• TYLER HUBBARD RELEASES NEW SONG “WAY HOME.”

EMI Records Nashville recording artist Tyler Hubbard continues the release of new music as he unveils his latest track “Way Home” from his highly anticipated solo project. The new song follows his debut radio single, “5 Foot 9,” which is currently Top 25 and climbing the country radio airplay charts. Also, previously announced, Hubbard will be joining Keith Urban on tour this fall, performing his new solo music for the first time on tour.

Written by Hubbard with Corey Crowder and Canaan Smith, “Way Home” was one of the first songs Hubbard wrote after making the decision to pursue a solo career.  The song illustrates the way Hubbard relies on his foundation of faith and “is a traditional country song that can be heard in a church and a honky-tonk,” says Hubbard.

“For me, this is a personal song, that allows fans to get to know me on an even deeper level,” adds Hubbard. “This song is a reflection on where I’ve been, where I am now, and where I’m headed. It’s become my personal reminder, on a regular basis, of who’s really driving this truck we call life. Thank God it ain’t me.”

    Listen to “Way Home” HERE

    Chorus:

Well, they say that life is a highway

And I’ve put some miles on mine

More than one time, I took the wrong two-lane

Just lettin’ my horses run wild

Yeah, I got lost (yeah, I got lost)

Until I got found (until I got found)

Oh, and now that it’s well with my soul

I just ride in the seat next to Jesus

‘Cause I know He knows the way home

Bringing his trademark high-energy performance style, Hubbard will join Keith Urban and previously announced special guest Ingrid Andress on “The Speed Of Now World Tour,” beginning September 3rd at The Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The fall tour dates will run through November. For information on where to get tickets go to www.tylerhubbardofficial.com.

Hubbard’s debut solo single, “5 Foot 9,” which Billboard calls a “promising introduction to Hubbard’s solo music,” and MusicRow says is the “soundtrack song for summer,” has over 40M global streams. The song quickly moved inside the Top 50 on the streaming chart in its first four weeks of release and is solidly inside the Top 25 at radio.  “5 Foot 9” currently is No. 19 on the Spotify Top 200 and the single has landed on TikTok’s Top 5 U.S. sounds with over 254K creations to date.  It has also placed No. 7 on the Shazam Top Country Chart and sits at No. 87 on the Shazam Top 200 USA Chart. Hubbard’s latest song, “35’s,” entered the Spotify Top 200 Country Chart just two weeks after launch and has over 1.5M total global streams.

Tyler Hubbard (Way Home) OC: …from the heart. :46
“’Way Home’ is a special song that I wrote with a couple of my great buddies, Canaan Smith and Corey Crowder. And this is one of the first songs that I had wrote after I decided to be a solo artist and to really shift my perspective in writing rooms to specifically to trying to write for me and my project and my album, and kind of capture my voice and what I want to say and tell the world my story. This is a song that does just that. It’s kind of autobiographical and tells the world and tells the fans kind of where I came from and where I’m at and where I’m headed, and also just a reminder to stay in the passenger seat and let Jesus drive and he’s in control and knows where we’re headed. So, anytime I feel like I’m leaning over and trying to grab the wheel, I’m just reminded of who’s in control and who needs to stay in control. So, this is a special song, from the heart.”

  • CARRIE UNDERWOOD BROUGHT IMAGINATION, IMAGERY AND BEAUTY TO HER “GHOST STORY” VIDEO.

Carrie Underwood is closing in on the Top 10 on the country charts with her latest smash “Ghost Story.” The song creates a lot of sweeping imagery that is brought to life in the cinematic music video, which was the main goal she wanted for the three-and-a-half minute mini-movie.

“The music video, if you’re gonna usher in a new era, I want to do it big,” says Carrie. “That one I was like we can kind of go over the top, but that’s what we wanted. We wanted it to be beautiful and imaginative, because I feel like the song is, so a lot of really great imagery that’s written into the song and we just wanted to kind of bring that to life.”

In the clip, Carrie becomes somewhat of an acrobat, but she says getting the shots on the trapeze was pretty tough. “It was a fun day shooting the video, but the trapeze was unexpectedly difficult. It doesn’t look difficult, but it’s really difficult.”

She took that one step further when she performed on this year’s CMT Music Awards.

Carrie is set to perform at the Grand Ole Opry on July 30th, and then she’ll prepare for The Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which will kick off October 15th in Greenville, South Carolina.

  • PARKER MCCOLLUM TEAMS WITH ICONIC BRAND LUCCHESE BOOTMAKER FOR AN ON-GOING PARTNERSHIP.

One of Country music’s biggest breakout stars of the past year, Parker McCollum, has partnered with the legendary Lucchese Bootmaker brand for an exciting multi-year deal that will spotlight the high-caliber artistry and 140+ year heritage of Lucchese as well as McCollum’s authentic resonance with his devoted fanbase. As a Texas native, McCollum has grown-up admiring Lucchese’s legacy in their detailed attention to the quality and integrity of their products and mirrors that same work-ethic in his own career, both on-stage and in the studio.

“Lucchese has always been the boots that I wanted when I was a kid,” says Parker. “I can remember several years ago saying to the band and kind of saying to myself quite a bit, how much I would love to sign a deal with Lucchese one day and be able to represent them with what I do, since I just love their product so much. It quite literally gives me chills to think about the fact that we’re actually signing a deal with Lucchese and it’s a big deal and means something. It’s going to give both of us a platform to collaborate on, which is literally one of my dreams that I had a couple of years ago. So to manifest that and speak it and actually come to fruition, is what dreams are all about, man. You can never shoot too high, and you can never dream too big. You just never know what you may end up actually getting in life. So the Lucchese deal is a prime example of that, and I’m just so excited to start this relationship and build on it and show the world what we can do.”

“We are truly excited to announce our long-term partnership with Parker McCollum. Here at Lucchese, we view the craftsmanship and intent that goes into handmaking our boots akin to that of the curation of a new song. The output of the artistry may be different, but its process and dedication to the craft remain the same. Throughout our relationship, it has become evident that Parker understands our world just as we do his- he is a true ambassador and steward of the Lucchese brand, and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for both of our fanbases.” – Doug Kindy, President – Lucchese.
