Award-winning duo Maddie & Tae channel their unbreakable bond, honest songwriting and “some of the tightest harmonies on Music Row” (Rolling Stone) into their brand-new collection of songs Through The Madness Vol. 1, out now. Together as longtime friends and music collaborators, Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr co-wrote each of the project’s eight tracks, including their latest single, “Woman You Got,” plus recent releases “Strangers” and “Madness.” The pair drew praise for their No. 1 debuting The Way It Feels album, including the Double Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Die From A Broken Heart.” With “Die From A Broken Heart” topping the country airplay charts, Maddie & Tae became the first and only female twosome with multiple No. 1s.

Maddie & Tae first broke out in 2013 with their brilliant counter to bro-country, the Platinum-selling smash, “Girl In A Country Song,” which took Country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts and establishing them as only the third female duo in 70 years to top the Country Airplay charts. Recently nominated a seventh time for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 55th CMA Awards, they have earned trophies from the Radio Disney Music Awards and CMA Awards, along with multiple ACM, Billboard and CMT Award nominations. Maddie & Tae have received widespread praise from Associated Press, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, The Tennessean, The Washington Post, Glamour and others. MADDIE: “I want fans to hear this project and feel known, seen and hopeful – those would be the things that we are going for with this project. We want to be real. I mean, there’s some heartbreakers on this project, but there are also songs to get you out of those moments. Just, our favorite thing in the world is to write real music, real lyric, and I feel like with this body of work we dug in even deeper, and I didn’t know we could go deeper. Jesus, what’s gonna happen on the next one? (TAE: “Oh Lawd.”) We’ve already been doing therapy and things, I don’t know how much deeper it gets than this, but we did. (laughs)”

  • JON PARDI RELEASES NEW SINGLE “LAST NIGHT LONELY.”

CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi has released his brand-new single “Last Night Lonely,” out everywhere now. Hitting country radio airwaves today, the track has its world premiere on iHeartRadio, and is officially going for adds on Tuesday (February 22nd). Listen to “Last Night Lonely” – the first look at Pardi’s highly anticipated upcoming studio release –  HERE.

Penned by Joe Fox, Jimi Bell and Dylan Marlowe, the fiddle and steel-drenched track further etches Pardi’s “long-lasting mark on the genre” (Music Row), following his critically acclaimed third album, Heartache Medication. Nominated for Album of the Year by both the CMA and ACM, Heartache Medication was named one of Rolling Stone’s Best Country Albums of 2019 while standing as the only country album on the Los Angeles Times “Best Albums of the Year” list.

With an impressive ability to carve his own path proving “the kind of country music multiple generations came to know, and love can still work on a mass scale” (Variety), Pardi’s instantly identifiable twang, fiddle, and steel guitars “apply new ideas to country’s old sounds” (Los Angeles Times). Lauded as a “hero in the making” (Variety), he continues to “bring authenticity back into Country music” (People).

  • LAUREN ALAINA IS SET TO APPEAR IN NEW CBS REALITY SERIES “BEYOND THE EDGE.”

CBS today announced the new reality series BEYOND THE EDGE, which features nine celebrities trading their worlds of luxury to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama, where they face off in epic adventures and endure the most brutal conditions, as they push themselves to go far beyond their comfort zone. From the producers of “Naked and Afraid” comes the most intense celebrity adventure ever attempted, where only teamwork, perseverance and finding the inner strength they never knew they possessed can get them through another day and raise money for their chosen charities. BEYOND THE EDGE will premiere Wednesday, March 16th (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. Showtime sports announcer Mauro Ranallo hosts.

The nine celebrities who will brave the Panama jungle in BEYOND THE EDGE are country superstar Lauren Alaina, Super Bowl MVP Ray Lewis, country superstar Craig Morgan, NBA champion Metta World Peace, supermodel Paulina Porizkova, NFL legend Mike Singletary, actress Jodie Sweetin (“Full House,” “Fuller House”) and television personalities Colton Underwood (“The Bachelor”) and Eboni K. Williams (“The Real Housewives of New York City”).

For two weeks, the celebrities will see if they have the grit to withstand torrential downpours, scorching heat and deadly wildlife while living in the exotic Panama jungle. There won’t be any judges or eliminations – instead, each celebrity must rely on their inner fortitude, physical ability, and courage, and have faith in their teammates to endure in the wild. For each day they last, and every grueling adventure challenge they win with their team, the celebrities will raise more money for their charities. If a player reaches their breaking point, they can ring a bell to signal that they are ready to go home. At the end of the 14 days, the top two earners will go head to head in one final adventure, to see who can become the BEYOND THE EDGE champion and take home the most money for their charity.

“BEYOND THE EDGE is the most extreme celebrity format ever attempted,” said executive producer Greg Goldman. “The day before we started principal photography, all of the producers looked at each other with the sinking feeling that this celebrity cast might see where they were living for up to two weeks – the harsh jungles of Panama – and just bolt. To the contrary, we were amazed by how these icons pushed themselves to their breaking points, showing incredible mental fortitude and physical tenacity. And all for an incredible cause: to raise money for charities that are near and dear to their hearts.”

Buena Vista Records’ CB30 released their fan favorite new song “Don’t Say Goodnight” today – listen HERE. Written by CB30’s Christian Clementi, Trannie Anderson, and Dallas Wilson, the harmony-driven song tells a story about a young couple spending time together and not wanting to part ways.

Christian Clementi comments on how he felt writing the song saying, “From the day I wrote “Don’t Say Goodnight” with Trannie and Dallas, Brody and I knew it was such a special song. We knew we wanted to wait for the right time to share it with the world, so now is the time!”

“The second I heard this song I loved it right away,” adds CB30’s Brody Clementi. “This has been an unreleased fan favorite, we’ve been playing it live for a few years, and we are so excited to get to release it.”

Throughout last year, CB30 released a string of new singles “Old Phone,” “Learning Curves,” and “Healthy.” The duo found early success on the popular social media platform, TikTok, garnering tens of millions of views and over 2.6 million followers, making them one of the most followed country artists on the platform. TikTok has been instrumental in sharing their personality and music with fans.

    About CB30:
CB30, comprised of real-life brothers Christian and Brody Clementi, grew up in Nashville surrounded by music from a young age. After playing some local charity events with their father Jay Clementi, a successful songwriter, they caught the attention of country superstar Luke Bryan who introduced them to various industry contacts leading to a record deal with Buena Vista Records, a partnership between Disney Music Group and Universal Music Group Nashville. The name CB30 comes from Christian and Brody’s first initials as well as the fact they were both born on the 30th of the month, Christian’s birthday is May 30th while Brody’s is March 30th. Their young, fresh sound is built on harmony-driven country melodies with influences ranging from The Everly Brothers to Ed Sheeran. In between football and baseball games, you can often find Christian and Brody on the lake fishing and wakeboarding. CB30 have previously opened for Luke Bryan on a number of stadium dates and made their debut at the famed Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, Calif. The boys visited New York with appearances on Barstool Sports, Music Choice, and TigerBeat. The duo performed as part of Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home live stream concert in partnership the World Health Organization. CB30 previously released a new version of their song, “We Are Right Now,” remixed by NYC-based producers, Black Caviar. Last year, CB30 was invited to be part of CMT’s Viral To Verified series, a short-form piece highlighting their seemingly overnight viral success – watch HERE. Audio / CARRIE UNDERWOOD SAYS SHE AND JASON ALDEAN HAVE WANTED TO DO A DUET, BUT FEELS LIKE “IF I DIDN’T LOVE YOU” WAS THE “PERFECT FIT.”

Carrie Underwood (IIDLY perfect fit) OC: …the perfect fit. :30
“Jason asked if I would sing ‘If I Didn’t Love You’ with him. I knew I liked the song, and Jason and I have actually been kind of trying to do things together over the years. We’ve sang together before, but we’ve never officially recorded anything together. It just kind of felt like this could be our moment. I felt like it was a little bit of an unexpected duet to other people, but I feel like I kinda always knew at some point I’d probably sing with him officially, and this just seemed like, the stars were aligning and it just seemed like it was going to be the perfect fit.”

Audio / Jordan Davis says the success his two-week No. 1 song, "Buy Dirt," is having is pretty special.

    Download

Jordan Davis (Buy Dirt success is special) OC: …more special. :13
“It just means a lot more. I wrote it with my brother (Jacob) and two my best friends (Josh and Matt Jenkins) in town and just the content of it. It comes from a really, really honest place. So, when you have songs that mean that much and you get to see them have success like ‘Buy Dirt’ is having, it’s a little bit more special.”

Audio / Jordan Davis talks about how he and his tree co-writers came up with "Buy Dirt."

    Download

Jordan Davis (Buy Dirt origin) OC: …that day. :55
“We took a writer’s retreat a little south of Nashville, me and three of my favorite writers in the world – Matt Jenkins, Josh Jenkins and my brother Jacob. We started every day – we were down there three days – and we started every day with coffee on the back porch, and Josh would lead us in some type of devotional. He would find some scripture and then we would just kind of chew on it for a little bit. That day he had read, and I need to remember the exact scripture, but it was something about being planted, being planted in the dirt and having a strong root system so you can weather storms and rain. That is really the start of ‘Buy Dirt.’ And I don’t know if that song comes if we don’t wake up early and get out there and kind of start talking about real life. That was where it all started, and I’m grateful, grateful that I (laughs) didn’t sleep in that day.”

Audio / Jordan Davis explains how Luke Bryan ended up on his song, "Buy Dirt."

    Download

Jordan Davis (Luke Bryan on Buy Dirt) OC: …my songs now. 1:13
“I met Luke three or four years ago at an awards show after party, and got to hang with him, but I really kind of got to sit and talk with him after a round of golf one day, and we just really talked about everything under the sun aside from music. Luke kind of embodies what that song is. You know a lot of people get to see Luke on American Idol or on stage, but Luke Bryan really is a great guy. I sent him a message one day, a text message actually attached with the song, and I was like, ‘Hey Luke, I wrote this. It means a lot to me. You came to mind whenever I was thinking about it, through the writing process, and this song just kind of says what you’re about, and if you want to sing on it, great, no pressure. Don’t even feel the need to text me back or whatever. Just listen to it and let me know.’ And he got right back with me. He’s like, ‘Man I love the song. Let me live with it for a couple of days.’ And he called me back four or five days later and was like, ‘When do you want me singing on this thing?’ That was a pretty cool moment. I’m such a big fan of Luke, and he’s been a huge influence on me since I moved to Nashville, and pretty cool to have him on one of my songs now.”

And it’s really, really important for me to start building my hard tickets, and I think that you do that by getting out and kind of starting from the ground up. Welcome to the Block Party, baby!”

  • MADDIE & TAE RELEASE THEIR NEW ALBUM, THROUGH THE MADNESS VOL. 1 TOMORROW (1/28).

Maddie & Tae release their new album, Through The Madness Vol. 1, on Friday (January 28th). The duo co-penned each song on Through The Madness Vol. 1, leading with heart-wide-open vulnerability, exuding familiarity and truth. The project follows their critically acclaimed No. 1 debuting The Way It Feels album.

The duo took the title of their new project from the song “Madness,” and it totally fit with what we’ve all been through and what we’re still going through now.

“So, the title of this project came very last minute, which is the same exact thing that happened with Start Here and The Way It Feels. Through The Madness is a lyric from our song, ‘Madness,’ and we wrote this whole project through the madness of the world, through the madness of 2020,” says Maddie Font. “And I feel like ‘Madness’ sounds like it’s not hopeful song, but it is, and both of these projects are very hopeful, and we really wanted to represent that no matter how crazy the world gets or how crazy life gets, through the madness you always make it through. So, that’s how the title came to be.”

Through The Madness Vol. 1 Track List:

    1. What It’s Like Loving You (Maddie Font, Taylor Kerr, Josh Kerr, Jordan Minton)
      2.  Woman You Got (Maddie Font, Taylor Kerr, Mark Holman, Laura Veltz)
