Today brings new music from four-time GRAMMY© Award winner Keith Urban.  His latest release, “Street Called Main” is as “pure, open road with the windows down, feel-good as it gets.”  As Urban sees it, “some memories are triggered by the simplest of things, like finding yourself anywhere in the world – even on a ‘street called main’ – and suddenly ‘she’ comes flooding back.”

Urban, who has been working on a new album slated for release in 2023, recorded “Main” in Nashville with longtime co-producer Dann Huff.  He’s been performing some of the new songs on stages across North America as part of his critically hailed THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022, which will end following shows on November 3rd in Madison, Wisconsin, November 4th in Peoria, Illinois and November 5th in Saint Paul, Minnesota before landing in Australia next month.

Urban’s current radio single “Brown Eyes Baby” continues to climb the chart, having just entered the Top 30.

Hubbard’s debut solo album will be released on January 27, 2023.

LISTEN TO “5 FOOT 9 (ACOUSTIC)” – HERE

“I’m so excited to be releasing an acoustic version of ‘5 Foot 9’,” says Hubbard. “I’m humbled by the response we’ve seen from fans over the past few months. Hearing crowds singing the words back to me on tour has been an incredible experience. For this acoustic version, we started from scratch and really broke down the instrumentation and tempo to give it a different feel. We ended up with an interpretation that we hope brings a new emotion to the song.”

Hubbard will make his Grand Ole Opry debut (as a solo artist) on Friday, November 11. Tickets are available HERE.

Tyler Hubbard’s first six-song project, Dancin’ In The Country, debuted with over 10,000 SPS units (sales plus streaming) making it the second best-selling country EP debut of the year. Dancin’ In The Country also debuted at No.1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 6 on the Current Country Albums sales chart, and No. 107 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Billboard says of the debut collection, “The singer-songwriter has offered a promising collection of six tracks on Dancin’ In The Country, which make good use of his pliable voice and storytelling panache by supporting them with full-bodied production.” Since releasing his debut single, Hubbard has released eight unofficial music videos. Watch all of Hubbard’s videos HERE.

Hubbard is currently on tour on Keith Urban’s “THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR,” which wraps next week. For information on where to get tickets go to www.tylerhubbardofficial.com.

Darius Rucker (Wagon Wheel) OC: …finished it. :43
“Somebody had played ‘Wagon Wheel’ for me years ago. It was one of those things that didn’t really…and I didn’t really get it. So, I’m at my daughter’s high school talent show, and I’m sitting in the audience with my family. We were watching my daughter, and the faculty band gets up. It’s just the faculty from her school, and they play ‘Wagon Wheel.’ And I’m sitting in the audience, and they get to the middle of the chorus, and I turned to my wife, and I go, ‘I’ve got to cut this song.’ I’m serious. This all happened in three-and-a-half minutes, four minutes, while they’re playing the song. And so I’m texting Frank Rogers, ‘Do you know this ‘Wagon Wheel’ song?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah. It’s by Old Crow Medicine Show.’ He said, ‘A lot of people have cut it.’ I said, ‘I don’t care! [laughs] I’m cutting it!’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, dude. We’ll try it. We’ll cut it.’ And so…I cut it, and it was great after we finished it.”

Darius Rucker (Loretta Lynn) OC: …human being. :54
“Loretta was wonderful to me. We became really good friends. She always called me her boyfriend, and we always had a great time together. Loretta was, when I first came to Nashville 16 years ago, Loretta was one of the first people who was singing my praises. I’ll never forget looking at just a random article somebody sent to me, and they asked Loretta what she thought of country music, and she said, ‘That Darius Rucker is country.’ That was amazing to me. That was amazing to me that she even knew who I was, let alone to go out of her way to be that way to me and be that way in public, and I think that helped me a lot. So, we became really good friends and she’s always special. I miss Loretta. I miss seeing her at the Opry. I miss seeing her at the CMAs and shows and stuff, and she always came up to me and gave me a big hug and made me feel like I was the most important person in her life in that moment, and I miss her. • RUCKER’S RENO IN CHARLESTON MAY JUST BE ONE OF THE SPOOKIEST PLACES TO SPEND HALLOWEEN.

Darius Rucker had a blast renovating an historic mansion in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina for The Design Network earlier this year, and it turned out beautifully. He did casually mention, however, that he felt the 1700s home may be haunted.

“Oh, I slept in there a couple nights, and you could feel it,” Darius says with a laugh. “You could feel it. You know it, but of course it is. It was built in the 1700s. The first night I was laying there, and I turned the TV off, and the TV goes into the ceiling. I turned the TV off, and I was there for three-minutes, and I could feel it. It’s an old house and it starts creaking and everything, and I got up and put my shoes on and ran back outside to my other house.”

With an eye for design and innate love of Charleston, Darius and his design team tackled the restoration of this home one room at a time, while also stopping by some of the city’s finest establishments. He also showcased the best parts of Charleston’s vibrant culture, meeting up with local chefs, entrepreneurs, fishermen and friends as he highlights some of the top attractions in the area, from generations of tea growers to the many outdoor activities this city by the sea has to offer.

“It’s always an honor when I get to showcase my hometown of Charleston to the world, and I’m thankful to The Design Network for such a great platform to do just that,” Darius said. “The team on this project was so talented and made it such a fun, creative process from start to finish. I can’t wait for everyone to see the transformation!”

Darius recently released “Ol’ Church Hymn,” featuring trio Chapel Hart. He co-wrote the song with Ben Hayslip, Josh Miller and Greylan James.

Audio / Darius Rucker says he feels the historic Charleston, South Carolina mansion he renovated for his TV show "Rucker's Reno," is haunted.
