, COUNTRY RADIO, and most of all the fans! We love you. Here’s to many more!!!”
Priscilla thanks Country Radio and the fans for believing in her. “I am so excited to say that I have my first-ever No. 1 at country radio,” she says. “This is the craziest thing ever! It definitely is such a highlight for me and my career. Gosh, I feel like I have so many people to thank, but Country Music, thank you so much for changing my life. Thank you for believing in me since day one. To the fans – we love you! It’s you, me and whiskey all night long, baby.”
The duet, which is featured on Justin’s recently released Stray Dog album, was written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Cole Taylor, and it marks Justin’s 12th career No. 1 and Priscilla’s first-ever chart-topper.
In other news, Priscilla recently released a new song, called “Fake Names.” In addition to her own headlining shows, she is getting ready to hit the road with Old Dominion on their No Bad Vibes Tour this fall and will also be on tour with Justin for another leg of the You, Me, And Whiskey Tour later this year.
She’s also celebrating her birthday today (August 10th).

A devastated Kip Moore posted a video on his socials on Thursday (August 10th) to reveal he’s working on a benefit to help those ravaged and destroyed by the horrific fire that has engulfed the Hawaiian island of Maui. According to news reports, the fire, which was fueled by a dry summer and strong winds from a passing hurricane, has claimed the lives of at least 36 people so far. *UPDATED: at least 55 killed and more than 1,000 structures damaged or destroyed.
“Anyone that’s followed this page for any length of time knows that it’s not just a place that I go, it’s home, and I’ve developed some of the strongest friendships that I have in my life there; the kind of people that would truly do anything for you, if you asked ’em. So, I guess I’m making this (video) to say to anyone that’s watching from Maui that’s seeing this video, there’s a lot of people talking about you, there’s a lot of people that want to help, that are going to help, and I know it’s a long, long, it’s going to be a long road back to rebuilding, but there’s people that want to jump on board and help that process. And I’ve already been on the phone with different artist friends of mine, agents, managers trying to figure out how quickly we can get over there and do a show to raise funds to help that process, get it moving. Already talking to different construction companies that might want to team up and help this process. So, yeah, just wanted to say there are so many people on the mainland thinking about you guys and we want to help.”
For fans and friends who want to donate, Kip included a link to the One Heartbeat Hawaii Fund, which is a charitable endeavor established by the singer-songwriter last year to help nourish the needs of underserved native Maui residents. A percentage of tickets sold from his “Fire On Wheels Tour” last year went to the fund.
Jordan Davis has released his new single, “Tucson Too Late,” the follow-up to his multi-week No. 1 smash, “Next Thing You Know.” Jordan co-wrote the song with his brother Jacob Davis and brothers Josh and Matt Jenkins, the same dream team behind “Buy Dirt.”
“I remember talking about (Keith Whitley’s) ‘Miami, My Amy,’ you know how that song just grabs you, and as you can tell, out of that conversation came ‘Tuscon Too Late,'” he recalls. “I really like the way we kept this very simple, we let the lyrics speak, we tried to really just kinda make the listener feel the kinda worry that this guy was going through trying to get this girl back, and I think Paul (DiGiovanni) absolutely nailed the production on it in letting the vocals speak and letting the lyrics shine. “So, ‘Tucson Too Late,’ another song I wrote with Jacob, Matt, and Josh, the ‘Buy Dirt’ squad. I write more with them more than I write with anybody. I think it’s cool for us, every time we get together it like, what can we do, what have we not done, what is something that we can try to write today that’ll challenge us that’s different? And I remember talking about (Keith Whitley’s) ‘Miami, My Amy,’ you know how that song just grabs you, and as you can tell, out of that conversation came ‘Tuscon Too Late.’ I really like the way we kept this very simple, we let the lyrics speak, we tried to really just kinda make the listener feel the kinda worry that this guy was going through trying to get this girl back, and I think Paul absolutely nailed the production on it in letting the vocals speak and letting the lyrics shine. Luke Bryan is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the release of his multi-platinum album, Crash My Party. The 4-times platinum album produced six No. 1 singles, including the title track, “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Roller Coaster,” “I See You,” “Drink A Beer” and “Play It Again.”
“She was like, OMG this is my song!” Luke’s 4th single off the #CrashMyParty album “Play It Again” held its #1 spot for 4 weeks and is Luke’s most-streamed song to date. Play it again and again and again today. https://t.co/sgmFwYuavCpic.twitter.com/PC60ymiWCM
“Drink a Beer” was debuted on the 2013 @CountryMusic Awards alongside @ChrisStapleton, who co-wrote the song and is featured on the track. Luke Bryan (Crash My Party Album) OC: …on there. :38 “The album – it has your party songs, it has your songs that are about life, and they’re about rural life. It’s got love songs, I’ve never done this kind of love song on it, that I’m really, really excited about. I mean, we’ve got songs for the guys, songs for the girls, songs you can go riding dirt roads in, songs you can cry to and songs, I think I’ve got a song on there that could really, really change people’s lives and really help them heal through a tough time. So, I’ve never been more excited about an upcoming album, and I think this has something for everybody on there.”
Audio / In 2013 prior to the release of his Crash My Party album, Luke Bryan explained what would make the album a success to him.
Luke Bryan (what would make CMP a success) OC: …widely accepted. :58 “In my opinion what would define the success of this album is obviously to…gosh, I don’t know. To sell three or four million albums certainly. But my main thing is to continue to move the needle on the fans knowing that I’m upping my game constantly and coming with better songs and singing better than ever and fueling the live show in whatever is going to, the ability to grow into bigger and bigger and bigger venues constantly for as many years as I can. And making sure this album continues that upper climb of upward movement to being an even more elite entertainer on a global scale to where my music is me, to where I didn’t change my music to make it global. I make kind of a more of an audience come to what I’m saying and selling. And if I can do that on this album it’s a success. So just telling my story and making my story that which is something that is widely accepted.”
Audio / In 2013, Luke Bryan talked about one of his favorite songs on the album, “Drink a Beer.”
Luke Bryan (Drink a Beer) OC: …the album. :50 “‘Drink a Beer’ is the best way I can describe it is — it’s the coolest sad song I’ve ever heard. It’s the saddest sad song you’ve ever heard but it’s like it could be played at any really environment and you’re not going to tank the mood. You’re just going to make people reflect and the perfect way you’re going to make them revert back to somebody that they lost, whether it’s their granddad that they used to sit on a boat and drink a beer with. It’s whoever in your life that you’ve lost that you would have shared a beer with, and I think it’s just a perfectly written sad song, and it’s one of those that I’m honored that it found its way to me and I’m honored that it can be on the album.”
Audio / Luke Bryan talks about singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton who wrote “Drink a Beer,” and also sings background vocals on the song.
Luke Bryan (Stapleton on Drink a Beer) OC: …piece of work. :36 “Having Chris Stapleton sing background on it that’s like heaven. That’s like me being in a foot race with Usain Bolt [sprinter and 6-time Olympic gold medalist] or something. Having Chris Stapleton sing, he’s the best singer on the planet to me. So, for him to come in and lend his backgrounds on it takes this song even yet to a higher level with just how powerful he is as a singer and an artist, and he wrote the song also with Jim Beavers. I’m honored to say I’m starting to do some pieces of works. It feels like a true piece of work.”
